## Qovery Reviews
  ### 1. Make Kubernetes Deployment Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle F. | Director DevOps, Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery makes it super simple to deploy applications to Kubernetes. With a friendly UI, it's easy to get up and running quickly. We are a big fan of their environment clone functionality, which allows us to easily deploy temporary environments for application testing and demo environments. Customer support is friendly and responsive!

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

You are choosing a managed service over customizability, so there can be trade offs if there are specific Kubernetes features you want to leverage that are not yet supported on the platform. Qovery has been very good about getting important features on their roadmap delivered, and this has not been a problem for us.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery helps us to deploy our application, which consists of quite a few third party containers. Qovery makes it simple to build your stack as a template and keep consistency across environments. This had previously been a big challenge for us. Keeping lower environments aligned with production can be a complicated task.

  ### 2. Heroku to AWS made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rish C. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

By far the team, working with very astute and responsive people such as Romaric has helped tremendously migrate our backend services across from Heroku to AWS. The team is always on standby to lend a hand when it comes to best practices and debugging any issues that came up during the migration. The platform itself has a great modern feel to it, unlike the actual cloud providers, which makes it very easy to use. Any startup looking to migrate and use the credits you can get should check out Qovery!

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Perhaps my only complaint right now is build times. I was used to sub one minute builds of my app on Heroku which was all handled behind the scenes. On Qovery I am getting build times a little bit longer than that, but am working with the team to get that down.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage cloud infra without having to think about it. As an early stage startup, we want our time to go towards things that will benefit the product and our users the most. With Qovery, I can ignore the ops side of things, knowing that its robust and fully handled for me. This saves us a huge amount of time and energy.

  ### 3. YOO platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathilde E. | CSM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery streamlines application deployment, enabling teams to launch without DevOps expertise. It minimizes the operational overhead of cluster and service management, freeing up valuable time.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Some setup parts are technical, but clear docs and great support make it easy to handle.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No weeks wasted on setup, no AWS or Kubernetes headaches. Just more time to build our product.

  ### 4. Great Devops accelerator company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

I'm the Chief Data Officer at Pond. We use Qovery to accelerate the deployment and management of Open Source Software (OSS) from Helm charts onto Qovery. We also use Qovery to accelerate devops for backend services. We don't really need to mess with Terraform at this stage of the company - now that we are using Qovery managed AWS EKS clusters.

The Qovery team is like having a devops team supporting your company, without having to hire dedicated devops engineers. They are experts on Kubernetes, etc. and are up to date with the latest PaaS technologies.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Certain non-common OSS deployment methodologies are not documented well in Qovery, and this needs to be improved.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery makes installing popular OSS (like Airbyte, Selenium, etc.) onto a Qovery managed AWS EKS cluster very easy.

  ### 5. Fast, efficient and easy to use self-service product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gauthier W. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery helps our Engineering Team deploy apps using HelmCharts safely & efficiently while making day-to-day operations feel like a breeze. The features (Cloud Shell, Repository integration, visual pipeline) and quick feedback loop helps increase Developer Efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

The fact that we can't define Env Vars in the UI for self-managed charts isn't that convenient, but not impossible to work around.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery gives Engineering the ability to deploy apps in an easy fashion on our Kubernetes clusters while empowering them to get insights into what's running, how it's running while granting them access to debug on their own.

  ### 6. Qovery is a refined and incredibly useful tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

We're using Qovery for Preview Environments, and our application has several very specific needs. The Qovery platform was able to provide for most of these complicated requirements with ease right out of the box, and the few requirements they couldn't provide for the staff had documented workarounds for the use case.

The staff are friendly, compassionate, patient, and genuinely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Qovery lacked a few minor features for integrating with GitHub that were present in other platforms. The staff were able to show us how to get around the problem easily, but it required a small amount of developer time to customize our environment.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery has solved Preview Environments for us.

Preview Environments will allow us to deepen our integration tests and QA runs pre-deploy, and to have a space to be creative and explore radical new ideas in a way that the whole company can participate in.

  ### 7. Great PaaS in your own cloud

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 🌱 Adrien S. | Tech advisor for good, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

All the hard and boring parts are handled for you, you can focus on your product, reactive customer support.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Some key features missing: running one-off containers, integrated monitoring (incoming)

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Continuously deploying apps to the cloud, without downtime, can be time consuming and complex. Qovery, as a PaaS, encapsulates the complexity and provides easy to use tools to ship apps fast and reliably; with the added bonus of working on your own cloud.

