We worked with Quartile for about 10 months and liked the quick onboarding and bi-weekly status updates. Unfortunately we didn't see any improvement in results in our Amazon business. Our company started working with Quartile in March 2024, optimistic that their services would help drive growth for our Amazon product sales. We had bi-weekly check-ins with an account manager, expecting results. Unfortunately, our experience with Quartile fell far short of expectations. Throughout 2024, our Amazon product sales stayed completely flat month-to-month. Compared to 2023, there was literally zero improvement in revenue. Despite the ongoing stagnation, Quartile did not offer any actionable strategies or meaningful insights to move the needle. After months of lackluster results and no return on our investment, we decided to cancel our service. Here’s where things got even worse: We canceled a full week before the start of the next billing cycle, assuming this would end our partnership cleanly. Instead, Quartile informed us of their 30-day notice requirement hidden in the fine print of their contract. This policy meant we were charged for an additional month of service—despite the fact that no services were rendered, nor were they needed. Quartile refused to negotiate or make exceptions, citing "policy" as the reason. This rigid and customer-unfriendly approach adds insult to injury for a service that failed to deliver results in the first place. To anyone considering Quartile: \* Be prepared to comb through their fine print, as their policies will penalize you even if their services don’t work as promised. \* Don’t expect flexibility or fairness if you decide to cancel. \* In our experience, you could end up paying for absolutely nothing. I wouldn’t recommend Quartile to anyone serious about improving their business. Edit 11/2023: I left Quartile after almost 5 years of using their software, 4 years directly, and a year prior via an agency. I feel a huge sense of relief to be done with them. De-coupling from their software and their bloated middle management layers was a huge burden and took over a month. Original Review 3/2021: I've been working with Quartile for over a year. My account manager and his team and very responsive to requests, extremely professional and always prepared with insights on how to improve results. What do you dislike about Quartile? Edit 11/2023: TL;DR - take a look for yourself at my KPIs with Quartile and the new agency I replaced them with: final month w/ Quartile before switch: ACoS: 30.3% TACoS: 21.7% % Organic Sales: 28.5% 3 weeks after leaving Quartile (with minimal optimizations and we're not done yet): ACoS: 25.7% TACoS: 15.2% % Organic Sales: 40.9% Revenue levels stayed the same, only 5% decrease in revenue. Dislike everything at this point. Their billing never improved, have to nag the billing manager not to incorrectly charge my account in advance or to ask for a refund on incorrect charges that take ages to resolve. Much more importantly, their campaign structure and strategy sucks so bad, it pains me to calculate the lost sales and profit over the last 1.5 years from their ads de-ranking us on top keywords, and from the bloated campaigns leaking tens of thousands of dollars. They were more interested this last year on selling me new platforms and services, than actually coming to me with solutions on how to fix the existing campaigns that didn't work well. Classic example of a company that grew too fast, hired too many people at once, and created so much middle management bloat and poor internal communication that eventually their customers caught onto it and are leaving fast. Original Review 3/2021: I had a billing issue that took a while to resolve, related to the DSP service. The DSP team was not helpful, however, my account manager for Amazon ads eventually resolved it successfully, it took 3 months in total. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Quartile solving and how is that benefiting you? Edit 11/2023: Outdated strategy that became obsolete with the algorithm updates in late 2022. Unfortunately, many sellers have not yet caught onto this, as Quartile is exceptional at spending 90% of your ad budget on product targeting ads which do nothing to help your organic rank but will get you sales at high cost. So you can see your sales go up, at the expense (huge) of your profit, and long-term organic search rank for top keywords, which in turn will make your business growth unsustainable. Their software essentially makes your business into a pay to play vending machine with slim to non-existent margin. Their AI tools are a black box, you will never have any input on keywords to target, bid optimizations and placements, and their strategies on these will deplete your bank accounts. Their account managers are great at giing you excel reports with performance, but nothing on how to move the needle in the right direct and affect the performance. Their end-user tool is clunky and looks like it's from 2010. Original review 3/2021: Staying competitive in the ad space and in our industry / niche. Increasing organic sales via increasingexposure. Super SCAM! They set up your expectations and DO NOT DELIVER. I showed them various examples where they did not do the tasks that were agreed upon and they still wanted to keep me in the contract, even after their account rep said they are no longer working the account. Be very careful! If you want to hear my personal experience please feel free to reach out to me and I can show you exact examples of how they have dropped the ball over and over again. Nothing really. I had an unpleasant experience with the company. Nothing was consistent at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Quartile? They simply did not perform. In the first month we spent a few thousand extra outside of amazon to help jump start numbers and can attribute most of the growth to this using amazon attribution tags. Then, sales continued to drop and ROAS continued to drop too in the following months. When I went to cancel, I was billed an extra month. They went radio silent. I had to dispute the charge. Reading the forums, I am not the only one that had this experience. Next time, I will go with a more established agency without so many language barriers (none of the account reps speak English as a first language unfortunately). 2/10. What do you dislike about Quartile? - Account Managers will say anything to save their own butt - Their AI Bidding algorithm stinks (It creates hundreds of campaigns with single keyword targets) - Our Goals were to scale the Amazon PPC account at a profitable ACOS - They spend our whole budget on "branded" company keywords.
