We can pull data from any connector, transform it and update it into any other product. Blendr handles issues with third-party APIs like rate-limits and access token refresh gracefully. Blendr supports a wide range of webhooks to ensure that the data is always up to date. We can use our own private application during the OAuth flow, this ensures we can white label all parts of the user experience. The documentation is readily available, all of the platform features are very well documented. **What do you dislike about Qlik Sense?** There are occasional bugs with the platform. The support team is quite responsive. They resolve any issues immediately. Blendr supports a wide range of connectors, but some of the connectors are missing a few endpoints. We'll have to raise a support request, the team resolves that very fast. **Recommendations to others considering Qlik Sense:** Have a list of all the evaluation criteria handy. Expect to run into some issues on the way, we observed that the issues are handled very fast. **What problems is Qlik Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a SaaS company. Our product fetches data from various CRMs, does some analysis and present it to the user. We use Blendr to handle all the communication with the CRMs. We found that Blendr does that part gracefully. We did not run into issues like rate-limits or expired tokens. Blendr also handles the API changes automatically. Embedding Blendr into our SaaS platform was easy with the wide range of embedding options they provide. ### 2. Too many applications are going to this model and forgetting that not everything has to be cloud. **Recommendations to others considering Qlik Sense:** Qlik Sense is a very strong end to end solution, but like any product in the analytics world it is not THE solution for everything. Users like the app in an enterprise setting. When using other Qlik products they integrate well. If you are a View environment and want to move to a more user friendly self service environment this would be a good migration. The road map is solid, if you can be patient and update constantly Qlik has a good plan. Mobile integration is solid. On the admin side, server management is great, I would rate it better than several other tools I have used. User management is great. **What do you dislike about Qlik Sense?** Half baked features. Work in process tool improvements that could make life easier but seemingly feel abandoned. Not using SQL/Data standards for customizing and shaping your data in app is frustrating. Set analysis and the methods for shaping data are not intuitive. Too much reliance on integration of other Qlik tools. nPrinting is a terrible solution. Version control is terrible unless you invest in another Qlik tool. Too much reliance on extensions, and the official Qlik Branch site for extensions is poorly maintained. Too much reliance on partner products for things that should just be in the app. Barely any good documentation or up to date training books and or classes out side of the official Qlik ones. Community feels very hit or miss, and many solutions provided require hard work arounds or are unusable in most environments. **Recommendations to others considering Qlik Sense:** If are already a Qlik customer with View, Sense is a no brainer. It is easier to implement global self service and get end users up and running. If using QVD files and other Qlik products it makes sense as well. Definitely test against all major BI tools. Sense has a place and is perfectly functional. Architectural review will be key to ensure performance, and user testing before making any decision as well. Ultimately I think a lot of the decision hinges on whether or not you are okay with reliance on extensions or want a totally out of the box solution. Start with a "Seeing is believing" Workshop and you'll find out very quick that Qlik Sense will match your requirements. **What problems is Qlik Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?** First we used Qlik Sense only to create Dashboards for our Supply Chain (Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Reporting, Purchasing Cockpit, Production Reporting, Customer Service Level, Master Data Quality, etc.) But in the meantime also other departments recognized the success and the power to make decisions based on data. So Controlling, Logistics and Sales Department are using Qlik now. The Quality department and HR will be the next departments... So one benefit is to "push" our company to a data driven company by using Qlik Sense. Other benefits are: Savings of more than 220.000 EUR for better inventory allocation (transport of slow/no moving items from one plant to another plant with requirements) Transparency and much better control of our Supply Chain With Qlik Sense "BI" makes fun. The SAP Business Warehouse was not very user-friendly and so nobody used that system and therefore we had no reporting at all (only Excel sheets) And now we can avoid the "monkey business" to downlad tons of data manually from SAP and create time conusming Excel-files.
