There is nothing that I dislike, maybe more customization on design and others would make it even better.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 7. Quartzy is a great tool for lab management and coordination of purchases

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sedona Noel E. | PhD student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

It is incredibly user friendly, with a very attractive interface. It is easy to see and update the status of ordered items, which means everything gets documented correctly and can be accessed for later reference to see whether something has been purchased, how much was purchased, etc. The timeline bar showing items requested/ordered/received is very intuitively formatted. Additionally, the ability to input purchases from essentially any vendor you could want is incredibly useful. Finally, it is easy to add new team members to allow them to make purchases.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

In general there is very little I dislike about Quartzy. A few things which could be modified are that between "Inventory", "Received," and "Purchase History" there is a lot of redundancy, and without looking through documentation to figure out what each of these is supposed to include and exclude I often will look through several of them to find record of items we want to buy again. Sometimes I also have trouble searching for products that I have seen on supported vendors' websites in Quartzy, but in the end I have always found what I wanted.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

I think it is worth it! Valuable tool for laboratories that need a solution for coordinating purchasing.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My laboratory group uses it for coordinating purchases. The benefits are that it allows for a record of what has been purchased (to avoid duplicate purchases, or to allow for buying the same brand as in the past) and provides a simple, easy-to-use interface for ordering things.

  ### 8. Easy to use, great deals and inventory management system.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa C. | CEO/ managing member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

I like the filterability when searching for supplies and I like the quick links to the product page. I love the deals.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

I wish there was a way to rate products by most used or searched.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

Give it a try

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When starting a lab, organization is vital and quartzy allows you to see what you ordered when you ordered it and the arrival date all in one spot. This helps tremendously when planning experiments requiring products from multiple companies.

  ### 9. Great for ordering and inventory tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica L. | Life Science Research Professional 1, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

Our lab uses Quartzy every day to keep track of inventory and order requests. We find it super useful for requesting orders, and then tracking orders we've submitted before, as well as notifying one another of shipping and receiving. It's great that we can see prices, past orders, and write as much information for requested products as we want. It's also good for ordering directly through Quartzy.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

Sometimes we don't order directly from the Quartzy website since we get special price quotes through our organization. However, they still put the item into my cart (even if I just want to request it so that our purchasing manager knows to buy it himself). It's not a big issue, just not neccessary.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

I'd definitely recommend Quartzy if you're managing or participating in ordering for your lab/team.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quartzy has definitely allowed my lab to streamline purchasing. It's also allowed us to easily re-request items that we've purchased before conveniently through an online website that anyone can access. It's easy for new members to also be added into the system as well. Overall, it's just a very convenient and easy way to manage purchasing and inventory.

  ### 10. Quick and efficient way to organize your lab and habdle order

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** stéphanie O. | Assistant Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

Quartzy is just quick and easy. we have entered all of our lab inventory from the start. every time somebody in the lab has a need or if we are running low, they search the product online or directly from the quartzy shop (,which is excellent to find the best price!). they submit their request and then I have approval right for it. if approved, I can order directly through the website as we have set up a standing purchase order with them. if it is not an order through he quartzy shop, we can print the purchase request corresponding to our institution and department. this is a personalized feature! When the items arrive, we can just click received and add the location where it will be stored in the lab.
RESULT: All our inventory and request are centralized. We also order through quartzy and it is quick and can compare prices of a wide range of product.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

nothing! really, everything is great! N.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

Don't hesitate!I would say that this is an easy step to take. It is free to use. it might take a little time to enter your inventory but the quartzy team can help with that. it will save you time by having your team request what they need and prefilled the order. then it is already prefilled to enter the item in your inventory! Here is the process we went through: we have entered all of our lab inventory from the start. every time somebody in the lab has a need or if we are running low, they search the product online or directly from the quartzy shop (,which is excellent to find the best price!). they submit their request and then I have approval right for it. if approved, I can order directly through the website as we have set up a standing purchase order with them. if it is not an order through he quartzy shop, we can print the purchase request corresponding to our institution and department. this is a personalized feature! When the items arrive, we can just click received and add the location where it will be stored in the lab.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we have gain time and money with free shipping.

