**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

QorusDocs  is cleverly built around Microsoft Office, and permitted us to design a process and structure that worked for our business, without forcing our practitioners or business development staff into a locked or prescriptive process.  The system is extremely simple and easy to teach users, onboard onto, and use. The basic insight -- of creating and storing canonical content to be leveraged over time -- works very well.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

Because QorusDocs is not a lock-in system, it is possible for our practitioners to avoid adhering to the workflow we've established, but this is the price we knew we would have to pay into order to have a system that they would enjoy using. If someone wants to literally email a proposal around and void the workflow and tracking in QorusDocs, they can do it, but considering that this was the primary form of collaboration prior to QorusDocs, we are still enormously ahead in terms of tracking, delegation, and project management generally.

**Recommendations to others considering QorusDocs:**

QorusDocs is very adaptive (vs a rigid off-the-shelf solution), but the other side of that coin is that they can't tell you what process you need to have. It's worth investing serious time and effort into deciding what workflow you'd like to have, and what information you want to track, before implementing QorusDocs, but if you are willing to take the time to design the process you want, QorusDocs is an excellent partner.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were struggling with insufficient workflow, privacy, discoverability, and general project management and oversight. QorusDocs literally makes it possible for us (the bid team and company management) to know what is going on across the firm in terms of our new business pursuits.

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

The navigation pane is user-friendly and easy to move through. Additionally, I love being able to search for random keywords and receive meaningful suggestions for what I was looking for.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

I am still pretty new to QorusDocs, but so far there is nothing that comes to mind as being negative. It's been a refreshing change from the program my film used to use.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The search function - I just love it.  When you are looking for something specific and use a search bar to find it, nothing is more frustrating than the first several suggestions having NOTHING to do with what you were actually searching for. I am not experiencing that here.

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

Enables our sales and extended teams - allows for content to be easily shared and tracked. Not only a pursuit management platform but also sales enablement.  
Access to up-to-date Microsoft material is absolutely fantastic. 
My support team at Qorus - so friendly, knowledgeable and willing to assist quickly.  
When we ask about adding feature requests Qorus team is ready to take our requests and submit them to development teams.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

When creating a new pursuit title for a new fiscal for example, it would be great to be able to copy and just rename the title. (saving from adding in all of the smart fields again).

Sharing across our branches - not so silo type and sharing great content with all of our teams

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

I think the add-in is the most valuable feature, and the one that we use the most. It is convenient and easy to use. Searchability is great and the new filters are really nice.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

I would love for QorusDocs to be more customizable. For example, I would love to see certain metadata (like doc ID) in the search result display.  I also wish we used pursuits as a team, but as of now we haven't implemented this.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easy to find and autofill an answer into an RFP response. I also  like the reporting side, where you can see top users and most frequently used documents. The fill-in-the-blank < > portion saves a lot of time as well!

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

The Fact all the different types of contents can be stored in one place. This wasn't a facility in my previous proposal management software. On a long term it saves time.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

The way of searching (read keyword selection) of contents in the library isn't that great. That was better in my previous proposal management software. The first line or heading of the content can be placed as the name of the content file, that way typing a few words from the content's first line or the heading should show the desired results.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving my day-to-day proposal automation. This is a crucial part of my job as I write proposals for a living. Qorus or any proposal management tool for that matter ensures more productivity and helps in the daily business.

Pretty much every feature is valuable. Holistically, it is the integration between all components of our process.

The assignment email notifications are really hard to navigate.

It is allowing my team to be more efficient, while having access to a ton of content almost immediately. We are able to gather pointed stats and take back time.

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

The guided onboarding process and the team we worked with were fabulous. They helped us get our system set-up every step of the way and were always quick to respond to our questions. The help desk is also super fast at respnding to support tickets and following up to make sure all issues are resolved. Excellent customer service. 

We are still working on getting 100% up and running with QorusDocs, but are already seeing a great benefit in reducing the time it takes to create a proposal. We are very excited to get all our content up in the system so that all our proposals and promotional materials are being created through the system. I also really appreciate the review and approval tools, which allow us to make sure our content is fresh and also being reviewed regularly by the right eyes.

I also really appreciate that QorusDocs is built to seamlessly integrate with Microsoft Office software products. This was a HUGE plus and a requirement for us that we struggled to find with other solutions on the market currently.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

There is nothing that I can think of at the moment that I would characterize as a dislike. Getting documents set-up, tagged appropriately, etc., is a bit time consuming, but I think once we do it more often, it will get easier and faster. We are also not likely to be adding lots of new content at one time once we have completed the initial "dump", so it's likely to be a non-issue in the future.

