Purple WiFi is a hotspot software with social login process that enables businesses to capture data, gain digital insights and a better understanding of their customers through market analytics, it can create a highly personalised experience for people in their venues using custom splash pages, SMS and eMarketing.
Purple provides a complete solution, it has almost all features and functionality that we could ask for. Their system is more mature than many of their competitors and things tend to work better.
What do you dislike?
The user interface is not very intuitive. It takes a while to figure out how to accomplish what seems to be fairly simple tasks. There is a fairly steep learning curve. Also, the functionality in terms of design is more limited than I would like. This gap is closed some by the ability to use custom code, but this makes it more difficult to execute, requiring a programmer (although they did provide some templates to help get us going).
Recommendations to others considering the product
It is expensive, but you get a lot. With more time using the product, I expect the UI issues to be not as important.