  ### 11. Great order management website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghan K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

In the large lab I am in, we have 2 locations and 5 different rooms to stock. As the secondary lab manager, I appreciate that everyone in the lab is able to order the exact item they need and can request to restock an item that is running low.
I also really like how, if an item is ordered from the Quartzy warehouse, representatives will contact you to follow up on delayed or discontinued items.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

Most things are great, but manually adding items should not have to go through the search first. Could be easier and more streamlined if there was a button to order and have it search as th item number is typing in the manual request.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

Definitely worth it to get used to using for labs or other organizations with more than five people on staff. Everyone can find, review, and order what they need, no matter if a team leader is present. A simple approval process allows simplicity for leaders and simplicity for team members.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Large lab ordering problems are being solved as many items are consumed quickly. We have realized many benefits

  ### 12. Efficient and easy to use but inventory looks for improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

I like the layout and ease of the platform. Everything is intuitive and the ease of checkout is great. The emailed invoices help with accounting and creating a more organized system of checks and balances. The simplicity of checking out items sourced through Quartzy is also very easy. The ability to have request from different employees also keeps tabs on who needs items and when they need them. Even though our company does not use it too often, I do see the helpfulness in having equivalent items/ same items that can be sourced through Quartzy and the "ask a scientist" button which gives you a better review of options for the items you may source through another vendor.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

I dislike the inventory system because it feels a bit all over the place and not easy to use. The "received/inventory" tab should work hand in hand but I think it is a bit repetitive and not as easy as I would like it. There are some positives with the inventory system, overall it just needs to be more easy to use. One of my other main dislikes which is being worked on by Quartzy, is that there is no option to expedite shipping or any other shipping option except the one provided.

Tracking down invoices is also sometimes hard because there are multiple invoices per 1 order which is a bit difficult when you are trying to enter information for accounting. I believe a more precise approach would be 1 invoice for the whole order but that is not always feasible. We also sometimes get a separate charge for shipping/ handling only which I believe could be consolidated on one charge.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

It is a great and easy to use tool for laboratory ordering. I would recommend something else for inventory purposes until they fix their systems. The interface is a easy to navigate screen. I also enjoy the emailed invoices for accounting purposes and record keeping. If you are considering Quartzy, I would highly recommend it from the ease of service and ability to ship from multiple vendors in one space.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quartzy is impacted our work by creating an efficient and accountable ordering system for our lab. The benefits I see are in the detailed invoices and ease of use on the system. We have solved the multiple website ordering with Quartzy because we are able to consolidate everything through the Quartzy system.

The benefits of Quartzy stems from its ease and detail. We benefit greatly from the accountability it gives us and the great communication from Quartzy support. It is easy to shop and see items that are specifically sourced through Quartzy and items that are not. Although, we still prefer some items that are not sourced directly through Quartzy we appreciate the fact that there are equivalent items that can be found.

  ### 13. Great way to control and track lab purchases

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

I set up an Quartzy account for our small biotechnology business 4 years ago. Since then, we have reliably used QZ to track purchases, make an approval flow, create spend categories based on internal funding sources and supply type and to control users. We have recently added some ordering through the QZ shop. Freeware couldn't get any more useful.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

Ordering supplies through QZ comes with the risk of a slow-down in the speed at which things arrive compared to ordering direct from vendor. It's best used for non-urgent supplies. Introducing a third party also increases the chances of purchasing errors.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A benefit of ordering through QZ is that a small business like ours does not have to set up a discount supply agreement with some less-used vendors. We can rely on QZ pricing. The largest benefits come in having a well-organized, searchable purchasing record and the means to get data into Quickbooks or use of budgeting purposes. I love the approval chain feature on purchase requests, too.

  ### 14. Quartzy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

I love how easy it is to add things whether it's to purchase or to add to inventory. It's also great that Quartzy sends email updates.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

Information doesn't transfer over. For example, if you have documents attached to an item and you mark the item as received then you'll have to re-add those documents to the item again

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing how we purchase and our entire purchasing process. It's a lot more organized and easier to maintain the information that is needed

  ### 15. very easy to use & keeps the lab organized!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allie C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

I like that it a way to keep all requests & inventory items in one place. That way you can see if someone else already requested an item you need before ordering double the amount

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

The only downside is that not all items will show up using the quick search with a catalog number, and you will end up having to enter it in manually

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made the lab more efficient with ordering and keeping up with reagents.

  ### 16. Great way to streamline lab ordering/organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pin-Joe K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

Quartzy checks for similar items in the shop

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

Delivery times are a little inaccurate and shipping costs are not calculated until the end.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of inventory is much easier with Quartzy.

  ### 17. Great Tool for Small Lab

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

This has been a lifesaver in keeping orders all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

I would like the inventory feature to be more robust, such as being able to track items out as easy as in.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At first we were using email to request items in labs. Quartzy has been a great way of keeping request in one place and keeping them from getting lost in inboxes.

  ### 18. Great way to organize and find good deals on products

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

I like the clean interface and the ability to look up previously purchased items. It makes re-ordering very simple. Additionally, Quartzy often finds similar products for considerably cheaper than what I was going to pay

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

I don't like that the handling fees for shipping are hidden until checkout. There are times I'm about to order something when I find the handling fees can cost almost as much as the item

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of the last time something was ordered is helpful, and I can easily re-order the exact product again without having to search for it again.

