## About Qase
Qase is a test management platform for QA and development teams responsible for quality. It brings CI results, automated test runs, and manual test cases into one system of record, so you can tell whether a release is ready from the data, not from a Slack thread or a judgment call. As a product grows, test results spread out. They sit across CI pipelines, spreadsheets, and issue trackers, with no single view tying them together. Requirements lose their link to test outcomes, so when something breaks in production it's hard to reconstruct what was tested. That's a tooling problem, not a team problem, and it's what Qase is built to fix. What you get: - A unified results view: Automated and manual results from CI/CD, test frameworks, and manual runs in one place, with requirements linked to test cases so coverage gaps are visible. - Release readiness reporting: Pass rates, coverage gaps, and open blockers in a shared dashboard, so the go/no-go call comes from one view instead of informal consensus. - Automation that keeps pace: Qase connects to Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium, and uses AI to convert manual test cases into automated scripts. You review what it drafts before anything runs. - Core test management: Test cases, test plans, test runs, defect management, a rich REST API, and webhooks to trigger builds in your CI. - MCP Server: The AI tools in your development stack can connect to Qase and work with your test data, cases, runs, coverage, and defects, as part of how your team already builds. - 35+ bidirectional integrations with the tools you already use, including Jira and Slack. Create an issue without leaving the app; get notified in Slack when a run starts. Qase also offers an MCP server, so AI assistants and coding agents can read and write your test data directly. Qase fits teams with a dedicated QA function and teams where developers write and own tests alongside their code. Both are valid ways in. Organizations use it to make quality visible and ship with more confidence.

Overall, Qase is a game-changer for test management. It has significantly improved our testing processes, collaboration, and productivity. Highly recommended for any team looking to enhance their test management capabilities!

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

Everything is nice about Qase. Can't say what I dislike.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qase has addressed several key challenges we faced in our test management processes. It has significantly improved our organization and documentation of test cases. With Qase, we can easily manage and update test cases, ensuring that all team members are on the same page. It has enhanced our team’s efficiency and collaboration, allowing us to focus more on testing and less on administrative tasks. ### 4. For me as a QA, this platform is the best for software testing. It has all function needed for QA.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vannak R. | QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

The first thing helpful about Qase is that its file order. Its Folder view is easy to track test case. It also has Test Suite that has good UI that I can easily implement my test case. Test Plan, Test Run which I use in daily work. Its flow of creating defect is good that make QA and dev team easy to work. Moreover, related to creating test case, it has parameter feature for me to use. Furthermore, related to test run, I can use all important filter such as Assignee, Assigned To,Status, Priority. The most useful feature is that we can integrate with Slack bot service when I create a defect, so I can send it Slack channel to dev team. One thing I love about Qase is their custome service support is fast and accurate.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

1. In Test run, the focused test case is hard to see. There should have better background color that is easy for me to see.
2. In Test Suite, I want to search by Test Suite name, but there's no this feature.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I faced a bug which makes me difficult to work, I reported, then they fixed it.

1. Test executions and test repository - Too easy to use
It's really a great help in daily use

- Very convenient templates for test cases,

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

I wouldn't say I like that the previously opened test case does not hide when you start writing a new one (quick creation).

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qase is an excellent test management system for storing test cases, running test runs, and reporting to management about the conducted testing. Thanks to this, my test cases are properly organized and I save time when preparing reporting documents.