If you are looking for a system to help reduce time in creating proposals and other promotional materials, look no further!

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have historically spent a ton of time creating proposals and other promotional materials. Our source content was not housed in a single area and we didn't have a great platform for storing what source content we did have. Using QorusDocs is definitely helping solve the source content storage issue, as well as giving us the system/tools to make sure that content is kept fresh and frequently reviewed/approved by the right people. We are not yet fully operational with all our content being in the system, so are not seeing huge time savings in proposal/promotional materials creation yet, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and for those proposals that we have completed via QorusDocs, I believe we have seen a fairly significant decrease in team time commitment to get it out the door.

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

The visibility Qorus gives us is superb. I know which is the active document, who is working on it, who has and hasn't approved, when it is due, and what needs to be done in order to complete the delivery workflow. It also improves governance, as, at any point, I can look back and review approvers and final delivery files for any project.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

With a Software like Qorus, it's important to follow pre-defined steps. Team mates need to follow the process and take time to understand how the system works. For that reason, we have lost some of our agility when working on short turn-around tenders. That being said, flexibility and agility also comes with a lack of accountability and poor governace, which we now have with Qorus.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Qorus, we were often asked by colleagues to dig up archived responses and summarise projects we had delivered. Not only was this time-consuming, it was also frustrating for teammates who wanted easier access to completed work. Now, using the Project Search function, all users have access to projects and can review project details, delivered documents, client briefs and more.

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

I met the VP of Account Management at a convention. We were in the middle of implementing QorusDocs. He told me that QorusDocs will stick with us and see us through no matter what. The implementation has been a huge success. Two years later, they are still with us. Amazing support. Incredible people.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

We set up a lot of PowerAutomate Flows and I'm not a PowerAutomate expert. So, at the moment, the system feels very fragile with all the connecting threads from one SharePoint column to the next. The automation is awesome and I'm grateful. But now I'm dependent on their expertise for a bit and feel bad about that.  Will try to learn the best I can but there is some coding and a lot of complexity I don't fully understand. This is a concern for the future when changes will surely be required.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managed metadata! We have it everywhere now. This allows my users to filter like never before. That and the all the best practices we now implement because of the guidance from QorusDocs. The automation is very popular and now I have other teams wanting to house their content in my system as a result. The value is unmeasurable.

The software makes version control, editing, and archiving material much easier and user-friendly.  Also, the people at the company are fantastic.

They are missing a few features that could be helpful... but nothing that's a show-stopper.  I've mentioned them to our consult & they are looking into developing them.

Version control, group editing, archiving, searching for old material, material re-use, and standardizing permissions

I don't like the way the content management flows function. They are a little clunky.

They are adding the ability to connect look up fields from a sharepoint content source and that is hugely helpful for us.

The system does allow you to track the progress of the workflow. I do like that there is follow up on the workflow and you get get updates as well on e-mail . That is very helpful

The integration with Microsoft Office and SharePoint made QorusDocs very easy to implement and adopt. The templating process (use of smart fields and smart rules to enable document automation) was a nice improvement compared to our previous solution.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

If your proposal templates have a large number of variables, it can take a decent number of clicks and selections for users to create a proposal draft. This gives users the flexibility they need to create a customized document, but it also means they'll have more opportunities to make mistakes. Sufficiently training your user base will reduce this risk.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're excited to use the Share and Track feature to receive insights on where prospects are spending their time when viewing documents. We're able to connect more content libraries from disparate sources and make them all available from the QorusDocs interface, which is a huge time saver.

User friendly and intuitive interface right out of the box. Plug-ins to Office programs easy and quick to install and start using. Saves time on proposal and presentation creation right away.

I haven't found any yet but need more training to learn all the features and functions to find out which ones may be valuable for our team and organization. Like any content library solution, Qorus is best administered with a full-time content manager to be the gatekeeper of content coming in and out of the software.

Evaluate against other solutions and Qorus will shine as the best choice; take their learning modules and watch videos.

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

The ease of storing reusable content within categories, and searching later for answers we've gotten approved for use in RFP answers, etc. Also, the support staff has been very helpful any time we've raised a question or needed something changed.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

One major change that we had done involved having our database answers categorized as being for audience A, audience B, or both. Audience A users would be able to see the "Audience A" and "Both" answers; Audience B users would see the "Audience B" and "Both" answers. But an answer needed to appear only in one of those buckets; after the work was done by Qorus, there were some answers that appeared in more than one. We still occasionally find them and end up deleting one to avoid redundancy.

Look at all aspects of the program. It has a lot of functionality.

