QL Customer is a customer data platform (CDP) that collects all of a retailer’s customer interactions in one place. With data that updates in real time, teams get one shared, current picture of each customer’s behavior, preferences and journey, instead of fragments spread across separate systems. QL Customer can also serve as a complete customer master. It handles both B2B and B2C customers and supports multiple person types. This lets retailers manage consumers, business accounts and the contacts within those accounts in a single system. A simple front-end tool lets staff look up and update customer records without technical help. The platform is designed to share data, not lock it away. External applications can subscribe to specific subsets of customer data and receive updates automatically when predefined trigger criteria are met. This means each connected system gets only the data it needs, when it needs it. All integrations are API-based, which makes it easier to connect QL Customer to the rest of a retailer’s technology stack. QL Customer is built for high volume, heavy traffic and high availability, so it can keep up with large customer bases and busy periods. It connects natively with the rest of the QL suite, including receipt data, outbound email, campaigns and the segmentation engine. Together with QL Campaign, it gives retailers the customer data foundation for personalized, behavior-based marketing. QL Customer is developed by Temalogic, a Scandinavian retail software company. It is part of the QL suite, alongside QL Campaign, QL Assortment and QL Price.