  ### 8. Qovery is a no brainer for all stages

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaiah Marc S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

I discovered Qovery a long time ago, when they were building the closed beta. As I'm working on my first project by myself, I didn't want to go serverless. Sure, it's easy and cheap but it doesn't work at scale. I needed an automated way to deploy my Docker image from my GitHub monorepo with a managed Postgres database on RDS, migrations, and cron jobs. I tried Qovery and it eliminated all of my infrastructure and deployment headaches. No terraform, no GitHub actions, and no Kubernetes knowledge required. Their user interface is clean and fun to use. Everything deployed within my AWS cluster within minutes. I had full control of the features, instances and scaling. The team was quick and helpful with resolving any issues. And I won't need a DevOps team or expensive engineers to manage complex infrastructure as I scale. Qovery is a no-brainer, I'm very satisfied and excited to continue with their service.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

I was hesitant to onboard, Qovery appeared intimidating as a mature and established platform for my pre-product and pre-revenue side project. The pricing is expensive for a startup, but at scale is worth every penny.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatically deploy my Docker images from my GitHub monorepo to my AWS cluster with cycle and cron jobs.

  ### 9. From zero to production in minutes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moises R. | Mexico Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Very easy to deploy a secure environment in AWS. Being able to manage environments and create on demand preview environments. Deploy and create resources with Helm charts and Terraform providers is very easy. Integration with 3rd party tools like Doppler is a plus.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Qovery is a mature and stable product at this point, but there are small details here and there that need to be polished.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploy resource to AWS. Easy to manage and scale.

  ### 10. Today Qovery allows us to make deployments more efficient.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel . | lead dev, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery makes it super easy to deploy apps without needing DevOps skills. We significantly reduce the time spent on cluster and service management for our teams.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Some setup concepts can be a bit technical at first, but the docs and support team help a lot.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We saved weeks of setup time and avoided the complexity of AWS and Kubernetes. Now we can focus on building our product instead of managing infrastructure.

  ### 11. Super !

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juliette G. | Developper, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

simple app deployment, no DevOps required, less time wasted on clusters and services.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

initial setup concepts slightly technical, but documentation and support mitigate.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

saves weeks of setup, removes AWS/Kubernetes complexity, shifts focus to product building.

  ### 12. Qovery

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor F. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

What I like best about Qovery is its simplicity and ease of use. The platform is evolving quickly, with frequent improvements and new features. Its UI/UX is also very intuitive and user-friendly, which makes managing infrastructure much more pleasant and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

The frequent pricing changes, often trending upwards, are a bit frustrating. It creates uncertainty when planning budgets and long-term usage. More pricing stability would be appreciated.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploy without any headeach on AWS EKS.

  ### 13. I highly recommand Qovery

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

What I enjoyed the most is the quickness of the installation of my app, in multiple environments, and the help that the team gives you is amazing

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

At the beginning, maybe a lack of information about the cost of the Cloud service used (in our case AWS) , that could be helpful for beginning companies. Since we moved to Scaleway, our costs are way reduced, without any loss of availability and capability for what we need.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery helps you to not care about how your deployments can be done, you just configure your Cloud provider, your environment and your credentials, and it does the job for you

  ### 14. Best Devops Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nael O. | cto, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

I love evrything. It automates all your deployments easily and l like the fact that all layers are well itnegrated from env vars to github actions and environments.

Devops and infratsructure complexities have been safely wiped and the whole company witnessed a clear efficiency gain.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Nothing to mention on this aspect as I have witnessed a really good product

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It automates the whole inf ra pipeline from code updates to Docker deployments, DNS settings, and production ready server constantly up and scaled.

  ### 15. I'm still trying Qovery, but seems to have potential

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

The admin dashboard is clear and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

I'm still learning how to use, so I don't have anything to mention at the moment.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making infrastructure easier to maintain without depending on a DevOps professional for some routine tasks.

  ### 16. Simplification of DevOps processes for cloud providers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Clean and simple UI to create Kubernetes clusters, servers and managed DB.
Very good support from Qovery team via Slack with quick feedback on questions.
Good documentation for projects and UI available.
Simplifies the process a lot when working with Kubernetes.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Deployment time from a monorepo can be really slow (you cannot redeploy all at once).

