"Qt Creator is my home"
What do you like best about Qt?

For me, the most killer feature of Qt Creator is that it its humble resource needs and lightning quick response. It never leaves me waiting for anything. It has consistently felt responsive and stable as long as I have been using it (5 years) .

Another important feature that Qt Creator has is that it's native and cross platform. This means that it does not need any bloaty VM to be installed such as .NET framework, Java VM or similar. When you install Qt Creator it is a statically linked C++ application built natively for your platform.

Qt Creator is tightly linked to the Qt framework and has many features built in to support Qt such as graphical UI designers, UI resource manager, 3D asset management, Internationalization manager, debugger integration with support for Qt native types. It also has a test harness built in and support forthe Qt spesific build systems (qmake and qbs). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qt?

I would love to see support for more languages out of the box. I know there are plugins and available customizations for this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"QT UI Development"
What do you like best about Qt?

Setup and initial project creation is seamless, user interaction with tool and menus is intuitive. The UI creation tool is really useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qt?

There are some challenging limitations when third party libraries are brought in to a QT project. There are quirks with certain hardware platforms that we struggled with initially but through some forums posts were able to come up with solutions that worked for our embedded UI development team. """The best stage to develop an application """
What do you like best about Qt?

Qt Creator is a cross-organize C++, JavaScript and QML joined enhancement condition. What I like most is the huge extent of potential results that this stage offers: It consolidates a visual debugger, default compilers and bundles of libraries that makes it amazingly easy to use.I used it to make interfaces to connect with 3D and physical models, and it is particularly easy to use and learn. You can implant gets, layers and all that you need to make an easy to-use window that changes with resizing and keeping the things set up.The investigating and traceback usefulness is incredibly helpful when attempting to discover where an issue lies in your code. You can undoubtedly set breakpoints and hop to the segment of code you accept is causing the issue and see the neighborhood factors and their substance continuously. The UI/structure architect is a gigantic help when building complex interfaces, such things would require tedious manual XML section by hand generally. You can likewise review any UI you configuration by squeezing alt+shift+R which is useful when trying out how the measuring alternatives of the window will work and how it will influence your controls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qt?

At times it is a pinch of dumbfounding how to set the layers to keep all of the gets and parts together or at a settled division. Regardless, it's to some degree straightforward and you learn it really quick. It isn't the most adjustable IDE contrasted with Eclipse and Visual Studio, nonetheless, despite everything it works well. I use it on Ubuntu and Windows and dependably locate the last sets aside greater opportunity to setup before use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In some cases it is a touch of befuddling how to set the layers to keep every one of the catches and parts together or at a settled separation. In any case, it's somewhat simple and you learn it truly quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease at which I can make a functioning UI and changes makes it my preferred IDE when I'm developing a UI. This is thanks to the form designer which saves you a lot of xml coding time and makes it easy to preview your changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is not the most customizable IDE compared to Eclipse and Visual Studio, however, it still functions well. I use it on Ubuntu and Windows and always find the latter takes more time to setup before use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Qt creator is a solid IDE for C++ development"
What do you like best about Qt?

The ease by which a GUI can be added to already existing C++ code base Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qt?

The complexity. The code base of Qt has grown and morphed over time including all sorts of trends which makes it sometimes hard to find the best solution that will work in a modern setting. It has a clunky Microsoft feeling to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best software for GUI application development."
What do you like best about Qt?

It is a great software for handling UI and it's working, all at one place. Very useful once you get yo know all it's details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qt?

Everything about this software is good except that there are too many files to handle all at once. Takes some time to learn all the modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great syntax highlighting and auto-completion "
What do you like best about Qt?

Qt Creator uses normal .pro-files, CMakeLists.txt, Makefiles.am, etc. for its projects and rarely needs special configuration for projects. Projects can be built on the command line as usual. Responsive UI, no need to use the mouse for the power users. Allows for the creation of a window based UI in a graphical editor, no code required to build the UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qt?

QtCreator has lack of refactoring features. It's not even close to Resharper++ or CLion.

Totally outdated, still doesn't support C++11 features such as auto statements when using "Find Usage", etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
