**What do you like best about Qualaroo?**

We can throw up a survey in minutes without messing with a bunch of settings, which is great when we need quick feedback. The targeting options are solid too (we can ask the right people the right questions instead of blasting everyone).

The integrations work well; having more direct options for CRMs would make it even better.

Before qualaroo, we relied on email surveys, which barely got responses. Now, we collect feedback directly on our site when customers are actually engaged.

Being able to get feedback from customers while they’re actually on our site is a huge win. No more hoping they’ll respond to an email later. The reports are easy to understand (we’re not wasting time trying to make sense of data). And the pricing? Super flexible, big deal when you’re working with a tight budget.

Would be nice if there were more customization options for the survey design. Also, while the tool is intuitive, having a bit more support for first-time users. maybe a built-in tutorial?

Before qualaroo, we had no structured way of collecting feedback on specific pages. Now, we get real-time insights and make immediate improvements. There’s already an increase in engagement and conversions.

**What do you like best about Qualaroo?**

I love Qualaroo's advanced targeting features. With Qualaroo, I can target specific users with my surveys and questions, ensuring I'm getting feedback from the most relevant people. This has helped us to get much more actionable feedback from my users, which has led to significant improvements in my website, product, and service.

**What do you dislike about Qualaroo?**

Not something I dislike, but I wanted to make a point that if you’re looking for an on-premise version, this may not be for you.

Qualaroo is solving the problem of getting feedback from the right people. In the past, we would send out surveys to everyone on our email list and receive feedback from people who weren't relevant to our business. With Qualaroo, things are different now.

that they dare to close my case even though they do not help me at all.

information given before purchasing my plan was very misleading. for example, the survey function wasn't working on mobile actually but their website doesn't mention this. you only get to learn this when you purchase and can't add pop-up to your mobile website. The next thing is that this pop-up was still with a watermark even after we paid to remove that. I had to talk endlessly with the support agent to have them remove that. The other thing is that the pop-up was showing on top of the page, even though we arranged it to be on the bottom. there were other problems with it as well. I reached out to the support agents for every problem and realized that the problems would continue in the future and asked for a refund. They told me to wait and that they will fix it. 2 months later, I missed my cancellation period, and the tool still wasn't working properly. Every time I asked for a refund, they told me they would look into it and I should wait. After some time, they stopped replying altogether and I've been waiting to hear back from them since 3 October. Today is 5th December. No refund, no solution, and they have the audacity to send me an email, asking how satisfied I am. How can I be satisfied when I paid 200$ for a tool I wasnt even able to use once due to technical problems? I have emailed lots of times about this problem, even left at least 3 messages on their website explaining the problem but they never got back to me. I do not recommend them at all.

We can just ask our customers in-the-moment and get true insights on what bothers them and what they need help with.

Although the current templates are very helpful, I would like to see them categorized for ease of use.

We needed a tool that can help us collect deep insights and not just basic ‘how satisfied are you…’ type of feedback. Now, we can trigger a survey at crucial touchpoints and get a pulse of the customers at that specific point.

We know how important NPS metric is so that why we wanted to track our score. We used Qualroo’s NPS template for the same and customized it as per our branding. Before we used to conduct this survey by sending links so the response rate was disheartening. This time, we were surprised of how many responses we got the survey was on our website and mobile app and just took a click for customers to take the survey.

Qualaroo has everything we were looking for in a survey tool. A no-code builder, AI-based sentiment analysis engine, text analytics engine, and NPS chart. It has a fully-fledged survey responses dashboard to study each response and act on it.

I wish there were more options to export the data in different formats and a bulk action button in the survey dashboard.

It is one of the best tools to run NPS surveys. We can run NPS surveys on the website, email, and SMS. The dashboard automatically segments the respondents into detractors and passives. It also attaches the respondents’ metadata using the identity API call to help us reach out to them individually.

Built-in survey templates to create any survey type. You can target specific visitors using the in-built targeting. And automatic language translation is fantastic as we don’t need to create separate surveys for each language. The analytics dashboard is also very intuitive and easy to work with.

Nothing to dislike in particular. Qualaroo delivers what it promises.