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

no longer have to manage clusters themselves, because Qovery offers a cluster with automatic upgrades.

  ### 17. Modern infrastructure done for you

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pranas K. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery deploys and manages a modern infrastructure with a very little effort on your side. Their infrastructure is built on top of the latest and greatest components that we used to deploy ourselves. We prefer Qovery because it frees our team from maintaining and managing infrastructure and allows focusing on our application development.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Since it's a new product some bugs do appear but they are usually quickly fixed. It also can get a bit expensive when your usage grows.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery is managing our cloud infrastructure for us allowing our development team to focus on our application.

  ### 18. Streamlined Cloud Infrastructure Deployment Made Effortless with Qovery

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

What I like best about Qovery is its intuitive interface, which simplifies both setup and deployment of cloud resources. It's incredibly user-friendly, making it accessible to developers of all skill levels. Additionally, the comprehensive documentation and responsive customer support ensure a smooth experience from implementation onwards.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

The logging part XD but hey, logging is always a pain. I know they are working a lot and working great to bring a great experience also for logging.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery solves the complex challenges of cloud infrastructure management by providing a streamlined platform for deploying resources across multiple providers like AWS and GCP. This benefits our team by saving valuable time and resources, as we no longer need to navigate different provider consoles or manually manage deployments. With Qovery, everything is centralized and automated, resulting in increased efficiency and reliability in our operations.

  ### 19. Simplifying Cloud Deployments with Ease and Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anderson A. | Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery simplifies the deployment process, allowing our developers to focus on writing code without worrying about infrastructure. Its user-friendly interface and straightforward setup make it accessible even for those with limited DevOps experience.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

it is an excellent cloud platform. I highly recommend it for both beginners and professional developers.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looking after cloud infrastructure and deployments can be quite a hassle. This platform offers a user-friendly solution that takes care of deployment tasks, freeing up developers to concentrate on coding rather than worrying about managing the infrastructure.

  ### 20. Qovery made operations accesible to everyone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge R. | Co-Founder & Software Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

That makes almost trivial to manage the entire infrastructure of our organization, including third-party managed services, demos, and PoCs. What I like the most is that it democratizes DevOps for smaller companies like ours, often constrained by budget considerations.
At this point, we find challenging to afford a dedicated DevOps team, and even if we could, there's no guarantee of achieving the same level of mature infrastructure that Qovery help to provide.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

That it does not have a way to monitor the utilization of nodes within each cluster without directly accessing my cloud provider's platform. Additionally, it would love to know how configuration changes impact our monthly costs.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DevOps democratization

  ### 21. Easiest way to scale your infrastructure on your AWS account - without any hassle!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe P. | Lead Software Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

You get the security and reliability of AWS infrastructure, but you're spared the hassle of setting up all AWS infrastructure resources yourself. Qovery has its own developer console enabling you to configure only the relevant resources of each service.

If you already have an image registry setup, it's very easy to implement CD on the platform of your choice (we used GitHub actions and it worked flawlessly). Defining lifecycle methods to perform pre-deployment tasks like migration of the database is very simple as well.

Qovery supports a number of databases and types of applications. Since it uses Kubernetes, you can launch a shell directly to your service in case you ever need to debug. Qovery also allows you to configure auto-scaling for your services, making sure that your app is always available.

Another thing I love personally are environment variable groups: You can choose to import env variables from an ".env"-file and configure them to be available project-wide, environment-wide, or service-wide making it very easy to maintain environment variables for your services.

Their customer support is exceptional, they're very helpful in their own community forum and quick to respond.

I barely have to check the console because everything just works. But in case you're interested in your application logs, resource usage, and app statistics, the Qovery team has done a great job in visualizing them.

The product has various APIs you can use: CLI, API, and even Terraform to store your qovery infrastructure configuration as code.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

The CLI is not that well document if you're trying to redeploy with your custom container tag, but there are some examples you can draw from. Another minor thing is that when you use an "deploy" command in the Qovery CLI the output you're getting is not that helpful, so if you use another platform to perform your CI/CD from like GitHub Actions, you can't monitor the progress as you don't get the "real deployment logs" that you see in Qovery.

All in all, I have nothing bad to say.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fact that in enables us to use AWS infrastructure without having to configure the details through CLI or AWS console is huge. It allows us to focus on our relevant tasks in our business.

