**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Being able to monitor and manage servers and workstations from my phone from anywhere.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Pulseway support is slow to respond and do not always understand what the request is.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring of hundreds of workstations and servers from anywhere 24/7

  ### 2. Best in it's class

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Price of the software is amazing, ease of use (mobile, web and desktop app interfaces), excellent support, has all the features I need and they keep adding more all the time.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Antivirus options are limited and the Kaspersky client is a bit dated.
Only a limited amount of scripts included compared to another free RMM we use, however you can add your own scripts manually.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can easily monitor and manage hundreds of computers professionally and easily.

  ### 3. Pulseway is okay

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Installing the agent was easy. The PSA was faster to load pages than Itarian

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Per-endpoint RMM pricing, lack of integrations, lack of automations, lack of remote desktop
PSA was an old version of Kaseya BMS from before Kaseya acquired it that seemed to be lacking features

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

I really don't know what advantage it has over Kaseya BMS.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main thing I was after was an RMM integrated tightly with the PSA. But their PSA felt very limiting to me, the documentation was very scarce, and I was not able to customize the processes and workflows to my liking.

  ### 4. Excellent product in Sysadmin's toolbox

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

The ability to monitor, manage and patch servers and workstations remotely. This allows me to know about potential issues ahead of time.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Nothing really. It would be great to have a web dashboard and also to manage more third party AV products.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing AD users and computers, patching OSs and third party products. Being able to do this from my smartphone is a great plus!

  ### 5. Best mid-sized MSP platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Third-party app integration and patching

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

mobile app, expensive for advanced features

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

windows patching, push notifications, security alerting.

  ### 6. Pulseway

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

I like the stability of the cross platform usage. Also the implementation stage was very quick and easy to deploy.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

No dislikes I can see but possible look at reducing a price a little further would be nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

You won't be disappointed using Pulseway. I definitely recommend

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great tool for helping us manage and monitor IT tasks.

  ### 7. Getting better, but still a great product for remote monitoring and management.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

The best feature of Pulseway is cost of implementation. They provide a great suite of tools for a very good price. They are moving in the right direction with group policies and cloud management.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Their cross-platform support leaves a bit to be desired. They are very good with monitoring Windows systems. Even though they have agents for other systems they are not as powerful as Windows.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

Reach out for a trial of the software. If you mainly monitor Windows machines from a Windows machine then Pulseway offers a lot of comparable tools compared to their competitors.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Pulseway for remote monitoring, management and maintenance for our clients.

  ### 8. New user of Pulseway but now a believer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David J. | IT Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

I just started using Pulseway recently but it has already helped me find and resolve a situation with one of my servers that I never knew about. Awesome product!

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

I haven't found anything I dislike. It works as advertised and works well.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

If you are unsure if it will meet your needs, start with a small number of monitored devices on a month to month, then increase your devices as needed.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it to monitor mission critical servers. I work for a Medical Practice and we have doctors on duty 24x7x365, so minimizing downtime and resolving issues quickly are critical. Pulseway helps me discover any issues as soon as they occur so I can start working on the solution ASAP.

  ### 9. Awesome server health monitoring software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2018

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

The software is great at catching server warnings.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Just a little bit is needed to get notifications going. Not too bad. Some odd Web App choices.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Server health. Keeping on top of server operations.

  ### 10. A seriously great product that keeps your hands on even when you are miles away

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

I love being able to just glance at my phone or tablet from anywhere and know whats going on with everything from servers t desktops to applications and hardware. I can even manage the issues and resolve them right from my phone. Super simple to use and has kept me going for years now.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

There are some custom software solutions that I would like to implement but the current setup won't allow me to get the exact results I am looking for.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

From small to large companies this software gives you some very robust tools and very minimal interaction needed. Great for small IT teams to manage larger companies.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote support, remote management, and instant alerts to everything I choose to monitor. Great for all size businesses and IT companies.

  ### 11. I LOVE PULSEWAY

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelby D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Love that I can automate tasks, push updates, run scripts through command prompt....

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Wish I could block certain KBs with a batch script or task or something.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RMM

  ### 12. Pulseway is a must-have for any System Administrator

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenneth H. | Learning Systems Solution Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

My favorite Pulseway feature is that I have full control of my systems from the web or from an app. I can do 95% of my system admin tasks remotely via Pulseway.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

I haven't found anything so far that I don't like.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

Very inexpensive solution. No negative issues.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quicker problem and break/fix response. I don't have to drive to the Data Center to fix things or have to have a computer for access.

  ### 13. Inexpensive and solid solution for server monitoring in Windows environments.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ylan M. | IT Team Lead, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2016

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Pulseway provides a solid GUI for customizing your monitoring on Windows servers, which anyone who has used Nagios or other open-source monitoring solutions can appreciate. There is a lot of room for customization and there is a great mobile app that you can use for servicing servers and your Active Directory environment remotely.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

If you forget to clear an alert/notification, it will not alert you again if the same behavior persists, which is a problem. There also isn't a good way to visualize performance over time on machines.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to alert on critical resource issues, which allows us to get ahead of the problem and scale our servers appropriately as demands increase. We have also been able to more proactively alert on events such as AD accounts getting locked out so we can better service our customers (employees).