It is a platform that allows working on standard proposal content, and it helps with the procedure of keeping it fresh and re-useable.
From my experience with Qvidian ( this was a few years ago), I would say it is better than Qvidian. However, I also used Loopio in the past and I liked that more than Qorus from the perspective of ease of use.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

The processes linked to Qorus at the back end are sometimes cumbersome. Also, for example, if a user comments on a document on Qorus, the comment does not show up directly and quickly at the back end, so Content Managers do not see it right away. It may show up in the monthly report, but I would expect that this feature should work much better.

**Recommendations to others considering QorusDocs:**

I would not have recommendations at the moment.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I cannot answer this question, as the system was brought in several years ago by higher management.  Unfortunately, our company's system usage is not significant either at the moment and should be significantly improved.

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

Having the search & insert function available in the O365 tools we're already using to create proposals is the biggest advantage. Being able to insert our best content into my document,  with Qorus automatically completing the "smart fields"  from pre-populated data, in just a few clicks and without leaving the application I'm in, has made a big difference to my workflow.
Assignments makes it easier to work with our subject matter experts in a consistent way throughout the bid team and from bid to bid, making the bid managers life just a bit easier!
Also, the engagement and support we've received from the whole Qorus team throughout has been excellent, it feels like they're an extension of our business now.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

Qorus is simple for users to operate, and initially it was very intuitive to setup - both bog positives. But there's no avoiding that to full utilize it, and integrate into a complex environment; there's a reasonable amount of technical resource required by the customer - if you choose to manage this yourself.

A consistent process for working with SMEs via assignments means better proposals.
Ready-access to our content library means it's getting used more often.

I like how much easier it is to navigate. The layout makes much more sense to me perhaps because it looks more mature. I haven't had an opportunity to explore all of the features available to me but I have of course clicked on everthing I can.

Well, I find the load times are still lagging, and it's frustrating when I know that SharePoint should be processing results faster. Then again, as a user, I don't have enough information on its design, so who am I to say.

I am more productive in the newer version due to navigation and searching capabilities so far. It could have been user error before but seeing this new layout makes it easier to work with the data. I have yet to explore all of the features upgraded and new.

Live editing with peers is essential, but Docs and other apps do that better. Content control is helpul in Qorus, and the Knowledge Point is an okay feature, if slower to load than just pulling up a source doc. Good support team.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

Slow, buggy, requires tons of logging in, restarting, etc. Doesn't process images or formatting well in Word. Seemingly constant issues with SSO. Only works on expired browser.

Trying to use as CMS and shared doc editor, but not sure this is any better (time, money, or effort-to-quality-wise) than other options. May be better to use one or more alternatives, to be honest.

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

As an administrator, the timesaving field recognition is my favorite feature. Qorus recognizes the data fields in a document and makes  adding them to the data base easy within a simple worspace. For my users, the way you can tie documents together within an opportunity and then automate them all from one central hub that contains all content reccommended for that type of opportuniy.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

The review process is a bit rigid. Content management function falls to the SMEs, who may only be in the system periodically and forget to complete the process. I would like to see more ability to control the availability of content through auto approves for a group of users.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Qorus to house and mange our content for RFPs. With some set up, content is easy for users to find and the search function works well. An implementation note: Once the metadata is in place, and the SPO search return heiarchy adjusted, users will have no issues finding what they need.  

 We also use it to automate emails and responses that have tight turnaround times. It saves time and increases agility because documents can go-live quickly and the customization feature runs immediately.

Qorus is customizable and adaptable with the amount of content my company needs to access for proposal development.

The interface is a little outdated, though recently updated, and sometimes not intuitive to navigate.

The time it takes to set up a proposal template has now been cut down substantially, saving our Business Development team a ton of time during the capture and solicitation phases. The benefits I've realized are having the amount of content more accessible and navigatable via Qorus.

- Links seamlessly to Office 365 to provide faster, more accurate and powerful searching of previously written content, answers, evidence, etc.
- Qorus Content Hub Add-in to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook provides a Google-like search functionality within the programs and put content at your fingertips. This enables bid writers to benefit from Qorus whilst continuing to work in their preferred Microsoft products. 
- Customisable to meet our specific needs, including tailoring for specific businss units/departments.
- Great support and assistance during the implementation period - our Customer Success Team Lead  (Marco) genuinely tries to get the product to work for us and provide excellent support during the onboarding process.
- Link to your existing Sharepoint libraries or create new libraries depending on what suits your process.
- The implementation period encouraged us to assess what content we save and how we save it - this has resulted in an improvement to our process.
- Contents aren't actually uploaded to Qorus, instead they are uploaded to our own SharePoint Libraries - which ensures compliance with existing security and knowledge retention in future.

