"Pulsar’s User-Friendly Dashboards Make Multi-Source Insights Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pulsar Platform?

The most helpful part of Pulsar is the range of data sources we can combine together. The dashboard is also super user friendly and it's easy to find the top posts and sentiment analysis. The word cloud is also useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pulsar Platform?

The time restrictions for instagram and facebook is something i dislike. As well it would be cool to be able to edit the spider clouds and dive more into the insights instead of just having the ai summary beside the clusters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Insights and Support Elevate Our Audience Strategy"
5/5
What do you like best about Pulsar Platform?

TRAC has been a valuable resource in helping us enhance our existing third-party audience platforms and build deeper audience understanding. By giving us access to both qualitative and quantitative insights, traditionally only available through formal research methods, it allows us to explore dimensions of audience behaviour that pure quantitative data alone can’t capture.

In addition, our Account Manager Emily has been on hand to tackle a variety of questions, suggesting approaches for niche sectors and challenging client requests. We definitely would not have had as successful an uptake to projects without her support and exceptional platform knowledge to guide us through.

We have been able to integrate Pulsar data from the platform into our own reporting tools. This has been valuable to reduce time spent on client comms while still providing a view of top performing content and category themes for their internal reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pulsar Platform?

We rely on Reddit data heavily due to the long-form posts available across niche categories and we've found it valuable for that deep audience insight. However, a lot of our clients are UK or US focused specifically so being unable to geo-filter Reddit has been frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Interface and Shareable Visuals, but a Steep Learning Curve"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Pulsar Platform?

I like the interface, along with the graphs and visual cues they use, which can be easily added to a deck presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pulsar Platform?

It can have a steep learning curve. Also, Instagram isn’t easily accessible, and it’s hard to track comments. I also feel the boolean system is restrictive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pulsar Delivers Unique Insights with Client-Friendly Dashboards and Attentive Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Pulsar Platform?

Pulsar has given us really interesting insights that other platforms previously used haven't been able to. The ability to create client friendly intuitive dashboards is a real plus.

The customer support has always been really attentive and willing to help and listen to feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pulsar Platform?

Due to the sometimes niche nature of the searches that we need to run for clients, it's meant that it has been difficult to narrow down the results to gain the best insight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pulsar is a brilliant platform for social listening. The technology allows us to quickly understand online sentiment and trends at scale and the customer support is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pulsar Platform?

Historically the platform has been difficult to learn, particularly when setting up boolean searches, but this issue is now being resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Alerting and Visualizations for Real-Time Risk Tracking"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Pulsar Platform?

What I like best about Pulsar Platform is how easy it makes it to track large volumes of data in a targeted, usable way. The alerting is especially valuable, whether that is picking up specific keywords, Boolean combinations, or communications from particular accounts, so I can catch relevant developments early. I also find the sentiment analysis useful for quickly understanding whether coverage or conversation is turning negative, and the visualisation tools make it much easier to turn live data into clear graphics that help track real-time threats and reputational risks against my organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pulsar Platform?

What I dislike about Pulsar Platform is that some tracking limitations reduce its usefulness for comprehensive monitoring. In particular, account tracking can be restrictive on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, where monitoring is often limited to business accounts. I also find the Boolean tracking limits frustrating, especially on TikTok and some other platforms, and the restricted number of combination searches on Facebook can make it harder to build out broader, more flexible monitoring. "Straightforward social listening platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pulsar Platform?

Pulsar is a really straightforward platform, there's lots of helpful user guides and I use it most for social listening and monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pulsar Platform?

It would be great if users had the option to mark specific social posts that are gathered within results in order to help train Pulsar searches for what to pick up, and what to avoid - potentially by using AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finding the insight that matters, with support you can rely on"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pulsar Platform?

I like starting from the list of content identified as relevant to us and then diving into people’s spontaneous conversations. This can be done easily from the dashboard within each topic search. While the process is time-consuming, it would be almost impossible without Pulsar filtering and surfacing the relevant content for us. This relies on carefully refining the Boolean logic behind each topic search - something the Pulsar team were excellent at helping us develop, test and visualise. Recent developments, such as the ability to organise topic searches into folders and AI-generated topic summaries, have also been very helpful. We are lucky to have access to Narratives AI and have enjoyed using it to brainstorm topics for a range of campaigns and events. It has helped us explore ideas and angles we might not otherwise have considered. The application is also very user-friendly, which meant we were able to train colleagues in other teams to use it independently. To expand on the topic of training, from onboarding onwards Pulsar have been very generous with their time, and flexible in adjusting to our shifting priorities and timelines. We have regular fortnightly catch-ups, and the team are always available to support ad hoc requests or arrange presentations and workshops for the wider team. I also find the weekly Power Ups (e.g. case studies or deep dives into useful content) particularly valuable and relevant as a form of CPD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pulsar Platform?

One area for improvement relates to dashboards. While they work well for analysis within Pulsar, they are not always easy to share as live dashboards with colleagues who do not have access to the platform. A simpler and more dynamic way of sharing dashboards externally would be very helpful, particularly for engaging wider stakeholders who would benefit from exploring insights interactively rather than relying on static exports. Dashboards could also be more straightforward to create; at times there seems to be greater emphasis on producing aesthetically polished visuals rather than enabling users to communicate insights in the most direct and accessible way.