 ### 9. QASE: A Game-Changer for Our Small Development Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

What I love most about QASE is that it is user-friendly and integrates exceptionally easily. Setting it up was easy, and soon became part of our daily operations we couldn’t do without. The test cases become easy to manage through the platforms intuitive design connected well with GitHub, Jira, and Playwright thus had a positive effect on the amount of work done within the company. Another great thing is their client service; their personnel are always available to help us whenever there is an issue.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

My overall outlook on the quality of the QASE is good, but still there are complaints. With Playwright automated tests produced some problems as each Playwright test step turned into a separate test case at QASE and there was no way to solve the problem. Still, exporting tests from QMetry was impossible in this program thus complicating the entire integration process. However, I overcome these inconveniences by running regression tests via QASE twice a month.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team has been supported by QASE to fix some crucial issues. Due to the fact that our project board is hosted on GitHub, it's worth mentioning its usefulness of integration with it. Due to this integration our testing processes are in line with the development workflow making the work more efficient and productive. Moreover, the Playwright reporter of QASE changed the game for our automated tests. With this functionality, managing and analyzing automated tests can be easily done.

 ### 10. Excellent staff and customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saurabh P. | Network Services Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

I am not a Qase user. My role has been primarily working with purchasing licenses, configuring SSO and setting up users for Qase. During all those tasks, sales and support have been very helpful. There responses are quick and accurate that has helped move the process along for my staff to use Qase.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

As mentioned before, I am not a direct user of Qase, however form my limited usage, I can't think of anything I dislike.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps for creating Test cases and Integrating with Jira

 ### 11. Very convinient system

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

I'm impressed by how fast, efficient, amiable, and responsible the team's support is. It will do its best to solve the problem even if it takes hours.
Pros:
Integration with a large number of systems is available.
Very convenient system of tracking test cases, and sharing results of test runs.
Very easy to get data to analyze the test run's results.
Easy to update test cases without opening them.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

The new releases usually have a lot of bugs and take many affords to make it work correctly while sending reports for autotests

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy control the test documentation, convinient to share test results with the command

 ### 12. Very smooth customer support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

We are still testing the platform, but I have already been impressed by the quick support via the chat - almost instant help and actually helpful. My issue was not clear right away but on the next day I already received a solution to my technical issue, related to the Jira Cloud integration. Based on my experience as a previous support rep in a MSFT company and more, this was very nice.
In addition to that, the platform is smooth and fast - at least for now while testing its features. We will see if everything continues being smooth once we have a lot of data running. But so far it has been the platform that fulfills most of our internal requirements and long-term goals. Integrations work really easy, just with a couple of clicks.
The biggest plus is having unlimited view-only users. This can help a lot to use our documentation and test cases for onboarding non QA team members (as an example).

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

I know it is an "enterprise feature" but having a custom URL for the company as an entry point to log in would be nice to have in lower tiers too. It would make usage and login clearer for the whole organization.
More comments would come up once we have more experience using the platform, for sure.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing test cases, streamlining processes. Measuring time spent in testing to use internal resources better.

 ### 13. The best Tool in the market In my opinion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruben T. | Tester, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

I have used TestRail for many years now, until one day I needed a tool to create a suite of test cases fast and free. I didn't do much research to come to qase.io and was shocked at how structured, user-friendly, and well-organized it is compared to other tools such as TestRail. I was sad that I only needed this tool for 1 task, but the experience that it left was so good that I needed it. After a year I started a new job in. a new company and I was so happy to know that they were using Qase.io as one of our main testing tools.

So now after a year or so working with Qase.io, I have a strong opinion bout it. Let's talk about goods first.

Documentation - oh, how I loved the information I could find about everything in Qase.io, they have written about everything possible. This makes Qase so easy to use when you have answered everything you need.

Customer support - When I don't have time to look for the answer in the documentation customer support is the place I go second. They answer messages in 1 minute at max and give a comprehensive answer to any question that I have, that's insane. I love the polite and friendly support team which helped me, and even rescued me a couple of times. I love it.

UI/UX - this is something that Qase can be proud of. After TestRail their UI and interface overall feel like a charm for the eyes, the color pallet, font style, button placement, and styles are so good, carefully picked and well placed that I couldn't remember any case that I needed to search for something to find. That's a 100% stand out from the competitors

Integration with reporting - This is another cool feature that we use daily. When you have the manual and automation cases in the same place and can see reports in one place that's a cool benefit that not everyone can offer to a QA team.

