That helps us implement the solution in a hybrid model, as we are scanning the assets in DC via using the scanner and endpoints like laptop/Desktop using cloud agent. Other than that, it also allows you to perform CIS benchmarking assessments without needing a separate license. That helps us to save the cost. ### 41. Depending upon modules licensed, you can manage asset vulnerabilities throughout the complete vulnerability lifecycle. When subscribed to Patch Manager, you can instantly patch discovered vulnerabilities in a small number of clicks. **What do you dislike about Qualys VMDR?** Because a lot of modules need to be licensed to provide comprehensive management, licensing costs can build up and licensing the entire product suite can become expensive. Moreover, the product becomes less effective if not all modules are licensed. The real value of the product comes from tying asset management to vulnerability management and to patching / remediation. **What problems is Qualys VMDR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to implementing qualys, our vulnerability management had been siloed and solely managed via point-in-time scans by third party vendors.