  ### 22. Great tool to start with Kubernetes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Very easy to setup and clear UI. It manages for us cluster creation and maintenance, as well as auto-upgrade Kubernetes versions. It comes with ingress controller, cluster auto-scaler, and all the defaults.

Pure click-ops fashion making it very easy to learn the tool. Anyone can deploy a container without even reading documentation!

RBAC is baked-in which is really convenient to give developpers only read-access to prod.

Great and active support as well, the team is knowledgeable (great blog!) and very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

The out-of-the-box application deployments are missing features such as InitContainers and startupProbes which would then require to deploy your own helm charts/kustomize.

Deployment time from a monorepo can be really slow (you cannot redeploy all at once).

There is no easy diff between environments and promoting changes between environments is missing.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No need to manage the kubernetes cluster anymore, using Qovery provides a cluster with auto-upgrades.

  ### 23. Qovery engine is robust with auto-scaling capabilities & superb PaaS platform for AWS infrastructure

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghna S. | Cloud Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery platform effectively isolates its internal infrastructure & our AWS infrastructure so that any outages or security breaches on Qovery wouldn't impact our production environments.

Its control plane effectively acts as our centralized authentication management & resource control hub for all our application deployments.

We can conveniently handle the dynamic components of our applications such as programming languages, application dependencies, local & environment variables and runtime optimization, all under a single pane of glass

Its automated alert notification tracks the health & performance of our containerized applications and informes us about any critical issues or abnormalities.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

We haven't faced any inconvenience while working with Qovery platform as its enterprise friendly & suitable for rapid application deployments.

It seamlessly integrates with our AWS RDS & S3 services providing us the much needed convenience & flexibility.

We carry out some of our blue-green deployments since Qovery platform supports dynamic updates & minimizes downtime whenever application updates are in progress.

Overall, Qovery provides exceptional PaaS solutions for our resource allocations, cost optimization and security governance for our AWS infrastructure.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery platform helps with creating our lifecycle job for our AWS RDS deployments in our non-prod & prod environments. In case of any ad-hoc changes to the configurations, Qovery automatically redeploys the lifecycle job without impacting our existing infrastructure.

Its health check feature effectively determines whether our application is ideal for receiving the incoming traffic or it requires a restart.

A lot of self-hosted option is provided by Qovery engine which allows us to customize its platform, based on our application requirements.

We can conveniently deploy our terraform codes with the help of Qovery platform as it provides automation of our complete workflow, enhanced scalability & availability for our production deployments.

  ### 24. The simplest way to manage your fullstack micro-service infrastructure

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc-André P. | CTO, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery is essentially an abstraction layer over many cloud providers, including AWS.
It allows you to control in a managed way all your infrastructure while staying simple and straight to the point.

It is very fast to create/manage/delete services, databases, cronjobs, etc.
Great to have a whole overview of our infrastructure, as everything is listed in one place, with health checks and other useful data.

In conclusion, Qovery is a very efficient way of managing simple or complex AWS infrastructures that must scale.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

While Qovery in itself is very simple, we still had to deal with AWS from time to time for our infrastructure needs.
But this is also the beauty of it, as you still have 100% control over AWS (Or any cloud provider you choose to use with it).

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery is solving the complexity of AWS problem.
We needed a solution to efficiently manage our infrastructure.
Our time must be spent on our product, not developing DevOps tools, or battling with AWS.

  ### 25. Game Changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laurent S. | Head of Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

The simplicity of the interface, and the level of abstraction they managed to implement... devops can be such a pain... and yet they made it accessible for others !

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Don't know yet... If I really had to say something... I would have liked a pricing plan based on the platform usage, rather than a per dev licence...

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplicity to go to production
Decoupling the tools in our CI/CD process
We don't need any fulltime devops position in the team so far
It even benefits us in optimizing our production costs, the interface being so straightforward in terms of choice, and implications
Last and not least, it makes us concentrate on creating value for the company, and saves us a lot of time and energy (therefore money) to do so !

  ### 26. Huge help allowing us to focus on our own product value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clément G. | CTO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery has been an absolute help to release our product live in production. In a very short period, we were able to transition from Heroku (which was expensive and still required us to configure infrastructure stuff on AWS on our side) to Qovery, and set up a full running environment with our data stores, all without a deep infrastructure knowledge.
Our usage of Qovery grows smoothly with our needs, and we were for example able to add pre-prod environments or more complex build/testing workflows in just a few changes.

