## Nutrient SDK Reviews
 ### 1. Feature-Rich PDF Viewer with Exemplary Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maximilian S. | Co-Founder & CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

The Nutrient SDK helped us to quickly integrate a feature-rich PDF viewer into our SaaS application, complete with support for annotations, comments, and so on. The viewer UI is professional and matches our existing interface well. Nutrient's product is high quality and the support has been exemplary throughout.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

There are no specific downsides I can think of.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to integrate an invoice viewer into our application so that customers can upload invoices, share them with colleagues, and have them reviewed and approved. During the review process, it's necessary to leave annotations and comments. This would have been difficult to achieve with a custom solution, which is why we decided to use the Nutrient SDK. The benefit is that we could quickly launch the invoice approval flow without much custom development.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> We're so glad to hear that our SDK is helping you help your customers. Keep us posted on how else we can continue to make things great!

 ### 2. Powerful PDF SDK that accelerated our PDF workflows

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan H. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

Nutrient SDK is a very complete PDF toolkit with fast rendering, reliable annotation/editing features, and consistent APIs. The docs and samples make it easy to get started, and the feature depth (viewing, annotating, editing, merging, exporting) saved us a ton of build time compared to stitching together multiple libraries.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Licensing/pricing can feel high depending on the use case, and the SDK footprint can be larger than lightweight alternatives. There’s also a learning curve for more advanced customization, and I’d love to see more end-to-end examples for complex workflows and edge cases.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us offer in-app PDF viewing and editing (annotations, form handling, merging/splitting, exporting) without building and maintaining a custom PDF stack. That reduced engineering effort, sped up delivery, improved the end-user document experience, and lowered support issues related to PDF rendering inconsistencies.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Thanks so much for a thoughtful review, and for describing how our SDK meets your needs. You mention wanting to see more complex workflows and edge cases - please take a look at our demo page below to see if you find some helpful resources.

 ### 3. Good product and better support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego C. | Director de proyecto @NTT Data | CEO @CQe-Solutions | PMP®️, SMC™️, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

The PSPDFKit SDK has allowed me to forget about the inclusion of electronic signatures within a PDF and focus on my challenge of being able to perform electronic signatures using the electronic certificates of the Spanish DNIe from iOS devices using NFC technology. They are always attentive to possible developments and have accompanied me on this journey. I would also highlight its ease of integration into developed apps.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

The only negative point I can highlight is that it is an expensive product and it is difficult to access for new companies that are just starting.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to be able to include in a PDF the electronic signature generated by my apps using the electronic certificates of the Spanish DNIe. Fortunately, PSPDFKit provided me with the solution to this problem and I managed to publish my apps with all the necessary functionality.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> It's so great to hear that our teams have been with you in your SDK journey and that we were able to help you with the solution you need. Thanks for taking the time to be so thoughtful with your review!

 ### 4. A game-changer for nonprofits — more time for what truly matters

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saskia P. | Digital transformation expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

As a nonprofit organisation focused on mental healthcare, every hour we spend on administrative tasks is an hour taken away from the people we serve. Nutrient SDK has transformed how we operate.

We implemented Nutrient SDK to automate several of our document workflows for processing intake forms and the impact has been immediate. Tasks that used to require manual effort are now handled seamlessly, freeing up our team to focus on delivering mental health support rather than getting bogged down in paperwork.

The integration process was straightforward and well-documented, which was a huge relief for a small team like ours. We were up and running quickly without needing extensive developer resources. The tool is reliable, fast, and performs consistently — it genuinely feels like it just works, which is exactly what you need when you don't have the bandwidth to troubleshoot.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

For a nonprofit, cost is always a consideration, and Nutrient SDK is a premium product priced accordingly. However, when we weigh what it costs against the time and energy it saves us, the value is clear.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutrient SDK automates our document workflows, eliminating time-consuming manual processes. This means our team spends less time on administration and more time on the mental healthcare services we exist to provide.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> We're so honored to be the tech that helps people help others in need. We'll continue to save your teams time for the human moments.

