What do you like best about QR.io?

Quick and easy initial QR code setup. Also, we love the customizations like adding our brand logo in the center of the code and customizing the look, feel, color, shape, etc of the QR code. Analytics and conversion tracking also seems better than many other providers. And of course, the fact that the QR codes are dynamic is great -- we can change the destination quickly and easily without having to reprint materials if the need arises. That's a huge value add and cost savings on print costs when clients have ever-changing needs for their QR destinations. For only a couple hundred dollars per year for an unlimited package, this really can't be beat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QR.io?

We'd love to be able to create individual access for clients to just access selected folders of QR codes in the dashboard, while maintaining our agency's ability to see and manage all of them across multiple clients. What problems is QR.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed quick-scan links for printed materials and wanted robust conversion tracking. QR.io allowed us to do both of those things and with their unlimited QR codes per year we can use it for all of our agency clients under one subscription. We are also excited to try out some of the additional pre-set QR code destination pages for our clients -- like the social media tree, the business page profile card, and the PDF share or Video Share pages. What do you like best about QR.io?

There's not really anything to dislike! I suppose some users may want the capability to generate other types of codes, but the ease of use and simplicity of qr.io is ideal for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QR.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

I teach online webinars, and I often need to refer participants to an external site for an interactive activity, a survey, a questionnaire, a signup page, etc. Creating a QR code simplifies that process . . . Before an event begins, I can generate a few QR codes that link to the specific sites and resources that I'll be referring to, and then at the appropriate moment during the event, simply paste a QR code in the chat area of the online event (or text the code to a group of participants). What do you like best about QR.io?

There are so many things to like about QR.io! My two favorite features are Dynamic QR codes that can be updated or changed without needing to change out the QR graphic, and the ability to customize the colors, shapes, and design of QR codes (and to save them to use later!) What do you dislike about QR.io?

So far, I haven't found anything that doesn't work as advertised. I expect that after I have hundreds of QR codes it might be a bit difficult to search through them all, but I can name each code and put them into folders, so that should help with the sorting, etc. I've only used them for URL links, so I can't speak to the other kinds of links that can be created. I use QR codes on printable PDFs. That way, even if they are downloaded/printed, someone can use the QR code to access online content (like YT videos) that support the content in the PDF. "Robust QR Codes Made Easy and Flexible"

What do you like best about QR.io?

I love how incredibly easy it is to set up a QR code. QR.io lays out all the different ways you may want to use the service, pick yours, and in a few simple steps you have a QR code. Plus you can customize how the QR code looks. No more boring black and white squares. They also offer the ability to update the result for the same code over time. What do you dislike about QR.io?

One of the first choices you need to make is static versus dynamic. The FAQ / help doesn't make the ramifications of this choice clear. It seems from their documentation you would always want dynamic, so I'm left wondering why is static even offered? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"QR.io makes marketing so much easier and fun!"

What do you like best about QR.io?

There are so many use cases for using QR codes, but none of them look as good as QR.io

I was just at an event last week and met a lot of new people. They were impressed with how quickly they could collect my information just by scanning my QR.io code. They didn’t even have to input anything into their phones or have to find me on Facebook.

These are just some of the features I use the most.

Dynamic QR Codes – I love this feature. When I need to change any aspect of my code like my address and nothing else this is a perfect way- just update the qr code and save. It’s that easy!

Static QR Codes – When I have information that does not change – These are great for one-time offers that will expire.

QR Code Statistics – Who doesn’t want to know when, where, why, and how a customer reached you? QR.io gives us all the statistics we need.

Fully customized landing pages – Create an offer and send anyone there with qr.io codes

Customized Colors & Shapes for QR Codes – We choose which colors pictures and shapes to use on our QR codes

No Coding Required – I don’t know how to code and I’m glad I don’t need to!

Custom QR codes with logo – I like how impressed people are when they see my logo right on the QR Code.

We are not limited to how many codes or scans we can have.

We are able to manage all our codes in one place.

QR.io can open all our links, get people connected to our wifi, easily collect our payments, Initiate a chat, allow us to receive reviews. I’m not sure what it can’t do. It is quick, it is simple, and it is awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QR.io?