In short, the positive points for us have been:
- don't focus on infra aspects, liberate us time to focus on our core product value
- easy to use, easy to self-host internal tools, no need for DevOps role
- ability to rely on the AWS infrastructure (reliability and low cost)
- availability and quality support

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Sometimes we are not autonomous enough to find/debug problems: lack of context and details in deployment errors, not enough proactive actions to help in the console. This required us to manually contact the support multiple times and created small frictions.
But, they improved the capability to browse deployment/live execution logs recently, and continuously release useful improvements and features.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Limit time on infrastructure aspects, a tool having the expertise to orchestrate our cloud needs, allowing us to focus on our own product value (especially when having limited resources)

  ### 27. Cloud infrastructure usable to everyone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Having a Kubernetes infrastructure in production in just a few clicks
No need for a DevOps to scale.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Still has a few small bugs and logs that aren't always very clear but is on the right track.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To have an advanced cloud infrastructure on AWS and a continuous integration solution without having to pay for a DevOps.

  ### 28. The easiest way to manage a modern container-based infrastructure

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery gives you full access to the power and flexibility of cloud providers (i.e. AWS) without the hassle of maintaining the infrastructure.

Qovery takes everything complicated about modern infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS services, complex CI pipelines, ...) and makes it so simple to manage that any engineer with very little training could manage a global-scale infrastructure.

Support has been nothing but great since we started using it.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

If you have really complex CI pipelines you're better off integrating with another external CI provided.

This isn't necessarily a problem as it's not Qovery's main focus... but having an integrated CI would make everything so much simpler.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery gives us the infrastructure we've always wanted, minus the headaches of managing it on our own.

  ### 29. Painless Container/Cluster Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery is an impressive Platform-as-a-Service solution that simplifies the deployment and management of web applications in the cloud. Our main benefits are: Really easy to use, CI Integration (Github Actions), Preview Apps, Deployments and Auto-Scaling.

Overall, Qovery's focus on simplicity, automation, and versatility makes it an appealing choice for developers and teams looking to streamline their application deployment and management processes.

On top of that, their support is great!

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Honestly there is nothing much we can complain about. Of course, there's always a feature missing, but Qovery ships frequently and fast. Builds and deployments could be faster, but this is also something they already work on.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CI Integration/Deployments/Preview Apps:
It seamlessly integrates with Github Actions, deploying production code after tests pass, building and deploying preview apps on pull requests and deleting those once a branch was merged. Deep knowledge of DevOps topics are not required.

Auto-Scaling:
Your applications can automatically scale based on CPU and RAM usage.

End-to-End Tests:
With preview apps integrated into our CI we can now run e2e tests on a production like environment.

Ease of Use:
Qovery provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface/CLI/API, making it easy for developers to deploy and manage their applications. All are well documented.

  ### 30. Game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomer S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery has redefined how we approach deployment, making it an effortless journey. Coming from a background where the complexities of Kubernetes and cloud interfaces could easily overwhelm, Qovery has been a breath of fresh air. The best part? It combines the flexibility of AWS and Kubernetes with the ease of a PaaS, offering a dynamic environment where we can deploy anything from background tasks to databases without breaking a sweat.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

While Qovery's core features shine, there are moments when its full potential requires a bit of a learning curve. Navigating through the full interfaces (UI, Terraform, API...) and understanding the intricacies behind the scenes can be challenging at times. It can sometimes be overkill for our needs, but I'm sure it'll be beneficial when we're at a more advanced stage.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gone are the days of wrestling with Kubernetes intricacies and grappling with AWS configurations. Qovery steps in as a true problem solver, allowing us to focus entirely on our products rather than being bogged down by infrastructure woes. This shift has translated into rapid development cycles, quicker time-to-market, and a streamlined workflow. As we harness Qovery's power, we experience the liberation of concentrating on what truly matters

  ### 31. A startup with exceptional product support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

The support.
It is next level. The founder himself usually responds and fast.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

UI and product bugs.
Since it's a startup there are still some rough edges but other things make up for that.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it reduces that amount of time we need to spend managing our infrastructure

  ### 32. Platform engineering is future, and Qovery is simply an heavyweight in this discipline!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mickaël G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Easy peasy application deployments. Isolation of concerns. Ease of use. Improved team workflow and autonomy with Preview Env. And automatic cost reduction through hierarchical rules.
But great team too! Reactive, always there to help us with a smile, a clear and user-centric roadmap, you can see your ideas come to fruition if they make sense, and often they do as a user!