  ### 19. No Support

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paula S. | Chemist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

The only positive thing I can about Quartzy is that it is free. There is absolutely nothing else positive about Quartzy.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

There is no support. When questions are asked, the standard reply is "would you like a demonstration." When confronted with direct questions, they either refuse to answer or provide gibberish for answers. I honestly believe Quartzy is being run by just a few individuals who really have no comprehension about laboratory inventory systems. If you call for support, no one is ever available ("unfortunarely no one is available to take your call..."). If you "chat" with them, it takes a few hours for someone to actually come on line.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

Do not even bother. A complete waste of time if you actually need inventory tracking that is compliant with any regulatory agency.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only thing I can say is Quartzy SOMEWHAT reduces reliance upon excel for inventory. Quartzy has often created more issues than it solves. I would not be so negative if it wasn't for the "Quartzy Experts" providing incorrect or uneducated information or complete refusal to assist or answer questions.

**Official Response from Derek Gregg:**

> Hi Paula - We truly appreciate your thoughtful feedback about Quartzy and look forward to replying to some of your concerns and working to answer specific questions with you directly.

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

The ease to manage lab orders within the group (especially with the large group)

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

Searching for reagents/supplies that have short names

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made searching for reagents so much easy, once its in the system finding the information is so easy and it saves a lot of time, especially if the order was placed by a different lab member
. Also for a lot of products ordering through quartzy saves time and money

  ### 21. Everything a Small Research Lab Could Need

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

There is really nothing that I dislike about Quartzy. I would love if they could add an SDS management feature.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization, Retrieval, Inventory

  ### 22. They are very efficient in placing orders, and solving problems related to online orders.

It is very simple and fast. They keep me updated whenever there is a problem with my orders, such as back order.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

I can not think of any downside of Quartzy.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Of course I save whenever I order from Quartzy. I also save time. Whenever I can not find invoices, and I request for one, they respond very fast.

  ### 23. Quartzy Streamlines Ordering

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

Multiple users can be added to a single lab

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

some mismatches with company ref vs quartzy

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy of inventory requests

  ### 24. Quartzy is straightforward to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy K. | Formulation Scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

Quartzy makes it easy to submit purchase requests without too much red tape

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

I wish quartzy’s interface for automatically filling in information for previously ordered items were better

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quartzy keeps our purchasing department running smoothly and has reduced the time it takes to get items ordered

  ### 25. Lab ordering and inventory tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

It makes it so easy to find products and place orders. It can also be used to keep an inventory/database of stocks in the lab - plasmids, chemicals, antibodies, etc.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

While you CAN use it to keep a database of constructs made in the lab or antibodies and the conditions at which to use them, it requires a lot of customization, that at first glance, isn't even clear that it exists.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The lab first started using it just as a way to tell our lab manager what needs to be ordered. And its great for that. But, as we continue to explore it more, we've realized how much more it can do. And it's free!

  ### 26. Organization made simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

Lab members are able to request products without having to email me all the details, instead they fill out the form themselves and it helps keep track of inventory. It's also great that I can mark a product as "ordered" and they automatically get notified, keeps everyone in the loop without the hassle of back and forth emails.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

There's a few different channels/groups that can be created and I didn't realize that until a few months later. Our lab doesn't personally benefit from this, but I don't mind it since it doesn't interfere with our use of the program.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

Can't go wrong, amazing customer support without spamming your inbox. It's evident they are genuinely interested in helping make your life easier.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency, organization, overall adds a level of simplicity to our lab which is always running at a million miles per hour

  ### 27. Very useful lab ordering software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate S. | Lab Manager - Boston Children's Hospital / Harvard Medical School, Biotechnology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

It's very easy for all members of the lab to quickly upload items they need me (the lab manager) to order

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

It's pushes items sourced directly from Quartzy which is annoying because I usually order through a procurement software, we rely on Quartzy just for organizational needs.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Quartzy to keep our lab orders organized instead of manual entering everything into a spreadsheet. We can share what we need/want on Quartzy, mark it ordered and track when it is received.

  ### 28. Quartzy for Laboratory Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria F. | Research Assistant, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

Customer Support communication from the Quartzy, introductory videos to getting started with it, and inviting labmates to join on Quartzy.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

There is not much that I do not dislike, perhaps adding more categories to help specify group inventory more.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

When utilizing the group inventory feature, rate the product! It helps to see what lab members of a large group think about certain ELISA kits, reagents, materials, especially if you are unable to hold biweekly meetings in between data collection and labs. There is always a better product out there and this simple rating feature helps with future budgeting without having to call the person up and ask how their experience was!

