Pūnaha is built for work where finding an answer is only one step. A team may also need to check a policy, apply business rules, get approval and keep a record of what happened. The platform brings enterprise AI search, BPMN-based business processes, DMN-based decision tables and CMMN-based adaptive case management together. A configured workflow can retrieve source-linked material, call an AI model, apply rules and wait for a person’s decision. Cases support work whose next step depends on new evidence rather than a fixed sequence. Teams can prepare knowledge in eight supported forms, including document sections and tables of contents, connected parent–child passages and wiki-style articles. The available options depend on configuration and supported processing models. Each organisation chooses where Pūnaha runs, which supported local or external AI models it uses and who can access its resources. Source references and execution history help teams inspect the information and actions behind their work. Pūnaha is developed by Hot Desk Consultancy Services Limited in Wellington, New Zealand, for customer-controlled Windows and Linux infrastructure.
