But what I have been able to implement and develop leaves me very surprised and I know that in many places where it is used it will help to make the first bottleneck more efficient in many companies. Having all the information in the same place. It is simple to use and configure. It has compatibility with many types of data, which helps make the step of replicating the information to the same place as simple as possible. **What do you dislike about Qlik Replicate?** The downside of replicate is the amount of sources it currently has. I understand they are working on adding more information sources and destinations, but this is currently their biggest downside. Replicate delivers what it promises and doesn't have many downsides. **Recommendations to others considering Qlik Replicate:** If you have problems or long times in the first step of the development of a data warehouse. Replicate is for you. The implementation is very simple. You do not require many skills to be able to start it. The best thing is that its graphical interface helps make it simpler to choose the source of the data, the tables and the destination. You can apply some simple validations that in development could take days to implement and test. Without a doubt a great tool that will help you have better results in a short time. **What problems is Qlik Replicate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having multiple sources of information is one of the biggest problems in the company. the first step is to have everything in the same place. Replicate helps make this step the least painful, it becomes the easiest step. I have tried some sources like mysql, snowflake, postgresql, SQL server, oracle, and I have not had a problem in any of them. ### 2. Qlik has helped me to reduce loading times when I need to work with very big databases. Third of all, I also liked that it allows to consolidate data and offers cloud service. Qlik Replicate has helped me to load all this heavy databases, consolidate data and share it. With other platforms, my databases took a lot of time to load and that affected my productivity, so QLIK Replicate has helped me to reduce loading times and therefore increase my productivity. Alos, I have been able to make changes in the data without having to wait for hours until the changes are applied. ### 7. It is very easy to install and make the product up-and-running. Also, the UI is very user friendly and self explanatory. Once you have the configuration done on the backend database and on SAP Application layer, it is pretty straight forward to start replicating data. **What do you dislike about Qlik Replicate?** There are still quite a few bugs in the tool, either depending on the particular system connected, or more like a design problem. Then it comes to support, I unfortunately cannot give 100/100 marks to the support. Simply because the problems are not well addressed, lack of documentation and the Knowledge base is not rich enough for a tool that's in the market for such long time. Hopefully Qlik will improve this. **Recommendations to others considering Qlik Replicate:** Please run through a very precise POC, since your particular system can be customized which might not be out-of-the-box. Integrity: The target data must reflect the complete result of all changes made to the source data during the replication process. Consistency: If a change affects different tables, rows, or files, the copy must reflect these changes consistently across all affected tables, rows, or files. Latency: The replication process must aim at keeping latency at a minimum.