Implementation - implementing such functionalities, like reporting and automation integration isn't that hard, it is straightforward and if you are lost, the documentation will catch you.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

There is one downside at this moment in my opinion.

Qase.io is much younger than its competitors and there are some functionalities, which aren't there - YET.

I mean they have a newsletter and video conference where they explain the path of the company and what will be added to Qase shortly, which is greater. And their delivery rate isn't that bad either, so in a couple of years, this drawback cannot be considered any longer.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our test cases, test suits, test plans, test runs, and reporting are in Qase. It has took all the burden of testing documentation on its shoulders for our company and it is doing greate

 ### 14. Good flexibility and settings according to project requirements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

1. Parametrization - using 3 parameters I can create 12 test cases using only 1, which helps me to save time without decreasing effectiveness and making a huge amount of cases
2. Shared steps for test cases - popular design also helps to speed up test case creation for flows that can have several same reproduction steps
3. Mute test cases in a test run - helps when you have blocked result, but it doesn't affect the milestone scope, and test run, in that case, can be passed and not failed
4. Great support - a support engineer helped me with questions, then created a short demo video and sent it to me to email

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

1. Design - sometimes there are too many white spaces and modals, they are not divided visually. Not a big problem at all though.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To manage the test process and coverage for the fast-growing product, save time, and good traceability of requirements and test results

 ### 15. Excellent project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Themis G. | Teach Lead QA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

The user interface is very simple. Adding new users and integrating them has been fairly easy. The way we perform regression, by assigning test cases to specific users or adding fields to the test cases we create, is so awesome.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

There are some cases when for example I want to Unclone a test cases. Create shared steps for BDD cases.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using test rail before but the UI for QASE is so much better.

 ### 16. Good test management test and excellent support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 👩‍💻Abigail A. | QA Lead Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

I like the connection with a lot of tools and automation framework. The option to generate code from manual steps with chatgpt. And that is free to 3 members. The support is excellent I always get my issues solved.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

The only thing that I dislike is that paid options force to 3 users. As individual QA that needs to evaluate some products the free trial sometimes is limited, request extend the trial is good but could be better don't force to 3 users to get advanced options

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Add a option to non developer or automation can run the automated tests and get insights in a web page.

 ### 17. A Versatile Test Management Tool which is easy to use for small or big complex projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evgenia A. | Software QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

Intuitive Interface: Qase is user-friendly. Setting up projects, defining test suites, and creating test cases is a breeze, regardless of the project's complexity. I can group them by feature, priority, or any other criteria that makes sense for the project.
The interface is clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I need, collect tests for test run and many other things.
Qase's free plan is a great starting point.
What I like most is the Qase support team. They are incredibly responsive and helpful, usually resolving any issues I have through their chat feature almost immediately. This level of support is essential, especially when working on complex projects where time is of the essence.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

would be nice to try traceability matrix if not integrated with JIra

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All my test cases are well organised now and I can easyly and quicly find what I need.

 ### 18. Qase revolutionized our test management work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Almir B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

I'm a software developer with a big background on testing. Qase is a very nice tool that helped our team to organize as manage our everyday testing jobs. The interface is well build and doesn't need a lot of work to understand the way things are built. Now we could create test case in a fraction of time as before! A great boost on our productivity. Another thing that we like too much, is the number os integrations Qase supports, as JIRA and Github. The reports helped us to track points of enhancement on our web app interfaces, a thing we didn't have before Qase.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

On de opposite of the basic Qase usage, the advanced features are a bit challenging to learn without studying the docs. It took some time to get used with some functionalities. The integration with JIRA also generated some trouble, but nothing we didn't overcome with a little struggle.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qase is solving the problem of mantaining a test routine working flawessly thorough the time. That is something a little difficult to get without a good tool when you have a big team of testers. Centralyzing the management of test cases (with Github and JIRA integrations) helped us a lot to achieve this.

