Its uses auto-learning and behavioral analysis to establish baselines for legitimate traffic, and automatically detects and blocks traffic behavior that does not conform SSL decryptor card comes by default with appliance and incase SSL decryption need to enable it license needs to be purchased, and devices is ready for SSL decryption Its asymmetric deployment with challenge/response mechanism has lower latency & higher capacity to block SSL/TLS attacks It uses behavioral technology & real-time signature creation to protect against L3-7 DDoS attacks It offers behavior-based protection with automatic signature creation against unknown, zero-day DDoS attacks Support for wildcard certificates reduces operation complexity as admin don’t have to update us every time a certificate changes. It does not provide the capability to upload data that need to be Blacklisted/Whitelisted in cases where the bulk of IP address needs to be Blacklisted/Whitelisted on the DDOS appliance. Either a single IP address has to be added or needs to be done using a script It does not provide default server grouping such as default policy can be be enabled on Web or application Server IP's Dashboard is complicated Does not provide real-time traffic detail it only provides logs for blocked traffic. Recommendations to others considering Quantum DDoS Protector: CheckPoint has tied up with Radware in providing DDOS Services it does not have it own appliance the DDOS appliance has all the capability to mitigate the next generation of DDOS attacks, but it has weak in reporting and admin console. Check Point DDos Protector is undoubtedly one of the best anti-DDos software available on the market and stands out from other competing software because it uses a hybrid of local and cloud-based dedicated resources to defend against attacks DDoS, one of the features that I like most about this great software is that it has a really very intuitive and versatile interface that makes it easy to use and easy to configure, which has a multilayer system that extends the security perimeters against attacks DDoS, which gives me the possibility to create personalized reports with all the information of the possible attack in real time and as if that were not enough, that the cost of their plans is very affordable since it will depend on the needs of each company and by thus vary the price of the plans. So far I do not find any negative characteristics that I should complain about since in general terms the software has worked excellently. On one occasion I had a small inconvenience with the user interface but the technical support team solved it almost immediately since it is highly qualified for it. Recommendations to others considering Quantum DDoS Protector: I fully recommend its use as it is one of the best alternatives to detect, block and prevent DDoS attacks in a very simple way. Since we started implementing Checkpoint DDoS protector in our company, we are much calmer, since being a software company we are very excited to be attacked and a well orchestrated denial of service affects productivity, customer service, reputation and income. But, with its implementation, we don't have to worry about it because it helps us contain the threat, minimize losses and return to business as if nothing had happened.