 ### 5. High-performance, enterprise-grade PDF SDK with excellent support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Orelvis V. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

Nutrient SDK delivers an excellent PDF viewing experience with strong performance and reliability. The PDF viewer is fast, responsive, and integrates seamlessly with native OS UI patterns, resulting in a smooth and polished user experience across platforms. From a technical perspective, the SDK was straightforward to integrate into both our mobile application and SaaS platform. Additionally, the support and sales teams are highly knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with, which significantly reduced friction during evaluation and implementation.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

The primary drawback is cost. Nutrient SDK can be expensive compared to some alternatives, which may be a consideration for smaller teams or cost-sensitive projects. That said, the pricing reflects the maturity, performance, and quality of the product, and in our case the value received justifies the investment.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutrient SDK solves the challenge of delivering a high-performance, native-feeling PDF viewing experience within our mobile app and SaaS platform without building and maintaining a custom solution. It allows us to reliably display and interact with PDFs at scale while maintaining a consistent, high-quality user experience across operating systems. This has reduced development complexity, accelerated delivery, and ensured a stable, professional document viewing experience for our users.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience. Great to hear the SDK is meeting your needs. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need help.

The React Native SDK gives us an intuitive and reliable offline-first PDF viewing and annotation. Customer and sales support has been quick and helpful, and the team has been flexible in working with us on our specific use case. The cross-platform API for iOS and Android is straightforward, and the annotation/save pipeline
integrates cleanly with our existing document storage infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Setting up the Webviewer for the PDFPDFKit took some effort but the result was good

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabled our users to view and sign documents on mobile devices.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Our customer and sales teams are the best, we agree! Glad to hear React Native SDK is working wonderfully for you.

 ### 7. Simple Integration, Exceptional Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MASSIMO c. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

I appreciate the stability of the platform and the overall quality of the Nutrient SDK tools. The integration was simple and the documentation helped me a lot during development. The support team is quick to respond and available to clarify doubts or suggest best practices. I like the ability to easily add highlights, comments, notes, and drawings to documents, making them collaborative. Additionally, Nutrient SDK offers ready-made components, digital signatures, and editing tools that others do not offer. The initial setup process was simple and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

the cost

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutrient SDK allows you to quickly integrate a complete PDF viewer, transforming the document into a collaborative workspace with highlights, comments, and notes.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Glad to hear that we make it easy from start to finish! We're committed to keep things simple yet exceptional for you.

 ### 8. Outstanding Experience, Worth Every Penny

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim C. | Director of Software Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

The support team is outstanding—always attentive and helpful. On top of that, the software performs exceptionally well. It has become a fundamental part of our architecture, and I never have to worry about it failing or causing any issues.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

The pricing model - every little thing is a conversation that requires a change to the contract.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutrient SDK essentially abstracts away the complexity of working with PDFs - if you are parsing, viewing, signing, whatever... You just don't need to invest engineering hours building it yourself given Nutrient does it so well.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Always great to hear compliments for our support team! Here's to never having to worry because the solution is working great.

 ### 9. Fabulous SDKs That Work as Advertised, Backed by First-Rate Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

I've been using the PSPDFKit / Nutrient SDK's for almost 11 years now. They are fabulous, work as advertised and the support is first rate - which is super important.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Not much, it's all very good. Only criticism is that the Web SDK UI could do with an update to bring it up to par with the iOS/macOS SDK's

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the SDK's across 5 of our products and the main benefit is that we do not need to become PDF experts, that is handled for us.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> We love being on this decade-long journey with you; here's to the next one! We'll take your feedback internally as well. Make sure to follow our changelog for updates to Web SDK!

 ### 10. Great PDF Tool and Excellent Support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Po-Han H. | Senior Product Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

We like Nutrient very much because it meets all of our PDF needs. We use it to allow our customers to view, annotate, and sign PDFs. The support team is also amazing! They respond quickly and patiently solve our issues!

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

The cost is a drawback. I can understand why some companies can’t afford the high price.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our customers want to view, annotate, and sign PDFs in our product. It can save them time in sending and managing contracts manually. We provide Nutrient as our solution for them, so we don't have to develop it on our own and can focus on the core features of our product.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback. Glad the SDK fits your workflow. Reach out if you need anything else.