 ### 19. Outstanding support when needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Qase?**

Qase provides a nice UI and a lot of useful features

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

I don't have much experience with Qase, so I am not sure if this is not possible or I did not found it yet, but I see that it's not that customizable as other tools (e.g: What fields to be displayed on the repository page).

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us documenting the test cases.

 ### 20. A Year with Qase: A Convenient and User-Friendly Tool for Easy Test Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nazar G. | QA Test Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

I have been using Qase for a year and can say that it is a convenient and user-friendly service that is easy to set up and use. I also appreciate that there is a free trial period, making it easy to demonstrate the tool to clients who are hesitant about using a test management tool. Moreover, when I encountered an issue, the support team provided prompt and high-quality assistance.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

Personally, I cannot point out any significant drawbacks in usage as the provided features completely satisfy the tasks I perform.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qase helps me conveniently and quickly describe test cases and conduct runs, with subsequent issue logging or task completion.

 ### 21. Very organized and clean UI, easy to manage Test Plan, Test Run and most importantly prompt support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mukesh R. | Lead QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Qase?**

Well Organized and cleaned UI
Easy to manage Test Plan and Test Run
Prompt support
Easy to migrate test cases from other test management tools and very easy to implement
Test Repository mindmap view gives a good understanding on test coverage

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

One thing they can improve is creating simple csv import template for importing test case

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a mindmap view or test repository to give more detail view on test coverage
It also help converting manual test case to automated test case using their AI tool

 ### 22. Clean UI, easy to use and great for managing project testing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

-It's easy to use, to configure, to setup integrations.
-Support chat via the website has been speedy, insightful and incredibly useful. As I have learned to use the tool, which did not take long due to how user friendly the UI is, I have asked questions via the chat and had almost immediate responses from the Qase team.
-It has a robust number of features that help bolster the testing process.
-As it is web based, implementation will be easy.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

- Tickets can be raised via integration in Jira from test runs (which is great!) but not directly from the "Defect" section.
- Limited functionality to support exploritory testing
- Burndown chart not available but is on the roadmap

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to esablish and encourage use of a test process that previously did not exist. Also builds a repository where previously there was no documentation to reference.

 ### 23. Qase is the most reliable and user-friendly test case management tool I’ve used!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Borek K. | QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

Qase excels with its user-friendly design and top-notch customer support. The setup was seamless, and integration with our existing tools was hassle-free. Its feature set aligns well with our requirements, and we rely on it monthly for regression and release testing. I highly recommend it for its comprehensive, shareable reports!

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

It can be slow at times and tends to lag, which can make tasks challenging.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's easy to manage test documentation and convenient for sharing test results with the team.

 ### 24. A great tool for an architectural approach to testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tatiana K. | QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

This is my first third party testing tool. It was recommended to me and I began to master it with pleasure.
I really like the fact that the application has a convenient, intuitive user interface, so I can simply send the links to the manager and know that he will not have to spend too much time looking through the test documentation.
And it's great that I can upload a sequence of steps in order to attach text to the error description.
The most significant advantage for me is the formation of the test documentation architecture - now I understand the testing process better.

I would especially like to mention the product support service. I was very surprised to see such prompt and friendly support. Now I just want to write to them because they cheer me up.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

Personally, I miss the ability to generate checklists and test scripts without diving into writing a test case. I would really like to write a checklist and upload it. It would be convenient.

I would also really like to be able to customize the testing process in the form of a diagram. For example, a multi-stage testing scenario. Of course, I now use graphical tools for this. But I'm very interested in how Qase team would solve this problem.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I am the only tester on the project, the application solves my problem of the complete lack of test documentation. My Excel documents were constantly getting lost and out of date, but now I can write well-designed cases and share them with the team

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

It was really easy to understand how to work with it. The support team is really amaizing, they always give very quick answers and have a lot of useful video guides.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

New features are adding veeery slowly. The paid version is a bit expensive.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be integrated with a bunch of others apps, user-friendly interface for organizing, tracking and sharing test cases and executing test-runs

 ### 26. Effortlessly intuitive with excellent UI for immediate productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

The user interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to navigate and find all the important features without getting bogged down by unnecessary options. All the essential functionalities, such as test case creation, execution and defects tracking, are readily accessible and straightforward to use.