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Academia - laboratory budgeting and inventory with research (R01) universities.

  ### 29. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

Makes it so easy to purchase items and organize inventory.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

I don't like that when putting in a request, it tries to change the item you are putting in with their recommended item that is in their own inventory.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

Get it! It makes keeping track of supplies and inventory so easy.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes it so easy to organize our lab and keep track of how much and what we are purchasing.

  ### 30. Qwarty for the win!

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

This program is amazing and it’s free which is a great benefit for those who don’t have software funds.
It’s user friendly for all levels
Provided you were spending summaries so you can monitor cost
It tracks and stores all items purchased for easy access in the future
Everyone in the lab can see what’s ordered so no need for duplication

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

Nothing to be honest. I’m in love with this program! It’s changed the way we order in our lab.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I place orders for several scientists in the lab. It eliminates the need for them to fill my inbox and risk not getting their orders placed. This notifies me there is an order and them once I’ve placed it. They can track, leave notes and see who has checked there items in. There’s no question about whether the correct items have been ordered because all that info is provided.

  ### 31. Best lab management software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

Its easier to place the order request. They also provide you the alternative, cheaper options of the similar or even the same product from a different source. You can track the status of your order.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

Sometimes I notice that when I place an order request on quartzy and select the better option/offer which quartzy provides me. But, the final reagent which my lab manager orders is the same which I initially add on quartzy and not the second one which I selected.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a researcher, I regularly use Quartzy to order my reagents. I think its user-friendly and very helpful lab management app.

  ### 32. Free, Easy to Use/Implement and Great Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Nanotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

It is a lifesaver for keeping track of our chemical inventory and orders. I like how you can directly add from the received to your inventory. Additionally, Quartzy customer service is very good if there are issues and respond quickly. I also like that they know what they are about. They had a calendar app that was terrible and got rid of it because Quartzy is about managing inventory, not a calendar app.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

The item "Exact Match" recommendations are sometimes not accurate. Once in a while there are issues with the item descriptions when searching for items through Quartzy itself. I find its better to look up the item through the vendor websites rather than through quartzy.

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

Quartzy is great for keeping track of our lab inventory, request and orders. The product matching and search through Quartzy isn't perfect yet, so I will be looking up products on the vendor websites separately (like fisher) until they improve it. Quartzy is good enough otherwise, though, to stick with them while they are making minor tweaks.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chemical Inventory. It is great for this and made lab inspection day so much faster and easier than normal.

  ### 33. An easy and efficient system for lab management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

What I like most about Quartzy is how easy it makes it to streamline ordering and managing lab inventory for all members of my lab in a centralized way.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

The only drawback I have found with Quartzy is that it is a little confusing with regard to its own role as a third-party supplier. There are multiple ways to pay through Quartzy when you accept a quote for a product similar to one requested in your lab, but these ways are not obvious. If you search for how to pay through Quartzy, there is a page that shows you different options, but I still had to email a Quartzy rep for help even after reading this page. The first time I accepted a Quartzy quote, I did not submit my PO in the way they required (because I was not aware of this requirement, and did it through my own company's platform) and I received no notification that this was a problem. It was only weeks later when I realized something was the matter because my product had not yet arrived. Additionally, products ordered with Quartzy as the supplier tend to arrive more slowly, perhaps simply because it is the third-party supplier. But I still like the site a lot and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to manage a lab, I just think some more active notification/information from Quartzy would be great!

**Recommendations to others considering Quartzy:**

Make sure you read up on how to pay when accepting Quartzy quotes! Additionally, it will be most beneficial to you if everyone in your lab/cohort submits requests but only one person actually orders through your company's ordering system. This will make sure the correct person is on top of ordering/finances, but everyone still is kept up to date on the order status of products they have requested via the Quartzy email notifications.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quartzy as a way to streamline ordering within my lab, as it allows each lab member to submit requests whenever they like, and then I can order everything and keep track of all of our spending/track shipments/contact companies/manage inventory. Before using Quartzy, this process was much more disorganized. Quartzy is a great central platform and makes keeping track of everything much easier.

  ### 34. Streamlines communication, provides transparency at all steps of lab ordering

Quartzy provides an intuitive and easy to implement solution to the headache that is laboratory inventory management and materials acquisition.

**What do you dislike about Quartzy?**

I wish that there were a way to better keep track of the materials after they’ve been marked as received and catalogued into the inventory. Oftentimes it will show more in stock than is actually present.

**What problems is Quartzy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My laboratory is able to better communicate what we have, what we neee, and the step at which the product acquisition is at.

**What do you like best about Quartzy?**

The convenience and tracking features make Quartzy very friendly.