Qualaroo provides insights to optimize our onboarding process. We found that new users struggled to find the desired settings, so we improved the product UI to include in-line tips and suggestions throughout the product. We have also started building our Knowledge base based on the suggestions left by our customers.

We host both website and app, so Qualaroo is a great addition to our toolkit to get a complete view of users’ experience. We can use surveys on both fronts and collect feedback under one screen. We also run in-app rating prompts to improve our app store ratings.

We want to see automated conversational SMS surveys to design an entire drip SMS survey campaign.

Mapping customer journeys across different channels and consolidating the data was a big challenge. Qualaroo helped us create customer journey maps that provide a complete view of how users behaved at different touchpoints. It also revealed which service points were most effective in providing optimal resolutions to customers’ queries.

Along with the quantitative insights we got from the NPS surveys from Qualaroo, we also wanted to dip our toes in the qualitative side of things. It was amazing how the sentiment analysis feature analyzed all the open-ended responses from our NPS follow-up and helped us understand how our customer felt towards our services.

While working with the tool, we liked how simple and complex it is at the same time. We were able to create simple, straightforward surveys and add complexity such as branching logic to them to increase our ability to go deep into the feedback when needed. 
Not to mention the amazing question templates, AI-powered IBM Watson Sentiment Analysis, Advanced targeting based on users’ actions, time, etc.

I believe the dashboard could use some updates.

The tool is effective in what it does. You can remove the Qualaroo branding from the Nudge survey and add your logo and brand colors to match it with your brand image. Another sweet feature of the tool is its ability to handle multiple surveys at once without complicating anything.

While asking our customers about how they got to find out about us, whether they got what they were looking for, and more, we found a hidden gem in the feedback, we would never have guessed otherwise. 
We explored multiple user personas that we thought were not on our target radar, but guess what? We were wrong. Now, with some effective marketing strategies, we are bringing those potential customers aboard.

We appreciate the Nudge pop-up feature for conducting real-time surveys. Apart from this, we used templates to create surveys and also tried open-ended questions to gather free-form feedback.  Sentiment Analysis was the star of the show since it very clearly highlighted what customers think about our services from the free-form answers.

It immediately eliminates the pressure of coming up with the right questions when you do not have experience in creating questionnaires. The Nudge feature, advanced targeting, and branching logic were some of the features we use frequently.

We were getting quite random answers because our surveys weren’t reaching the intended users all the time. We fixed that with some great targeting options we found in their software.

**What do you dislike about Qualaroo?**

The visuals on the dashboard blend into each other because of the blue-grey color palette. This makes it a little hard if you want to refer to the figures back and forth from other software because they all seem very similar.

**Recommendations to others considering Qualaroo:**

Go for it if you want accurate targeting of your surveys. We suggest going deep into their targeting options to really get the surveys served to the people you need answers from.

**What problems is Qualaroo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to target exactly the demographic we want is something we have tried to find in two other survey software before we found Qualaroo. Our surveys for gathering product feedback needed to be delivered according to the feature page that the user was on, and by choosing our subdomains for various surveys we could do that. The responses help us address user concerns.

The templates for the surveys came in pretty handy. We took the white labeling option and the nudges blended well

We wanted to go the whole hog and change up the nudge design (shape) but that was not an option, we could only place it in different areas of our page...so maybe theycould look into that

We needed feedback that reduced bounce. A lot of people were leaving after hangingaround for over a minute, which meant something was missing in the homepage and afew other product pages. Once we got the nudges up, we asked everyone after fifteen seconds of lingering to tell us what they were looking for & fixed the issue page by page.The bounce rate has gone down considerably in the preceding months and into the bargain, we got more than a few additional pieces of advice from more forthcoming
customers.

Qualaroo is best suited for surveys where you know which visitors you want to query.

Qualaroo lacks some variety in terms of the visual appearance of their ‘nudge’.

I used it to collect feedback from those website visitors who were spending too much time on my home page, scrolling through it but not hovering or clicking on any of the CTAs. I integrated Qualaroo with FullStory and parsed all the recordings to discover the lack of attention catching CTAs. So I moved my CTAs to the sides rather than down the middle (between the copy). The floating CTAs are already working better.