One of the standout features is how incredibly easy it is to write test cases. The tool allows you to write test steps in a clear, readable format that anyone on the team can understand and follow.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

Nothing so far. If there is a problem, the support team is always quick to help.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have all the test cases for all our projects in one place, it's quick to write and execute them, integration with Jira helps with speeding up the process of reporting and updating issues and connect them to our test cases. We use the Create quick test option to plan the features we are going to test while an app or a website is in UI design phase.

 ### 27. Outstanding Test Management Application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa d. | QA Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

The beautiful UI which is also intuitive, the many capabilities and integrations they offer, as well as outstanding support.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

The only thing I'd like to see is custom defect fields (for allowing seamless integration with JIRA)

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increased visibility of testing activities for relevant stakeholders. Centralized test management for manual and automation testing which makes my job as QA Lead a lot easier.

 ### 28. Quick and Responsive Support.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

Very responsive support. Responded to my need for a backend change in less than a business day.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

I have found nothing to dislike about Qase.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe this product is helping us solve patient data issues, but I am just an identity admin.

 ### 29. Qase is good and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

It's easy to use, fast
i like the shared steps, it makes creating test case easier

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

downsides I think is assining a test run to two persons is not possible, you have to create 2 identical test runs to do that

I wanted to have 1 test run with 10 test cases, then I want that 10 test cases to be executed by 2 persons. I'm ok having 20 test cases inside of that run to achieve that

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Test case management tool and visibility. I like the dashboard of a test run

 ### 30. Best Test Case Management Tool I've used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Regina Anne D. | QA Lead / Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

I am using Qase since 2018 and it has been my staple tool for every project we handle where we are assigned for test case management. It is very easy to use and test execution is a breeze, the report generated by the tool also looks good!

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

There are still room for improvement, and I'm so glad the the Qase team are so open for suggestions

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely solves the organization of test cases and generation of reports

 ### 31. Quick response and answers every query

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kiruthiga R. | Automation QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

They not just clears our query but they also send screenshot and doc to understand it better

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

There are some minor bugs that are annoying such as if I click the suite from the list it's not focussing the correct one

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To maintain manual and automated cases in same page

 ### 32. The best helpdesk ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olga K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

We started using Qase after extensive research in the market. Qase has many significant advantages compared to other TMS.

1) There's an excellent free plan. It's more than a trial version; you have enough time to explore the app and better understand if it suits you.
2) Excellent and convenient functionality. The entry threshold for Qase is very low. It's immediately clear how it works. Simple and intuitive interface. Everything you need to write and manage test cases. You decide the level of detail of the test cases.
3) The best helpdesk I've ever encountered. They answer all your questions, try to help and understand. They respond lightning-fast 24/7.
4) Excellent guidelines and instructions on how to use Qase and what functionalities it has. There are text, video, GIF images - everything the user needs.
5) Seminars are organized for beginners, where the functionality is explained in detail, and you can ask your questions.
6) Integration with redmine.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

1) You cannot export and import test runs; only repositories can be transferred.
2) There is potential for improving the handling of requirements. Currently, it's just a list with statuses. It would be convenient to have a summary of requirements: the total number of requirements, how many with each status, and how many with linked test cases. Something like a table so that you can view it without filtering, to create a matrix of requirement-to-test case relationships. Ideally, with the ability to export such a table. There is no coverage of requirements with test runs.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Creating a unified space where test cases are located.
2) Streamlines project work with a few testers. Distributes tasks among them.
3) Records testing results. Now it's visible what, when and who it was tested.
4) Testing reports are available to management.