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

I'm a big fan of Hashicorp Nomad, and I think K8 has more infrastructure costs and complexity, but it's an indefinite debate, and I'm happy that we can use K8 so simply with Qovery!

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our development and Q&A workflow, we can quickly isolate all development and testing releases at a glance. IT and support teams are faster and more autonomous thanks to high automation. And as a Platform Engineer, I can control workflows while leaving autonomy to the teams.

  ### 33. We don't need a DevOps engineer because we have Qovery

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pranav P. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

It's simple to use and very efficiently manages the complex parts of deployment. CD, Auto Scaling, customising resources and setting up domains etc is very easy.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Only HTTP(s) ports are publicly exposed. Any non 443 ports are only exposed internally to cluster. While this works for like 99.9% of the cases, sometimes it can be limiting and would love to see this in upcoming versions.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing, Scaling and deploying a complex stack on multiple environments is a pain. People typically use Kubernetes with helm charts to get this done. Typically this requires at least 2 DevOps engineer working on this. Using Qovery we don't need any. Just need to configure the app once (and its easy) and then everything else is taken care of automatically. It helps keeps our team lean, makes sure that there are no issues/bugs with the deployment and automation/scaling infra.

  ### 34. user-friendly and powerful interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bilal T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

This platform is exceptional, enabling you to deploy complete cloud infrastructures effortlessly with just a few clicks. Plus, you can take advantage of a free trial period for several weeks to explore its full capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

While Qovery is designed to make cloud infrastructure easier to manage, the breadth of features and integrations might overwhelm newcomers to the cloud and DevOps space

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it drastically reduce the scope of human error and it also speeds up the entire deployment cycle.

  ### 35. Docker's flexibility with the ease of a PaaS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago R. | Co-founder and CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

When I first learned about Docker I loved the idea of being able to have utilities like a cache server, or streaming server, or any database by simply copying a Dockerfile from Docker Hub.

Bringing this idea to production requires challenges like orchestrating with Kubernetes and the complexity of cloud provider network interfaces. Or worse, the madness of permissions management like AWS's IAM.

Qovery removes all the insecurities and allows you to have an application with components as diverse as background tasks, databases, test environments, environment variables and even Cron tasks running in seconds. Without all the hassle.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

There are still challenges to overcome, and you need to know what's going on behind the scenes to get the most out of it, but the documentation is a marvel and there are new articles regularly! And on the forum is the Qovery team always ready to help and get their hands dirty.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kubernetes management on AWS made simple. It is now possible to have a very customized deployment of almost anything you can imagine without having to configure network interfaces and manage permissions.

  ### 36. Must have cloud infrastructure platform

Current version only support AWS, however I believe the team is working on multi cloud support

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating application management and scaling for our cloud applications. It fits in perfectly into our CI/CD process and has massively reduced operational risk and complexity for the team.

  ### 37. it just works

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Baptiste C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

That I don't really have to think about deployment. I just deploy, I don't have to go to my AWS accounts. My setup is very simple so I am expecting those type of solution to be fast/easy to implement and it was. I also used quick intensively the EC2 offering, reliable as well

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

I would question dashboard DX choices sometimes, but for the time I spend on the platform (<5mn every other month because I don't need to), I think it's ok

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to be up and running quickly on AWS - with custom domains, multiple subdomains.
The one thing I wanted to solve was finding a product that could make me focus on my product and not the infrastructure around it - that I have not knowledge about

  ### 38. With Qovery our infrastructure has taken a big boost

- Very simple to use
- Fast to set up
- Qovery API through CLI
- Cost optimisation and credit availability
- Deployment pipeline

Qovery help us to manage our Kubernetes cluster. We feel more confident with a tool like this because we can save lot of time in configuration / supervision

  ### 39. Truly great product, I needed some time to get the hang of it

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno J. | Freelance Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

At first, using Qovery can be daunting, but after some documentation reading and tinkering, it is a real game changer!
Deploy your applications in minutes, clone your environments easily, one UI to manage all our resources WHILE keeping full control/access of the underlying AWS infrastructure.
Also, the team is just the best, even helping me during week-ends.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

The 9 retries of a deployment by default is just the worst, this should be on 1 at first and then be upgraded as needed. When the app crashes, I want the deployment to fail, unless I chose differently for this service in particular.
Many other things to improve but the core features make up for it!