**What do you like best about Qualaroo?**

We use a lot of platforms for taking care of various aspects of our business, like salesforce for CRM and mailchimp for marketing campaigns, and a few smaller platforms. Qualaroo integrated well with these two main ones pretty seamlessly and got our feedback mechanism sorted out.

**What do you dislike about Qualaroo?**

We can;t put a finger on anything specifically, so we chose to give this question a pass.

**Recommendations to others considering Qualaroo:**

Make sure you really need the features you are getting, because it took us a couple of months to find out everything apart from the integrations. Finally, we called up our onboarding manager and she took us through the rest of the features we didn;t know about or couldn't figure out.

Mainly, we needed to align the customer responses with our sales and marketing teams as closely as possible, and this software cut down the time and associated lag considerably.

For me, it was the templates that made the process of creating surveys easy, because I hadn’t done anything like that before.

I would’ve loved to have some more options for the NPS template, and more follow up questions to choose from, too.

I’d say that because it’s such a small and almost cute nudge, most of my friends and close circle who I asked for opinions before making it live on the blog kind of liked it, so I recommend it too.

If we were nitpicking, it would be about the lack of color palettes for the surveys - there seem to be only 2.

We had our target demographic in mind while designing the different versions of our webpage, so we needed to A/B test and compare the versions as well as the variations we were considering within each version. We just set them up on select subdomains and ran the surveys!

The iOS & Android SDK helped us expand our services into the mobile platforms based on beta testers’ feedback.

The Sentiment Analysis package cost us a little extra, we would have liked it to be part of the paid plan we bought to get the Nudges going.

We were rolling out our product expansions for mobile platforms and needed light surveys that did not interfere with our running test code. Nudges proved to be almost zero-stress popups.

Use the customizability to ask your customers exactly what they want to see getting improved or fixed in your services. When you let customers respond freely instead of choosing from drop-downs or radio buttons, they really open up about what’s been troubling them, and then you can fix that

It took us a little time to understand the settings which were required for advanced targeting.

**What do you like best about Qualaroo?**

Customizable questions in the templates. We were able to make our questions very specific. The ability to place the quotations via the Nudge in context led to greater accuracy of responses.

**What do you dislike about Qualaroo?**

The default color scheme was quite muted...I personally like vibrant, bright colors, so I chose them from the palette option.

**What problems is Qualaroo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to reduce website bounce rates. When we put up the survey, the time on page increased, and visitors shared their reasons for leaving - it turned out that our visuals were not getting our product features across. We loaded new images with feature snippets and that got us more customers.

If you want to play around with some of their advanced survey settings, give the support a call unless you’ve done that sort of thing before. Else, we found it served our purpose pretty well with the templates that they have already created - we just put on our logo and colors and voila!

Haven’t had any troubles with setting up our survey, but it seems that there are many tweaks that can be done which will take some time to understand.

**What do you like best about Qualaroo?**

I love that Qualaroo integrates with GA so that we can capture UTM data alongside visitor feedback. The targeting settings are flexible enough to target who we really need to answer questions.

**What do you dislike about Qualaroo?**

The "logic" to survey questions is nonexistent, which can make creating surveys cumbersome. To add to it, it's impossible to visually re-order questions, which makes is EXTREMELY difficult to follow your survey questions if you missed on in the original creation.

**Recommendations to others considering Qualaroo:**

Qualaroo is a great tool and you get your bang for your buck. I'm not sure if there is another company out there that provides the same level of GA integration with a little better user interface. If there is, I'd recommend going with them. If not, Qualaroo will get the job done. Just go into creating a survey with patience and planning.

We're using Qualaroo to better understand our user's experience on our site and how we can improve it. It's brought a ton of insight to our organization.

**What do you like best about Qualaroo?**

Qualaroo allows me to gather pure and valuable data/insights from users in real time, that is, providing a platform for users to comment/respond about a particular topic while actively engaged with the product. I use Qualaroo for surveys, NPS, soliciting interviews and miscellaneous user feedback etc. Additionally the targeting capabilities come in handy for growth hacking and optimization.

**What do you dislike about Qualaroo?**

While very intuitive, there are a few minor tweaks I would make to some aspects of the UI, particularly in creating surveys/questionnaires etc, although none of which pose a significant problem for me.