 ### 33. The best TSM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anton U. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

What I appreciate most about Qase is its intuitive and user-friendly interface, which significantly streamlines the test management process. The ability to easily organize, track, and report on test cases in one centralized location has been a game-changer for our team. Moreover, Qase’s seamless integration with our existing tools has enhanced our workflow efficiency and reduced the manual effort required for test management. The platform’s collaborative features also enable better communication and coordination among team members, ensuring everyone is aligned and can contribute effectively. Overall, Qase has not only improved our testing process but also positively impacted our project outcomes.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

I have no complaints. QASE is the best TSM

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All in one system convenient interaction between the automation team. and manual testing

 ### 34. Qase is excellent and just requires a few more features for a perfect score

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

The UI is amazing, very helpful support team, the test runs are displaying all the information needed simply. Integration is somewhat simple, occasionally have trouble integrating with the automation tools however they turn out fine.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

Needs more functionality, ability to turn time tracking off, it's almost always wrong, I would also like items on the roadmap to actually be developed and not just left as empty promises, there are very old items, what is the point of being able to request features if nothing is being done & over the last year or two of using Qase i've not seen any helpful updates, the requested functionalities would be much more helpful, there is a reason people are requesting them!!

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qase helps with managing test cases and scenarios and helps to easily track how the test runs are going. It helps to have the information laid out simply.

**Official Response from Ilya Volkov:**

> We appreciate you sharing your thoughts about Qase!

Whilst we aim to address as much of our customer feedback as possible, it's not always possible to address everything as much as we would love to.

We do prioritize our roadmap based on customer feedback and in the last year we have delivered quite a few things that were previously requested on our feature request board at https://qase.canny.io/feature-requests/

To highlight just a few of those delivered feature requests, we have added:
- requirements' traceability reporting
- email and in-app notifications about important events happening in your workspace
- custom result statuses for test cases when performing them in the runs
- ability to set default repository view
- filtering by tags

We will continue improving Qase based on your - and other Qase users' - feedback, and will be addressing quite a few other most requested additions and feature requests moving forward - so stay tuned for the updates!

 ### 35. Efficient Test Case Organization and Automation Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

I like how I can easily organize test cases and I have all the flexibility to input fields related to my test cases such as pre-conditions and custom fields. I like how flexiblility of the automated test run features which easily allows users to send test results to their platforms through custom automated tests. It easily integates with many platforms, GitHub is the one my team uses and it is very useful to be able to create tickets on GitHub from Qase test cases.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

I Qase allowed users to edit existing defects to link to Github if I forgot to do so when creating the defect. It would be better if Qase allowed users to remove test cases from existing test runs. It would also be more helpful if the automated test documentation could be more centralized and provide more examples of the features integrating with Qase.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing test cases and allowing the whole team to view the results. Integrating with GitHub we use to manage tickets so I can upload my results in our tickets and create new ones based on bugs I find. Qase also allows my team to view automated test results and assist in automation to make our testing more efficient.

 ### 36. Qase is a high quality, modern test management tool with great pricing options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan B. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

Qase has a clean interface and UX to keep track of different software tests, and has many options to fit your needs. We don't even use all the features on our small team. The support team responds very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

Qase is constantly updating, and still under development, so some things have not been implemented yet, but it's still functional and useful.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to keep track of manual test cases and test runs.

 ### 37. Great Things In Small Packages

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colin H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

The best things about Qase are its ease of use, intuitive software, has great support (immediate responses via chat), always being developed and improved via community suggestions.
I looked at the main competitors in the same price bracket, most of them are very inflexible, tied into Jira directly using test cases as jira tasks. I fould this just causes more issues, in an environment where the development and project management teams already have complicated Jira workflows. Keeping outside of this was important. However, when raising defects, Qase makes an excellect job of interfacing with Jira to directly create Jira bug tasks (can integrate with Jira in a couple of button clicks). The best of both worlds.
I use Qase on a daily basis with multiple tests per day. Its very easy to manage (and separate) multiple clients/tests.
The initial implementation and 'getting started' with Qase was painless. And even easier now as they have many online training videos.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