  ### 14. Pulseway

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2017

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Remote monitoring software for monitoring server temps

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Didn't work consistently
I had to keep re-enabling the software on the clients which defeated the purpose of having a remote sensor

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

Would not recommend.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The product just failed to work on the CPUs we installed it on

  ### 15. Most Powerful and User Friendly Asset Management system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Salman Q. | Visiting Lecturer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2016

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Its interface is very interactive. In my personal opinion best use of Human Computer Interaction can be found in this store. I liked its multi factor authentication. Its Mobile interactive system is fully capable. Now even you can use it on your smartphone or ipad.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Price is little higher than the other compactors. Configuration is much difficult job. May be many other databases are supported in future edition but i was able to use it with MS SQL Server.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

If you need real time reporting to your mobile devices like smartphone and tablet, go for this product.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While running software to report about usage of your system like CPU,disk space and memory usage. To manage like killing processes remotely. For perfect IT resource management and reporting.

  ### 16. Pulseway gave me a sense of comfort for my monitored devices.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2017

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

The more informative alerts. Very reliable.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Compatibility. Stability and features at the time.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sense of security and comfort.

  ### 17. IT Hovering at its finest!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison T. | IT Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2016

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Apps.. did I mention apps? Of course I had to mention apps! Apple, Android, Blackberry world they are on it! THe computer/server install applications install with no issues and are very easy quick to setup. They have every option you could think of when it comes to monitoring your hardware. Notification system that clear easily and very low number of false negatives. I trust the uptime of my servers to pulseway notifications for apps going down, pings going to high or MANY other notifications I have setup.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Funny is I do not dislike anything about this service. I do dislike the fact the Desktop dashboard is only windows! I am a mac user in a network of macs. and the ability to use the dashboard which is a great product itself is really upsetting.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

Want a simple fast server desktop monitoring services with fast implementation time and reliability and reasonable price structure? This is the tool for you.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Downtime. Its nice to be working on a server issue just as the users are finding out! Making uptime come far sooner. Status being able to be confident in your systems becuse of reports and states.

  ### 18. They follow their motto for sure! Making IT Heroes.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robinson A. | Jr Javascript Coder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2016

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

- Bunch of Applications you can use to monitor your infrastructure in Real Time. It can be your Phone with Android, an iPhone, you iPad, Android Tablet, Windows Phone and obviously, a webapp.
- Highly configurable setups. Every single detail you might've think a solution like this wouldn't have, you'll have it for sure with ease.
- Notifications for everything, downtimes, system failures, network issues, really everything.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Now it's completely paid, they could offer one, maximum two machines for free. Although the prices can be really low, some people simply can't afford this can of system, so they'll lose a potential user who could pay for it in the future if they offered a system or two for free.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

Even if you're new to Application Perfomance Management, feel free to give Pulseway a try. Its low price and goodies are for sure worth it. You'll have access to all your Server / Workstation's info right in your phone/tablet/webapp with little to no stress at setup phase.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had to monitor a couple servers i had at home a while ago

  ### 19. Get alerts before disaster strikes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Markos F. | IT, Printing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2016

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Mobile application for real time notifications.
Various alert levels help me decide how to respond. Is it something I must deal with right now, or it can wait for when I get back to the office?
Hardware monitoring, temperatures, disk space left, customization.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

The fact that I have to pay for more than one computer. I understand paying for server management, but if I want to manage my home computers (workstations) it should be free for 2-3 systems.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

Get it if you care about your company

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

making sure disk space doesn't drop below a level, server temperatures, disk temperatures, network availability etc.

  ### 20. Pulseway is great

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

Quality product

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the problem of being able to remote deal with IT issues

  ### 21. Pulseway is the way

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Enforcement | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2016

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

I dislike that the program is a little simplistic and does not appear as professional as other programs.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

It is a good program especially if you want to use the remote login capabilities

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am trying to deal with the ability to remote login to other computers to deal with the issues on those computers.

  ### 22. Making IT Heroes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** A. Cristian C. | IT Technician & Senior System Administrator, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2015

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

The advantage of this software is that brings the control of the situation before your eyes, directly in your hands, on your smart phone. It's a luxury to have all the features Pulseway delivers, only with a few taps on your device. The realtime monitoring system helped our company many times and we were able to prevent further hardware and software problems and recover from downtimes before our clients could have call us.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

Due the fact I use this solution every day is hard to provide dislikes, but if something I think the company should improve is, making the product multilanguage. I guess the world wide market would agree and due the fact the most "IT Heroes" know pretty well english, I have personally met a lot of people that don't use english software unless is translated into local language.

**Recommendations to others considering Pulseway:**

I would personally recommand Pulseway to IT Admins, IT Techs, but even to a junior IT passionate. Controlling another device, giving tech support, preparing reports in a matter of minutes and all of these in few taps from your device is a luxury that actually questions the competitors, offering best prices and high quality support.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple internet connections used for email servers, vpns, local serves and inside networks. Since our internet providers were not offering a perfect solution, there were problems offen and clients were having downtimes and difficulties with daily work. Implementing the Pulseway Services, we managed to understand and action more prompt to the problems and slowly the downtimes decreased to 10% and lower.

  ### 23. Great Tool!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donal G.

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2014

**What do you like best about Pulseway?**

Saves me lots of time doing system administration. Terrific tool.

**What do you dislike about Pulseway?**

You can only have a total of 5 machines for free, but that's a pretty minor issue for most people.

**What problems is Pulseway solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pulseway simplifies so many things by putting everything together and is very easy to use. With this app in play, I'm capable of even monitoring how my ITs are actually handling system and server problems on their own. The most useful part I've discovered though is the push notifications for individual servers and systems, because within a very short amount of time of something happening to a system, you can respond to it almost right away, keeping efficiency at a high level. And these can be tailored to accompany just about any possible problems that can happen and you are even capable of assigning priority levels to the notifications as well.
