Recommendations to others considering Qualys VM:

A best qualitative tool to manage vulnerabilities in IT systems for any organisation, saves peer pressure and time for bug fixing and many other issues, some things could have been improved like test false positive cases are not updated in knowledge base soon, so that could be scratch to head in some cases, other than that a very good and worthy product to be procured for the organisation or personnel. What problems is Qualys VM solving and how is that benefiting you?

its one of the best tool for vulnerability management, its helpful in identifying and solving issues in network devices for our clients operations. Its self descriptive reports that are generated are quite beneficial to me so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Qualys VM?

Qualys is very helpful to scan all the assets in our environment which performs both external and internal scans. It will identify vulnerability and it will help us to provide the solution to mitigate the vulnerability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualys VM?

Raising case with Qulays via customer support sucks a lot. It will take too much time just to debug the scanner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Qualys VM?

Qualys does a good job of identifying vulnerabilities. However, identifying fixes is lacking at times. Imagine going through 20+ patches to determine which one is the one that is missing and you have the issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualys VM?

Support likes pointing to documents then passing the ticket around for more documents instead of waling through the issue to resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Qualys VM?

Qualys scans entirely network such as Servers, routers, and switches. It does a discovery scan to find new assets in the network. It also provides asset tagging which helps to segregate the scans for different schedules. Even we have an option to purge the vulnerabilities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qualys VM?

Qualys support is not prompt. It takes a long time to respond to false positive related vulnerabilities. It takes time to update their knowledge base. Only ten concurrent scans we can keep Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