There are very few downsides. I guess Qase is still a young product, and there are a lot of good suggestions present in their road map that i would like to see introduced. This will take a little time, but they are progressing well. As it stands right now, the product is excellent, puts competitors to shame.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing an extremely easy way to create test cases/steps. Also very flexible if changes to cases have to be made.
I can easily see at a glance my record of past test projects undertaken, handy if i'm asked if XYZ project has been reviewed.
This is far better than trying to manage projects via Excel, or some of the competitors that rely on Jira for cases/projects.

 ### 38. Easy to use and great customer support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

We are a small team and the price is very reasonable for the features that Qase offers. We have already explored a lot of free features and just now upgraded to start up subscription since we liked the platform so far. There were some hiccups with the subscription but the customer support was fast iand helpful n addressing our concern. Excited to explore more after this upgrade.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

Traceability reports are only for JIRA integration. Since we use GitLab, this is one feature we cannot use yet. We also wanted to generate

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qase offers shared steps which helps QA create tests faster. The organization of tests are also better, especially for uploading test artifacts, which can be done per test step. We also use export to PDF when presenting final test results to other teams.

 ### 39. Simple, UI friendly, functional

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jahad A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

- Sharing test reports is so handful.
- Cloning test cases and using shared steps are so helpful .
- And also I liked integration with YouTrack and automation tools like Cypress.
- I like your support team when I tried automation integration with Cypress and faced with the issue they were so reachable and helpful.
- I like the way you improve the website and functionality

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

- I couldn't find a space for documentation of each project, which I would like to add.
- It's not possible to create a shared steps, including other shared steps or get there steps from any test case, it will be so handy if I already write a test case and steps, but want to use in one shared step to create new test cases.
- it is not possible to create a shared link containing specific test cases I can only share suit with all cases.
- Chosen filter parameters in test case repository are not in the URL . So when I want to share the search result, the parameters of search will not be shared.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TCLC management. Preparing test documentations exporting them to PDF. I would lik to mention especially the PDF export version. This is so clear and such perfectly suitable for representing to client. Test run result as a history of feature implementations and test works on it.

 ### 40. Great support in chat.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

I asked questions to 3 different support persons in chat and all of them responded quickly and friendly. Every respond was precise and when needed an example code was presented for my case exclusively. Still investigating the functionallities but mostly satisfied and I would say there's no worries when you find something difficult to understand, just ask chat support then.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

API and some of the feature seem not enough documented.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not in charge of QA but have had write test code. Test cases were managed in Google Sheets and since it wasn't a large scale project there was no problem, but I believe it won't help in large scale project. Writing requirements in natural language, automating tests and making them related should reduce management cost.

 ### 41. Easy to use and super powerful TMS

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

Sometimes it's tricky to customize the pipeline integration but the support team helps a lot

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation testing with smooth integration into Bitbucket

 ### 42. Our Team Loved QASE!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

QASE became very fast a part of our daily routine as it was very user-friendly and easy to integrate. Customer support was top-notch, they helped with a seemingly big problem really fast, very professional!

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

While we didn't have a issue with it right now - it is a little bothering that some data will be stored outside of our network. Would our team get a govermental contract it would be problematic for us.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped us improve the overall effectivness of test case creation and execution and we will defenitely work further with QASE

 ### 43. Incredible service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

The service and attention to both free and paying customers is incredible, the tool is something surreal, the practicality makes the day-to-day better and easier to work with.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

Unable to edit the PDF report of the runs

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The organization of tests benefits day-to-day work.

 ### 44. Helpful in managing test cases

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

It helps us keep all of our test cases aligned

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

Can be slow at time and tends to lag which makes things hard

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had trouble aligning our test cases in one place and integrating them with JIRA

**Official Response from Ilya Volkov:**

> Hello there!

