Great tool, very flexible and knowledgeable team aiming to think together with the customer and provide value added solutions.
Continuously evolving product. The challenge you may encounter is  to make your organisation to use Quality Clouds to its full potential, but not with the tool/service.

Understanding where are the risks, what to tackle first , quality of the code pushed to production.

**What do you like best about Quality Clouds for ServiceNow?**

The interface which gives great level of detail around the issues (categorised appropriately), customisations, best practice violations, and pin points who has been at fault. The Live check feature helps the developers immensely. It has led to significant savings of effort before and post upgrades.

**What do you dislike about Quality Clouds for ServiceNow?**

I would like the ability to drill down further from the browser based interface itself and link customisations identified to story requirements in future. It isn't extremely important, just a desire to get more.

**Recommendations to others considering Quality Clouds for ServiceNow:**

If you need a third party to keep an active vigil and control over your ServiceNow platform, QualityClouds helps you do that. There are things which peer reviews and experienced eyes can miss, which QualityClouds can easily identify and link it to a best practice. Besides, QualityClouds keep adding to their repository of best practices, which means keeping pace with new, be it upgrades or a best practice, is delegated better to QualityClouds. End result, upgrades are cheaper and faster.

**What problems is Quality Clouds for ServiceNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Code quality - performance and security addressed, sticking to OOTB therefore reduced effort during upgrades or on-boarding new feature set, and finally happy customers

**What do you like best about Quality Clouds for ServiceNow?**

QualityClouds allows us to quickly estimate our tech debt, and allows us to maintain code standards with our internal development teams as well as with third parties we allow onto our platform. The tool also gives us early insight into upgrade issues that we may face and allows us to plan these in nice and early in our backlog to ensure we have a seamless upgrade experience.

**What do you dislike about Quality Clouds for ServiceNow?**

Sometimes QualityClouds isn't intuitive and it we need to refer to the documentation to complete what we need to.

**Recommendations to others considering Quality Clouds for ServiceNow:**

Make sure you have a ServiceNow tech resource available to amend the rulesets in use to be appropriate to your organisation from the outset.

**What problems is Quality Clouds for ServiceNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're not solving problems with the tool, we're preventing them happening in the first place by allowing our developers to make use of the Live Check tool within QualityClouds.

**What do you like best about Quality Clouds for ServiceNow?**

The product provides a comprehensive set of tools for profiling, analyzing and managing the quality of your cloud deployment. The remote delivery with no software required to be installed on your cloud environment is a great feature.

**What do you dislike about Quality Clouds for ServiceNow?**

The only downside we have identified is that the portal can sometimes be a little slow, and hard to read on a mobile.

**Recommendations to others considering Quality Clouds for ServiceNow:**

Don't be fooled into thinking that ServiceNow's own reporting is as good as QualityClouds. QualityClouds is far superior and the live check feature stops bad practice and technical debt accumulation before they happen.

**What problems is Quality Clouds for ServiceNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of improving the quality of the code being developed by our staff (live check) and reducing the legacy technical debt in customer platforms to improve upgradability and reduce TCO.

The Live Check capability allowing your developers to control their code while developing, a great tool to enhance their skills and reduce issues on the platform.

Looking forward to leverage a JIRA integration, that would allow us to create JIRA bugs for best practices breaches

If you are not convinced, just contact the guys at Quality Clouds and request the software for an evaluation period, it is the best way to fully understand the benefits of this solution.

Quality Clouds drastically reduced our technical debt in our instances by allowing to pinpoint the area of customisations and revert back to OOTB

automatic scheduled to analyse pour servicenow instance, and capability to explore quality results with dashboard. This give a clear understanding where potential improvment are required, what deviation do we have, and what could be the action plan to fix it.
Live-check used by my team members are very usefull, they can learn best practices by observing the qualitycloud results
I appreciate the capability to activate or not quality rules.

**What do you dislike about Quality Clouds for ServiceNow?**

Not possible to obtain KPI's of live-checked usage by team members. This KPI could be helpfull to measure QualityClouds adoption

first time tealm is using the quality cloud results, their is too much checked rules, and some rules are not always appropriate. Could be great to consider the maturity of the team, and provide 3 to 5  team maturity profiles, and be able to adjust the set of cheked rules, based on team maturity. this could help to ease the adoption by team member.

**What problems is Quality Clouds for ServiceNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of ServiceNow expertise in my team, Technical debt trend, identify OOB component impacted to study the upgrade.  Can justify team size, based on CE impacted per each release

QC helps us to deliver the best code on Service Now, allows managers and execs to understand what is at stake. Huge accelerator and cost cuts for major version upgrades.

**What do you dislike about Quality Clouds for ServiceNow?**

We have been using Quality Clouds for two years and QC team has been very responsive to our improvement requests.
Hard controls (enforcement to fix for example) is not available.

**What problems is Quality Clouds for ServiceNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Quality of service improvement : code delivered is good and supports junior developers to improve by them selves
- Avoid regressions : controls avoid performance, security and functional issues in production
- Accelerate our Major upgrades: when migrating we focus on alerts from QC, saving time of impact analysis and fixing.

- Easy compliance with GDPR and other requirements
- Pinpoint code discrepancies with ease
- Automatic detection of failed jobs
- User and platform adoption metrics
- Ad-hoc health checks, or baseline checks before major changes or new projects
- Ablity to expand the built-in rules with own best practices