**What problems is Qualaroo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Qualaroo to aid in growth hacking initiatives. It is helpful for gathering verbatims from users as they are engaging a particular feature. The data/analysis provided contribute to iterative decision making when testing new features, designs, copy etc.

**What do you like best about Qualaroo?**

I've used Qualaroo for NPS surveys. It's easy to implement and quickly setup targeted surveys. Qualaroo automatically detects the browser/OS, allows you to see the relevant information at a glance and allows exporting. 

Sharing the report with stakeholders is another convenient feature 

**What do you dislike about Qualaroo?**

Unless I'm missing something, I'm surprised Qualaroo doesn't calculate NPS for you. I had to export the results to a Google Sheet and calculate the NPS that way.

They also don't allow you to do much analysis through the web app. Although they allow you to segment on OS/Browser, you are unable to do so by the other attributes they have about the customer.

We use Qualaroo for Net Promoter Score surveys. This allows us to better understand customer sentiment.  We run these surveys on a quarterly basis. We use the scores overtime to deteremine how effective the previous quarter's efforts have been. We analyze the comments to understand the biggest opportunities and use this to help priortize.

Simple integration with tag management.  

**What do you dislike about Qualaroo?**

Pricing to value is limited.  The tool doesn't offer much that I couldn't get with an out of the box piece of javascript and a google form.   The integration with Marketo is, of course, an extra charge but I don't really want to use this kind of tool for lead capture anyway.

The product hasn't changed much since we implemented it.I'm actually a bit surprised at how "static" the tool seems to be.     

**What problems is Qualaroo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Surveying users to get feedback on interactions with our tools.  Mixing this qualitative data with the quant data that we get from Adobe Analytics helps us answer some of the critical "Whys" that come up in running a digital business.

- easy set up; can be implemented using Google Tag Manager so it doesn't require dev work
- lots of options for customization (adding your own logo, colors, adding a time delay to the pop-up, configuring surveys based on specific user actions on the site)
- let's the user easily skip questions
- great and quick support 

**What do you dislike about Qualaroo?**

- page speed; the javascript that gets significantly slowed our page performance down
- The data download feature is a little clumsy. The way the data is formatted is not easy to digest, needs a lot of extra formatting work/scrolling.

**What do you like best about Qualaroo?**

I like how easy it is to set up and launch surveys. It literally took us one day to set it up. I also like that customer support is very responsive and helpful - I always get my answers in the same day. 

**What do you dislike about Qualaroo?**

it's kind of expensive for the limits that are offered. The process of creating a survey can be quite repetitive as you have to make a lot of clicks for one change of flow - It would be great if they added tools to make these easier (e.g. something that allows you to redirect all the answers from one question to the same next question). The Style API documentation is not very detailed - it would be great for example if you have a catalog of each component with their corresponding IDs. Integration with Amplitude would be great too. 

**Recommendations to others considering Qualaroo:**

If you need a quick simple way of doing in product surveys and you don't want to bother your development team, Qualaroo is the way to go. You do need to have access to some tools like Google Tag Manager though.

We are currently using it for segmentation of our customer base - understand what our users use our product for. Up to now, we have had really good results with Qualaroo.

Qualaroo does not allow full survey customization. The formats of the survey are limited and do not allow for advanced skip logic and branching. Qualaroo's analysis of survey results are also limited.

Qualaroo is easy to setup, customize, deploy and analyze. Whenever we've ran into issues their dev team has been eager to jump on a call to resolve.

Surveys can't be dismissed from the screen without some extra work. Would be nice to offer this out of the box without having to do extra coding.

Simplicity of the tool and export capabilities make it a great tool. The ease of setting up and deploying a survey is great while also being able to drill into the individual responses make it great as well.

Not much really. I do think the tool is easy to use and helps our business learn from our customers.

The integration and support are fantastic. Even on the installation and testing process, Yotpo have been very professional and helpful. The API process is very strait forward and We're still finding more ways to take advantage of the application. But the best thing has to be their affordability.

So far so good. Our Magento site and Yotpo plugging has been flawless.

We were looking a good review system to separate the English version from the Spanish. But the high prices of the alternative available on the system we are using for the English site was not making possible an easy transition.