- Not a specific problem with Qorus, but you do need to ensure your content is organised and well structured to unlock the potential of Qorus.
- Occassional bugs do crop up, but the team at Qorus are very responsives and deal with them quickly.

- Spend more time writing and tailoring responses and less time searching for content.

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

The ease of finding information that you need to complete and make your proposal complete, its easy to integrate that information you find in to one document that you can then send to a client that they will understand with ease.

Sometimes it is not easy to navigate to the folder where the information you are looking for is, you need to go via SharePoint and still then its not easy to do so.

One of the problems is that everyone that did proposals had their own flavor and it looked unprofessional, now with Qorus its easy to standardise things and keep things legiable.

The best part of qorusdocs is the user-friendliness of it all. It's super easy to use and pull what you need instantly into any document you need. It's a huge time saver.

At the moment, since I am still new to it and getting use to it, I don't have much dislikes about it just yet.

It saves so much time and opens various documents to find something that I need. It's a database using search terms and categories to find what you need in a snap of a finger.

Inserting content is easy; smart field automation is very useful; clean UI.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

Unable to easily do bulk changes - it would be great to export the contents of an entirely SharePoint library into one document, for example. Occasionally content is unable to insert - the wheel spins and spins indefinitely. It's unfortunate that our style naming convention doesn't work natively with Qorus/Word's API and we had to retrofit it after implementation.

It is much easier to find content since the search and filter features are so robust, which definitely speeds up the process when working on an individual RFP document

**What do you like best about QorusDocs?**

The design and functionality of the solution have clearly been thought about a lot. Visually and in terms of the user experience, both feel quite natural. The support team are also very supportive and friendly - they are happy to take the time to answer questions and resolve problems. The resources available to support the use of the product are also good, with articles on various topics, as well as slick videos. The experience of how Qorus links in with our SharePoint library itself is smooth. I like that there are two tiers of access, so those working on bids who just need to do the basics and not search for or insert content don't need a paid license. The reports that Qorus have created around both user activity and content management also contain some very valuable information from an admin perspective.

**What do you dislike about QorusDocs?**

There have been multiple teething issues which have affected our team when working on bids, as well as content management. This seems to be due to Qorus being a fairly new product. In particular, we had bid document saving issues linked to the add-in, but these have now been resolved. The initial workflow solution for content management was also too complex and resulted in multiple problems - but we are now looking to move to Qorus's new solution which looks much simpler, whilst also fulfilling our needs. It also takes some time to understand how the back end of the Qorus website works in terms of managing the hub.

**Recommendations to others considering QorusDocs:**

I would consider what solutions you are currently using in terms of document production and content management, as Qorus have a range of options that can help you link these in with the tool. As stated, the design and support are both very positive elements. The solution does seem to be fairly new and the team fairly small, so that may be a point to consider, when competitor solutions could be longer running/more established and therefore less likely to encounter problems. That being said, some of the intelligent, beneficial functionality that Qorus offers was not available in our previous solution.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Searching and inserting content is a much quicker process, as it's now done using the Qorus Content Hub add-in in Microsoft Word. The assign function has also been very useful, as I don't believe our previous solution had this - it allows you to easily assign and notify the relevant expert in the business a bid question to look at. The clips function is also a great idea to easily capture new content written within a bid document and send it to a dedicated location to be looked at. The Power Automate flows created are also powerful in terms of automatically emailing subject matter experts both when they have a bid assignment and content in the library due to be reviewed. There has a been a positive response to this intelligent functionality - people are most often enthusiastic when seeing the solution.

The content clip functionality is a nice feature for adding a few content pieces at a time and it produces a nice formatted template

I wish the system were browser-based vs Sharepoint. Because it is not, it can be cumbersome to navigate and manage content. In the future, I would like to see the ability to make global changes, export to word functionality for quick database readthroughs  (with the ability to make changes to content from this view), drag-and-drop functionality, a quicker/more intuitive way to rename folders and categories, and a better "bird's eye view" into content.

**Recommendations to others considering QorusDocs:**

For long-term and nimble content management, I recommend browser-based systems.

**What problems is QorusDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RFP content repository. The content is organized, but we still need to regularly make changes to content, which can be cumbersome with a SharePoint system.

Search function is good. The preview function is useful, and so is the fact you can view multiple documents at the same time, without downloading them. Platform compiles proposals well using the content stored on there.

Navigation of the platform can be tricky - sometimes, you can't get back to the page with the different folder options for templates which can be annoying.

I love their support team and how intuitive the tool is. There's always someone available to help. The tool itself is also very intuitive and user-friendly.

There's really not many. Like any new tech, it takes time to adjust and learn. It helps if you already have knowledge of SharePoint and have a content library prepared. But if you don't they have experts to help.