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The headaches of managing AWS infrastructure, I was using Elastik Beanstalk and decided to use Qovery to have my services, databases, cache in one place.
This is basically an abstraction layer over AWS

  ### 40. Coming from Heroku, Qovery is a much more flexible product with an amazing customer care

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

- Good developer experience

Compared to Heroku:
- More flexible
- New features every month
- Constant improvements
- Good performances

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

- Lack a bit of stability
- More flexibility makes it more complex to use than Heroku
- CLI documentation is not complete

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qovery enables us to have servers located in the regions we want with a developer experience almost as good as Heroku

  ### 41. Qovery makes cloud infrastructure usable for everyone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter K. | Full Stack Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

Qovery is very easy to use. It is straightforward to set up your first application(s) and database(s) via the web interface. I also love the new v3 console, as it offers so much more options to adjust and tweak the setup.

While this is sufficient for most use cases, Qovery offers a very extensive API and a terraform provider. The latter two allow you to go beyond simple use cases and consolidate the benefits of Qovery and while still being able to use other cloud services.

I value the excellent documentation and support/community via the discussion forum. The team behind Qovery recently started again with the monthly demo day session – very nice!

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Sometimes deployments take a bit longer due to a full queue of scheduled deployments. Very rarely, they fail due to that reason.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefit of Qovery is, that it makes setting up a cloud application/environment very easy. There is no need for a DevOps engineer. We can focus on developing features and don't have to worry about our infrastructure.

Security/VPCs are built-in, simple custom domain support, and it integrates nicely into our CI/CD pipeline!

  ### 42. Deployment without the hassle

Qovery is my cloud architect for AWS. Infra is a big topic, it's great having qovery bringing unprecedent abstraction to it

  ### 43. Qvoery: Create your cloud infrastructure with no complexity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wallerand D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

We moved from Heroku to Qovery with a monolith and some microservices. We liked being able to use Terraform for managing all our infrastructure.
Qovery's dashboard is straightforward to use and the team is always responding in few minutes!

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Terraform is not matching all dashboard's options yet. We contributed to improving the terraform provider on GitHub. The Qovery team was reactive, and the PR was merged in few hours!

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduced costs on AWS infrastructure without managing a complex Kubernetes

  ### 44. Qovery is excellent, and brought us from 0 to 100 on our cloud infrastructure in a matter a hours.

It Helped us bootstrap our entire infrastructure, spawning multiple environments, production and preview / QA environments without any effort or even heavy devops background. It empowers our team to adopt a full continuous deployment and speed up the value added by our platform to our customers.
They also iterate and improve their platform at a breakneck pace, which allows us to access new features on a daily/weekly basis.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Having to rely on qovery to update k8s cluster version and some minor ui bugs that are generally quickly fixed. Otherwise, nothing is significant at this point.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to deploy faster, and on multiple environments without investing in complex devops or cloud infrastructure.

  ### 45. Qovery is truly a game changer for startups looking to manage infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

The Terraform Provider is not 100% matching what is possible to do in their interface.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduce our infrastructure workload: we're a little company so it helps us having a well-done infrastructure without having the need to either reduce our engineer velocity nor hire a SRE.

  ### 48. Head of Technology

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max D. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Qovery?**

It makes it simple to stand up your first env. But from there, each extra env is dead simple and high confidence to make it match

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

Had to sign a contract with legal team on our end. Not a problem with the product/service, but slowed our tech team down at using it as we needed approval from the company

Turns complex and hard to assemble processes into simple ones. With one click features such as rollbacks, deploys and even ephemeral environments, Qovery makes it extremely simple to plug'n'play with AWS services and manage them.
Qovery was a real turning point in managing our infrastructure and is a cornerstone of our processes.

**What do you dislike about Qovery?**

UI/UX is still a bit raw. Monitoring in those dashboards mainly doesn't help as it's tough to make it actionable. Log reading is also challenging.

**What problems is Qovery solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Auto-scaling, ephemeral environments, continuous development and easy infrastructure planning.