 ### 11. Easy Documentation, Smooth Alignment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samson B. | Authorized Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

Nutrient SDK has a unique platform that allows you to try out various sparks with your PDF file. Simple PDF editting might be achieved with other tools, but Nutrient SDK goes above the simplistic aspect and offers your more unique editting expereinces. In a sense, it's a very powerful and reliable tool.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

The downsides of it is that you need to have a neat concept of the various features offered by Nutrient SDK, which means taking time to learns the ins and out before trying to use the tool. Eitherway, there's always something new to learn before mastering any tool.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment, Nutrient SDK makes it easier to formart PDFs by editing and removing aspects like watermarks, which might me a pain in the long run as other tools find it hard to neatly edit such documents. Inserting E-signatures has been made easier without necessaily having to print out the document and signing it manually. Although there are other competitors in the market offering similar or closely-related features, Nutrient SDK has a slight edge on how it has adopted easy-to-use model features to carter for all individuals, including those who aren't tech savvy.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience. Happy the documentation made integration easier. Feel free to ping us if questions come up.

 ### 12. Comprehensive Resources and Intuitive Design Make Nutrient Stand Out

**Reviewed by:** Phellipp H. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

What I like most about Nutrient is the breadth of resources it offers for both end users and developers, combined with its intuitive design and flexibility. The documentation is also clear and practical, which shortens the learning curve and helps prevent common implementation issues. I would also highlight the close, responsive support provided by the Customer Success team.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

They could add a few more accessibility features, but it's worth highlighting that the generated HTML is already of very high quality.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creation of professional ebooks, user study routines, creation of academic journals, unlimited note-taking features, learning paths, and much more.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Thanks for the review! Glad to hear the SDK is working well for your use case. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need help.

 ### 13. Using Nutrient SDK to create documents processing workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Nutrient SDK (former GDPicture SDK) is an exceptional document management development kit. It offers a highly intuitive API for the creation and manipulation of PDF files and a wide range of image formats.
We use it to develop applications that manages documents workflows. In this context, we found the document conversion capabilities, which support various formats to PDF, to be particularly robust.
Furthermore, the SDK also provides seamless integration with the TWAIN standard for image acquisition from scanners. Thus, Nutrient SDK gives us the capability to use the same framework to manage both native digital documents and paper documents.
Key features for us are:
Platform Compatibility: The SDK supports all .NET framework versions and includes a comprehensive set of tools for developing both WPF and Windows Forms applications.
Developer Support: The technical support team is highly responsive and consistently available, providing excellent assistance to developers.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

We have been using it for many years and so far we have nothing significant to report.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutrient SDK gives us the capability to use an easy and robust framework to manage both native digital documents and paper documents

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Really appreciate you taking the time to write this. Glad the support team could help when you needed it. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need help.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

The unified APIs and documentation made it straightforward for our team to embed a full-featured document viewer and editor without a long ramp‑up period.
The biggest upside was the speed to implement. The customer support team has been very helpful when we ran into any issues or questions.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

The main downsides for us have been the initial learning curve for our team and integration effort, along with pricing that requires careful planning as usage scales.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to keep our users in the product

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience. Glad to hear the SDK is working well for your use case. Let us know if you run into anything.

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

We've been using the SDK for quite a while, and it has steadily improved over that time. The integration process is clear, the components are reliable, and overall, it fits well into our workflow. Our customers also have a consistently smooth experience, which has made it a dependable part of our product.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

There isn’t much to call out. It functions as expected and has met our needs without introducing complications.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutrient SDK gives us a consistent, reliable way to display PDFs in our application. It removes the variability of browser-based viewers and eliminates the need to build or maintain our own solution. The result is fewer support issues and a smoother experience for our users.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience. Glad the support team could help when you needed it. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need help.

 ### 16. Consistently Improving and Loved by Our Customers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hayden C. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

We've been a customer since the PSPDFKit days and the product has only gotten better. Robust, easy to setup, but most importantly our customers love it.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Nothing -- it does exactly what we want and expect it to do.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's the best white-labeled PDF SDK on the market.

