**What do you like best about PushPress?**

The Pushpress program, offers a solution for almost all elements of our business:  checking in customers, selling retail items, and managing memberships with robust reports on revenue streams.  The integration with the other apps we use like Sugarwod and Mailchimp are also nice.  The customer service with Nick Reyes in Kansas City, has been great too.  When we have an issue, they are quick to help us out.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

At first, we struggled with how the retail sales were classified in the program because of our accounting system.  However, we modified our journal ledger and just deal with the general classification (vs. breaking it apart).

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fact we can operate a cashless business is a value to me.  With PP, we can greatly minimize, if not reduce the use of cash in our operation.  Ultimately, having a system we don't really have to think about that is not hard to use, allows us to focus on the gym operation.

Simplicity and easy for people to sign up. App that is easy to use on the member side. I do not plan to switch every again. Always evolving and it has been built by gym owners.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

They do not have an app for the gym owners to do everything on. You have to go to the browser to do everything.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

User friendly software, amazing team, very responsive when issues arise, they go above and beyond in helping their clients with all aspects of their business. I have found that PushPress is extremely cost effective. I have used systems in the past that were more expensive, but less roust.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

If something changes there is a learning curve to get used to the change. 99% of the time I learn to appreciate the change, but it takes me a while to get used to it. I wish it was easier to customize billing, but I have implemented work arounds and the systems works for me now.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It handles all of my CRM needs. Even in the process of exploring some of the features that I haven't been using. There are a ton of automations that can be set up....and lots of support to get them set up. There is an active and engaged Facebook User group where other gym owners and Fitpros share information, ask questions and problem solve. The PushPress team is also there to deliver great content.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

The easy ( 6 hours to setup) end to end business site done by myself successfully :).
Adding plans is very very easy.
Sending emails to members as well, plus some capability to follow up on leads ( it is a bit mixed since I have Hubspot / CRM to do this)
Very good document management ( Waivers) and others fully integrated.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Not simple to add specific graphics, it is very hard to understand the metrics, the business webpage needs the ability to be re-designed, and the integration of the apps is not simple ( I'm still not capable to add workouts).
Very complicated Comp/Credit Card/ How to add a plan without messing up
how to run a credit card charge that fulfills a plan ( 3 installments)
No reminders yet
No app on my phone to administer people
A not known way to integrate with social media (Facebook and email campaigns)

**Recommendations to others considering PushPress:**

Start using it, I see it simple ( yes needs time) still it pays off, the major thing is that you command almost all the key features ( attendance, billing, some level of communication) and their price point is great

Problems:
1)How to ensure I do not lose clients and revenue ( making transitions from excel based to automated)
2) Tracking attendance
3) Bringing new leads
4) Increasing retention

Benefits:

I love the ease of use and the constant updating of different applications, they are very on top of what us users need and are willing to guide us through the process. I have been a user since 2011-2012 and I would never look into other companies due to the ease and communication thats available.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

nothing at all, i feel push press stays on top of trends and is willing to adapt to what the members want.

**Recommendations to others considering PushPress:**

Its the easiest platform available in its space, the fact that they are available 24/7 makes it that much easier, also they are / were all current gym owners and are a small business helping people in there community. There is no doubt push press is there for us small business owners, not just to make money but to help the community.

I am solving the problem of collecting payments from members, this makes it super easy so I don't have to worry about collecting payments and I can just focus on my job and thats to train and make these athletes the best possible athlete they can become.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

There are so many easy to use functions.  The customer service is phenomenal, they go above and beyond for their clients.  I have learned so much since being a customer.  The app for the clients is also great for them to sign up to classes, buy packages, etc.  The landing pages are easy to set up and to use.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I use a punch card system for my small group classes.  One thing that customers note that gets confusing is when they may have two active cards, they may start using the newer one prior to using up the remaining punches on the older card.  And then at times, that older card may expire or come close to expiring.  I have made it a point to instruct them to be sure and use all of their older punches first.  One other downside is not being able to send attachments to emails to clients.  Instead, you have to use a google doc form.

