"Powerful wi-fi dashboard and excellent technical support"

What do you like best?

Have been working with the team at Purple Wi-Fi for several months now and it's clear that it's well supported, with several new features released. The team are very proactive and regularly have follow up calls to try to ensure we have the best experience possible. The dashboard for managing the Wi-Fi is very flexiblle in terms of analytics/reporting and gives us some fantastic inghts.

What do you dislike?

We'd like to have more flexibility when it comes to designing e-mail campaigns off the back of Wi-Fi signups. This also applies to splash pages, although they are a bit more customisable. The best solution would be the ability to upload our own HTML.

Also, we would like to be able to download our weekly e-mail reports from the dashboard in the form of a PDF document. It would be great if we can get a monthly report in this format.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Greater marketing to our Wi-Fi network. The ability to follow up with people using the Wi-Fi and suggest events/offers they might be interesting.

The analytics also really helps us to know our audience better.

What do you like best?

I like it a lot because I work offline. It also monitors from remote locations, analyzes quickly and safely, the experience with purple wifi is unique with a complete and adaptable solution, the system is easy with many functions that are constantly updated to the appropriate methods for my control and development with the clients and close friends is the most appropriate wifi network in business, its operating system helps me guide the client, with a single platform and totally strong and secure, I like it a lot since it continues to provide me with that help I need to continue with my plans of business

What do you dislike?

few disadvantages purple wifi is incredible, I just can not save the data in my own database

I recommend it since it is easy to stay stable and work safely with remote lines

"Partner Review - Innovative company to work alongside"

What do you like best?

Using the Purple WiFi portal is really simple with all its user friendly features. Purple have a development team which works hard to consistently find improvements to the portal, ensuring it stays ahead of the competition. There is now a feedback feature forum too which allows you to leave a request, the more people that agree with that request, the larger chance there is of Purple creating it. It gives users and partners some control of what they require on the portal.

The company in general is also easy to work with. You are assigned an account manager, as well as working closely alongside employees in different areas of the business. We've managed to build a successful relationship with many Purple employees, to ensure we help each other when needed.

What do you dislike?

During the server switch there was a long period of roughly a month where the portal was very slow at times, hindering our day to day activities. Such as providing training for our customers but when the portal doesn't work, it can make us look unprofessional. However, we're fully aware that those changes needed to happen and in fact it was partly due to the improvements being made on the portal, which of course we are happy about.

Purple WiFi is a global leader in their marketplace, their provide an easy to use system which consistently has updated features. They listen to user advice to implement said features. The team behind Purple are also great to work with.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We work closely to Purple WiFi to solve any issues with new/current customers. The portal allows in depth training/demonstrations to prospect potential customers. The team we work with at Purple are also always on hand to support with questions or meetings.

Some features which solve popular problems are the TripAdvisor Review express in connectors, the email platform makes things easy for the end user, especially with all the automation options, and we are beginning to use the Logic Flow options more frequently as this solves many problems for business owners.

"A lot of functionality, not the most intuitive user interface"

What do you like best?

Purple provides a complete solution, it has almost all features and functionality that we could ask for. Their system is more mature than many of their competitors and things tend to work better.

What do you dislike?

The user interface is not very intuitive. It takes a while to figure out how to accomplish what seems to be fairly simple tasks. There is a fairly steep learning curve. Also, the functionality in terms of design is more limited than I would like. This gap is closed some by the ability to use custom code, but this makes it more difficult to execute, requiring a programmer (although they did provide some templates to help get us going).

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It is expensive, but you get a lot. With more time using the product, I expect the UI issues to be not as important.

"Easy to set-up and use Guest WiFi solution"

What do you like best?

The user friendly backoffice environment. And Purple offers more then only Guest WiFi like the marketing tool that comes with it. Also Purple gives us insights in the use of our venues.

What do you dislike?

Some things you need to figure out yourself because some parts are not that good translated to our native language.

We get insights in our customers by offering them free WiFi. Also we can reach out to them using the marketing tool that Purple offers.

"Purple WiFi valuable to a company "

What do you like best?

It's true when they say the company of Purple WiFi are valuable. They provide wifi easily and they were the first company to create such a high demand for needing wifi in the work place for when we do presentations and need the connection in a place we normally don't have it

What do you dislike?

I haven't had a bad experience yet to be able to explain my dislikes.

It is well worth the time setting up accounts and using them. It will make presentations and more so much easier.

It keeps track of data for me which then shows patterns and increases and decreases it makes that easier for me and the price is incredible

"We are happy with purple hotspot after using the different local solutions. "

What do you like best?

As a technical perspective easy to implement, and the analytics section on web UI of Purple. We can see the user details and determine our customer characteristics. In addition to all, we can easily compare the network usage of different locations.

What do you dislike?

We found the e-shot feature is quite slow for our marketing purposes. At the initial process, we thought that e-shots are working like sending e-mails

Sometimes we need more network related issues like configuring VPN when using Purple Hotspot and etc..

We know our users better and we decide our road map in terms of the details which we get from purple's analytics platform.

"Highland Council Public WIFi with Purple"

What do you like best?

The analytics is where Purple comes into its own - fantastic reporting and breakdown of data. The new portal is especially user friendly and helpful for setting up automated reporting

What do you dislike?

Not easy to edit spalsh pages etc Portal can be slow at times.

Fantastic Data analytics that we are sharing with internal and external shareholders.

What do you like best?

Purple solution is very simple to use and improves greatly Guest user WiFi experience

What do you dislike?

Sometimes users are confused with too many options offered on the splash page

First try it, you will soon see it is very simple to use and inexpensive compared to other products on the market. Provides great Guest WiFi experience for users, and their support is also super fast and efficient.

Currently one of the best solutions out there

POS locations need Guest WiFi and Purple has proven to be the best and most simple one to use.

Cost is insignificant also, which is always a good thing

"Missing viruses "

What do you like best?

I like it since it is very easy to use work in a comfortable and safe way. It is a multi functional program. It adapts to any kind of environment, whether in work or out of reach in remote places, purple wifi is very effective, constantly updated, Esexelente to work with clients and co-workers

I can not find you how to store the data in my own database,

What do you like best?

Making offline business more smart and feeding with Rich analytics. An optimal and most economic way to market to the customers. Always evolving with more technology.

What do you dislike?

There is not much to dislike as such, but would have been more grateful had purple would have given same amount of significance in Marketing as it does to European and U.S.

Strong platform. Knowledgable support team.

What do you dislike?

New Twilio approach is bad. The old SMS approach was much better. Twilio does not support all regions, and more expensive for Saudi and Middle East.

Support response time is slow.

"Very helpful marketing tool"

What do you like best?

Purple Wifi is ideal for combining guest wifi and marketing.

The customers get free Wifi and we have the possibility to send marketing material to the customers. We can also start short surveys to get to know the customer even better.

What do you dislike?

The dashboard has too long loading times.

Our customers now have the advantage of having Internet in our store. They can now use our app more conveniently.

What do you like best?

I can capture in a practical way the data of my clients and obtain it in a safe way this allows me to know their tastes and preference in order to offer them a better service.

All good except that the last update of the software I finish with the data that I had added to the cloud recently.

"Incredible Results"

What do you like best?

The ability to capture guest emails is incredibly powerful and effective. I've never seen anything grow a database like Purple Wifi can.

On the expensive side, but well worth it.