 ### 17. Easy to integrate and customize PDF capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

We have a variety of different PDF manipulation needs, and Nutrient has worked with us to help us achieve our business goals. Their documentation is really nice; our engineering team has been able to execute on our projects without much trouble. And it's great that their documentation is so thorough, because their feature set and customizability is quite robust.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

The installation of the web SDK is a bit cumbersome; it's different from most other npm packages. This might just be part of the territory with tools of this nature though.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We produce a web-based SaaS product that involves our users reading and manipulating PDFs, primarily legal documents. Nutrient lets us offload the difficult development work of building and maintaining these tools ourselves, and lets us focus on the core value we add for our users, rather than the minutia of file handling in the browser.

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback. Good to hear it's been reliable for you. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need help.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

I have no complaints. The support team responds quickly, and the SDK remains stable.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia B. | QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

I'm really impressed with the sales team, they responded quickly and provided me with a license key for my university project. The SDK is powerful, easy to integrate, and works perfectly with my app. Thanks to their support, I was able to get everything running smoothly in no time. Great experience overall!

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Nothing major so far, the integration was smooth. It would be nice to have a simpler method for theme customization using CSS variables to better match app themes.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using Nutrient SDK to display uploaded class materials (like PDFs) inside my app, a productivity platform for students. It solves the problem of previewing and reading documents directly in the browser, without forcing students to download them.

 ### 22. Perfectly working product, close cooperation and prompt follow-up

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marte S. | Product manager Meetings Plus, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

We have used Nutrients (Prev PSPDFKit) as PDF-viewer for our products for a number of years. We us the SDK for iOS, Android and Windows. We started with iOS, but transferred the others to the same, in parallell with distributor releasing them. The reason is why we are very satisfied with Nutrient is the quality of the product, but also the close cooperation and easily availablke assistance if needed . If we have any challenges or questions, the support-department and the account managers are always available to assist, always with very short notice.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

The Windows and Android SDK has been a bit behing iOS, and we need to have it working for all. That has required some extra efforts for our developers through the year. But this is though moving in the right direction so I'm not worried!

We use Nutrient as PDF-viewer in our app used by elected representatives in the swedish municipalities and regions.

 ### 23. Customer Support Evaluation

 ### 24. The best tool for the job

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean G. | IT Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

When researching potential solutions to our public library's need to surface and make accessible historical documents to the public, I was faced with many products of varing cost that were fraught with "gotchas", high technical barriers, or frankly too many downsides to want to invest in. Nutrient's PDFKit was the perfect fit for our needs: fast, straightforward, and fully accessible and flexible right out of the box. The integration was easy, and their friendly technical support made sure of that. They also ensured that we had a working example running on our end before purchasing a license, to make sure that we would be happy before committing. — Now that we've implemented the solution, City residents are actively enjoying learning about their community's history.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

If I had to pick a downside to using Nutrient's PDFKit, it would only be due to the fact that our budget was quite limited from the outset. As a public institution, there are certain budgetary rules and limits we must abide, else we would need to seek permission from the City Council. Nutrient's sales representative worked diligently with us to provide a very steep discount off of the yearly license fee, taking into account that, as an institution, we are a public good, letting us stay below that special request threshold.

The service, support, and encouragement have been fantastic. Afterward, our sales representative contacted us a few weeks later to see how we were doing. I emailed him our new digital archive link, and he revealed he and some of his colleagues were having a fun time looking through our archival newspapers about our city dating back to the 1960s. They love to see what people accomplish with their solutions.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nutrient's PDFKit SDK made short work of what, from the outset, was a difficult engineering problem: implementing the most robust PDF viewer for our project. There are many alternatives, ranging from cheap to expensive, or even open source libraries (if you have the requisite engineering talent employed to implement and maintain those libraries, and troubleshoot them), however none of those, in our experience, were as robust yet easy to implement.

Accessibility, as a public institution, is paramount to us when considering technical solutions. The right solution often must not simply be feasible, but welcoming, intuitive, and flexible for the public, regardless of background or disability. Only Nutrient's PDFKit met these high standards we strive for.

Easy to use and reliable SDK,with a proffissinal support team ,
Clear documentation, Great tool for developers and it help us for our development.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Nothing , best solution for our softwares

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used by Our archiving system

**Official Response from Rachel Moore:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience. Great to hear the SDK is meeting your needs. Let us know if you run into anything.