**Recommendations to others considering PushPress:**

I would strongly recommend Push Press for anyone looking into gym management software.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I literally learn something new on a daily basis I feel.  I am getting ready to run a promo for my monthly virtual membership.  I had set it up to run as 1 month free and then start to pay; however that does not require customers to enter in their credit card  -- workaround by awesome customer service - set it up as a $1 for the first month and THEN it will automatically charge the normal rate the subsequent months.  As far as problems I am solving with Push Press - it is the backbone of my business - it is how I track my revenue, the breakdown of my sales, my appointments - it is a one stop shop that works great for me!

Push press is a simple and user friendly processing system. It's easy to use. They have people to chat with if you have any questions on how to use their platform. They're constantly growing and improving. I LOVE that they create your website for you as well. It makes it a simple and easy package.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

We have no experienced any downsides to pushpress yet.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push Press helps us with tracking how much to pay our coaches. I love that it shows us our members bdays, leads, and it shows us members who haven't showed up in a while. It shows who's coaching and who's checked it. The store app has been a life saver as well. We use a tablet with the store app at our front desk where people can purchase items.

PushPress is simple to use and customer support is second to none!

The reporting side of things is lacking but they are working on it so I am okay with it for now and have made it work with our current needs.

**Recommendations to others considering PushPress:**

Give it a try, they have a free version so there is no risk trying it out. I started with that and grew to the point where I needed a few more integrations so upgraded. Either way, it is a great system.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use PushPress for billing and logging into classes by clients. The app is simple and easy to use for all of our customers even if they are not used their smartphone.
On our end of things, the dashboard is clean and simple so it has a small learning curve for our staff.

I like how everything is organized on the site. It is easy to find the tabs you are looking for and get where you need to be with minimal clicking.

The site lags in loading from time to time. I usually have to close it down and re-open it for it to work correctly.

It helps organize which coach is working in each class and who is attending. It also helps with forms that clients need to fill out and invoice.

Honestly, nothing at all, except that thing with my members being able to check themselves in from the AP, we could do without that.

Just do it, its easier to switch than you think and you'll save the time on the back end by not worrying about the same old issues you have now.

Again, the customer service. I love it. The program is very user friendly and they are always updating.

I don't really love the prorating membership feature. It's needs some twerks. I'm also not a fan of the sales tax reporting. It's not detailed enough.

Just try it!

I used Zen Plnner and I hated that I had to wait 24 hours to get a email response that usually didn't answer my question or solve the problem.

At the moment things are pretty good. They are always open to suggestions about how they can improve and evolve, and usually implement those things where they can.

Great option. Free option for newer & smaller businesses. Great customer support to help get you going and running smoothly.

Right now just automating as much of the gym management as possible. In the future as the gym grows, I will look to add some of their other paid services as I trust the company that much to handle other areas of my business as well.

Easy to learn to use for my clients and staff. From the App to our billing system- it's intuitive. Strong support. They think of things before I realize I need them. Easy to integrate with other software I use.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I can't "upgrade" a member's program. I need to cancel one plan and add a new one- that can cause issues with billing overlap and class reservations.

Tracking class attendance, tracking and processing payments. Forecasting growth and revenue. Maintaining class size with the reservation App.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I love seeing all the info on Dashboard and that I can easily see and access all the important info for that day! 
-Check-in's are easy and effortless. 
-Check-in Metrics and being able to easily see all of our reports... with graphs! ugh love.
-The app our members use to check in to classes
-Having the abiltiy to run Pre-orders for apparel that is accsessable to members on the app
-Connects directly to our SugarWOD
-Overall the software is easy to use, and I enjoy the simplicity of it. I'm happy we switched from our previous software!

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Before I say anything I'd like to mention, I've been using PP for less than a year and we switched from Triib. Triib had more features when setting up members/memberships that PP is lacking.

A couple of things:
-When adding a new member in person, the waiver process can be time consuming. If there was a quick way to add a member and once they're done filling out their personal info it automatically takes you to a waiver.

-Automatically adding a Membership contract upon signing up for a membership and sending an email to sign the contract. Or even getting an alert on the app when they RSVP/check-in, making them sign contract before it lets them complete a RSVP or check in?