No way to capture the information of the people downloading your QR Code. That would be a great feature. Other than that, I have found Zero Flaws in this software. And honestly, that isn't a flaw. That's just a suggestion that I have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Stop using outdated business cards. Many people file them away or lose them. Get your website, social media, photos, videos, audio, music, portfolio, resume, coupons, etc... What problems is QR.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Old Fashioned business cards are no longer needed. With vCard QR Codes, and Business Page Profile QR Codes, I have eliminated the need to print business cards, that would likely get thrown away anyway. QR.io has a Coupon feature. If you use text message marketing, think about the coupons you could forward to the people on your list!!! QR.io can be used to share photos, audio files, photo collections (which is ideal for photographers), music producers, podcasters, content creators, etc,... I use it to share files with my clients and it makes us look more professional than our competitors. As a business owner, I love the PayPal Feature!!! That solved the issue of me having to have a tablet or laptop or customers having to be on my website. Bill them on the spot and GET PAID ON THE SPOT!!! If you write content, stories, ebooks, and/or articles use the PDF Feature. I haven't used the Event, WhatsApp, and Bitcoin QR Codes yet, but I plan to. Even though this is perhaps a lengthy review, I still haven't covered all of the features. EVERYONE could use this, business owners or not, content creators or not, social media influencers, job seekers, recruiters, handymen, insurance agents, realtors, photographers, barbers, models, etc... "More features than we expected!"

What do you like best about QR.io?

As a pro member our team gets to see insights on what our scans are and more. Those numbers really help us to analyze if we are hitting our target goals and see if we are reaching the proposed audience. It also makes A/B testing so easy it feels like its cheating. There are a few different things we would like to change about custom aesthetics but the pros far outweigh the cons with QR.io. CashApp for instance has padding around their logo in their QR that they offer customers. What do you like best about QR.io?

I have been very impressed with QR.io. It is an extremely easy-to-use platform that has a wide range of possibilities for what you can do with a QR code. Whether you want to create a code to take someone to a website, or have them perform a task, QR.io makes it simple and easy.

I also like the customization features QR.io offers because it allows me to create unique QR codes based on my branding. This helps to make my branding stand out from the competition.

The statistics section is definitely my favorite feature, as it allows you to see how many times your code has been scanned, what operating system it was scanned on, and where in the world it was scanned. What do you dislike about QR.io?

The pricing is not based on how many QR codes you need, which makes it perfect for those that want to generate a lot of them. But I think this service might be too expensive if all your needs are going to require occasional use; there are other cheaper options out there with fewer features.

"Simple and Great"

What do you like best about QR.io?

I have used QR.io for my clients, and just personal websites to turn into a QR code. The best thing about this app is that I can use custom QR designs, and there is just so much about it that I can change! There is nothing that I dislike from this app, to be honest. It has been treating me well for the most part. I believe one thing that I would love to see added is more languages! "Simple QR code generator with useful tracking dashboard"

What do you like best about QR.io?

There are a few reasons why qr.io might be attractive to businesses and individuals. First, its simple design makes it easy for anyone to use, even those without extensive technical knowledge or experience in online marketing. Second, QR codes can be embedded directly into web pages or other documents in order to draw attention to specific information or links – making it an effective way of promoting products and services. Third, because QR.io gives you the possibility to track the performance of the generated QRs, so you can monitor how effective is your campaign.

It also offers you API to generate and publish QR codes, and they have optimized landing pages for different types of media (websites, videos, PDFs...). It's really simple, but QR codes are a simple technology, so I like the fact that they didn't overdesigned the dashboard and the features of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QR.io?

The only drawback is related to something that happened in Q3 2021 I believe. Some users experienced massive redirects of some QR codes to a third-party website. In some communities, people argued about a potential breach of QR.io, but after a few days, they fixed the situation. Apart from this isolated incident, there aren't any other meaningful problems. I'm a designer and am often required to design brochures and graphics with QR codes. I purchased QR.io when a client asked me to design a graphic for his new van, and he wanted the graphic to feature a trackable QR code. I created the QR and shared a tracking link with him, so he can access the analytics dashboard, without being a user of QR.io. This feature is great for agencies in my opinion!