We're sorry to read that you're having slow response times intermittently - this is not a product experience we want to deliver. I can confirm that we haven't had reports of such an issue from other users recently, but let's ensure that we have this resolved for you!

Could I ask you to message our support team in the in-app chat, or send an email to support@qase.io so that we can help troubleshoot it for you?

 ### 45. best app to manage Manual and Automated Test cases

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro S. | QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

easy to use, UI is user-friendly and their support team are the best of the best

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

their documentation may be hard to understand sometimes, but their customer support live chat works really great when troubleshooting

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

manage manual and automated tests, and really helpful when showing reports to stakeholders

 ### 46. One of the best Free Test Case Management Tool out there!!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitin P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Qase?**

- Familiar Environment: It's like any other case management tool like TestRail or QC. I've used both before and it's same like those. Say, importing/exporting of test cases, test case types, folder structure, bug tracking, and many more.

- Freemium: One of the best things I've found. There are free tools out there but this one is the perfect solution for any QA Team with 3 members or less.

- Read Only: Another great feature which is much appreciated. Even with three read only users, there are n number of users who can still view the test cases and see the progress in the team.

- Integration: Most of the "free" tools are paid for this thing. But, looking at Qase, it doesn't only provide linking to Jira but there are a whole lot of platforms, you name it. Jira, Git, Bitbucket and what now. I've not even counted the 1% yet.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

- Minor common bugs: Even after a lot of good features, the application faces some ordinary bugs.

- Access Only Users: Of course, being on a free plan, it does provide 3 write users, which is great but it can be improved if the user threshold goes from 3 to 5. There are devs and clients who need access to look the progress.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of the market is filled with paid tools and Qase eliminates most of the problems in that field. Sometimes, even those paid tools doesn't have a good UI experience if you compare it with Qase. One of the best things I like personally is the Integrations which it provides at free of cost. Me and my colleagues can just go into Jira or Qase and see the defect(s) raised by any member and the tracking is easy.

 ### 47. Fantastic Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moaz A. | QA Engineer Intern, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

Excellent UI and UX.
Easy to learn and use.
Good hierarchical models.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

I didn't experience any downside when I used Qase.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing test cases and organising them in a good way.

 ### 48. Great software to build a QA department on.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Braiden S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Qase?**

Fantastic use simplicity and working with API integration. I was able to merge tickets to and from Jira with the add ons provided even with a free subscription. Functionality of the software is not held back due to subscription everything is basically usable where increase of subscription allows for an increase and growth of the department.
It being a web based service not dealing with IT having to screen everything uploaded or downloaded also makes the use very streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

No real issues seen thus far I will continue to use this program for EVT testing because I manage all testing in my Dev team.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Complete tranperancy of work being done. With testing it is sometimes hard to prove work done when only using Excel sheets. This has given me the ability to test as well as show work in testing being done. It also has helped expend testing cases and other aspects of out testing culture due to working with the developers and managing testing.

 ### 49. Awesome!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gotari S. | Application Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

1. Clear Categorisations.
2. Dashboard to understand the progress in quick manner.
3. Workspaces.
4. Customer support on the spot.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

There are not much dislikes about it. It is user friendly. So, No complaints.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clear Organisations of Test cases and understanding progress in simple manner

 ### 50. Very satisfied

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Qase?**

Qase provides a great capacity for integrations with a wide variety of tools. The support provided by the team is extremely efficient and fast. I currently consider Qase to be the best tool for test management today, so much so that I always recommend the use of Qase to our clients. Qase is a very easy to use and easy to implement tool, in our daily lives this is fundamental.

**What do you dislike about Qase?**

There are some features that don't yet exist in Qase and are sorely missed. For example, a mobile version so that managers can monitor indices, delete executions in bulk, Gherkin compatibility in other languages.

**What problems is Qase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have the ability to centralize test metrics in a single tool, facilitating a general overview of team capacity and performance.