-Our new members go through a foundations and a monthly membership is supposed to start as soon as that is done. So having an option where I can set a date to start the monthly membership in the future while being able to prorate the mebership to their prefrered billing date would be SO helpful. Right now I'm having to make notes on my caleandar to remind me to start a memebrship so that there's no lapse in membership. It isn't a terrible system, but If there was a way to make that happen it would make my life SO much easier.

-Dashboard:
--Class Waiting list, It would be great to see a complete waiting list on the dashboard where the check-in's are and not on a seperate page. I barely ever use the Check-in page to begin with.
--Members Birthdays, they disappear from the list on day of their birthday, would like to see the reminder ON their birthday.

**Recommendations to others considering PushPress:**

When switching over from another software give yourself at least a month to get all your members switched over. That was most annoying part. Be prepared that you will lose some members, but the switch will be worth it.

The main problem we solved is keeping class sizes and check-ins more organized.

The people behind the curtain. There's no such thing as a "perfect" system because many of us have different needs (and always will)... but the team at PP listens and does their best to build a platform that serves us all

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

As stated above, everyone has different needs and there are times I wish something would be higher on the priority list... but beyond that and a few technical things that they are already in the process of sorting out, I really don't have many dislikes

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My biggest hope and dream from my member management platform is to make my life simpler... and being with Push Press helps get me closer to that.

Controlling class sizes. COVID restrictions hit us hard and the ability to control class size and know who was in class in case of illness was a huge relief

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I set up my gym in no time after purchasing it from a burnt out owner. The back-end went from dumpster fire (inconsistent billing, duplicate accounts, missing info everywhere, no check-in, etc) to well-oil machine within a week. I thought it was too good to be true but 18 months later we're still running SMOOTH AS BUTTER BABY! The best part is that it simply works as promised.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Sometimes I want things to be over-customizable, such as landing pages, redirects, etc. But there isn't much to complain about here.

Stop hesitating, do it now! The top-notch support team is worth the switch from any other platform.

I don't have to worry about billing, memberships, reservations..... my only "worry" is running the gym. I can focus on helping my coaches grow, growing our membership, and even working out myself.

Generic auto generated e-mails saying "your plan has ended" - confusing to the customer. It needs to specify exactly what plan ended. For example we have a nutrition challenge and that plan ended, but people thought I had revoked their membership.

Tracking member attendance/at risk members, hands off billing, a historic tool for contact tracing if ever needed for Covid, planning for expected class size & different fitness levels. Easy communications via e-mail SMS.

Since moving over from ZP, we have better-streamlined our services, reduced cc fees, and increased awareness of our revenue streams for Nutrition and Hybrid Plans.
The best part is their customer service. You actually speak with someone and get a response quicker than any other software company I know. They are passionate about helping people!!

Nothing. It's way easier to use than ZenPlanner and the customer services blows ZP away.

There are a few features that could be improved, such as the ability to have customers purchase multiple items in a pre-order.

PushPress has eliminated our need for a paper waiver and file keeping system. Everything is automated and online. A few of the other things we love are that billing is automatic, members can charge themselves for products and update their profile on their own without our staff having to take time away from coaching to assist.

Book a call and explain exactly what you need. The team was very honest an upfront about what they can do and what they can't. Also, take advantage of their free setup call.

With my previous system Mindbody, it was so cumbersome that my staff couldn't operate it and I was forced to do everything myself. They didn't have digital documents so I had paper everywhere. Now we're 100% digital!

PushPress is very easy to use and the ramp-up is therefore quick. The support is great: for many issues, I can find a solution in the database. Whenever I have asked a question from the support group, the response is prompt and to the point.

I am missing the appointment scheduling feature (I hear this is in the plans). Right now it is possible to sell appointment slots, but I would like to see Acuity-type of scheduling feature.

Pushpress does an amazing job at giving owners a great insight as to how their business is doing. Whether it be checking sales, manging memberships, or even selling product pushpress is great. I have been using it now for about 2 months and haven't had any issues that the staff couldn't help me with.

Can't really think of anything that I have disliked with my experience thus far.

Pushpress runs my entire business. Without it I would have to work hours on end filling memberships and running reports. I have saved hours of work using pushpress.

It makes tracking payments, releases, and attendance a piece of cake.

It's not quite as intuitive for members as some competitors like Wodify.

It makes all the boring parts of running a gym relatively automated.