 ### 26. Much better than building custom

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

- We had built PDF editing & manipulation in-house, Nutrient made this 10x easier and had a lot of great built-in functions.
- Docs are much better than competitor options, made the implementation process easy
- Our AE Alex & solutions eng. were very helpful in answering feature-related questions
- It's a great all-in-one solution at a reasonable price point, and works with our infra + security model.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

- Some of our features we didn't have in our custom implementation also aren't available in Nutrient, like pulling TextLayer content in a rotated PDF.
- Some bugs that aren't made clear in documentation (like custom SVGs for toolbar not working)

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to be able to manipulate and annotate PDFs. We built it custom but it lacked a lot of features. Nutrient had many features built-in already which saved us months of developer time. For example, native PDF annotations; marquee zoom; server-side rendering for better performance.

 ### 27. PDF SDK Tool Worth Reviewing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamey R. | CTO & Co-Founder, Airlines/Aviation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

Our needs are very specific and the flexibility of PSPDFKit SDK helped us achieve all of our goals. The online documentation is extremely well done compared to what you would find for other generic technology solutions. The API documentation specifically was very strong which went a long way in helping us integrate our solution to fit our needs.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

I reviewed a few different solutions in the PDF toolkit space and I would have to say that this is a negative in all of them. These pricing structures can be complex and NEED to be understood fully before moving forward with purchase. However, out of all of the solutions that I reviewed, PSPDFKit was the one that walked me through their pricing the best and didn't make me feel like I was going to get fleeced.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PSPDFKit SDK allows our people to open and modify PDFs directly on our website. The interface that we have developed together allows us to present a more polished end product and increased functionality that we might not have been able to have provided otherwise.

**Official Response from Mike Banic:**

> Hi Jamey, Thanks for posting a review! We are grateful to have earned your business and we’re impressed with how the Aeroplicity platform makes use of blockchain to help customers meet stringent NIST and DFARS requirements.

 ### 28. A cut above

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

Exceptional customer service-Superior product

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

So far in my experience dealing with Nutrient there is nothing I dislike.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

450k documents - Convert multiple file types (.doc, .tif, .jpg, .xls, .xlsx, .msg) to PDF, Barcode PDF with specific parameters (ID from subfolder-static), convert page size PDF. Current software vendor left us in a bind with a flaky API, needed a short notice solution to prepare documents for importing files outside of API. I was very surprised by the level of customer service given to a new customer with a tight deadline. POC within 48 hours, then quote and purchase, implemented custom solution within a week.

 ### 29. Great tool that covers one of our product's core functionalities.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dmytro H. | Principal Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

Ease of integration on the back-end and front-end side (we use JS, iOS, and Android SDKs).
Responsive support and development team covers tricky document conversion issues.
Our DevOps team has no issues with updates in our K8S cluster - it was always a breeze.
The front-end annotation tool is very easy to use and highly appreciated by our users.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Some complex bug reports may take more time to resolve.
The JS bundle could be smaller.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PSPDFKit solves a crucial part of our flow allowing teachers to annotate student's submitted work that then can be reviewed by students and their parents.
Students submit their work in different formats and PSDPFKit handles the PDF conversion.
Also, we're utilizing the previews functionality both to preview the entire documents on the web and to generate thumbnails for the list views of the documents.

 ### 30. Quality of product is excellent and scalable to your business needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

-Developers have ability to test unlicensed features in a development environment
-Quality of end product is professional and functions nicely
-Number of features available

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

-Not all Adobe PDF functions are available to use in the end viewer or forms functionality
-Pick and choose platforms and modules. Gets to be a very expensive product the more modules/platform you intend to add over time

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By using Nutrient, our developers are spending less time on basic PDF functionality by using the SDK and already established libraries.

 ### 31. PDC Converter works very good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian D. | IT-Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

The PDF converter is one of the smoothest services we are using since years. Using it since a long time. This holds true for the old server implementation for SharePoint on premise and Nintex and now for SharePoint Online and Power Automate. Customer support is great.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Nothing ..................................

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Converting any kind of document to PDF with Power Automate.

 ### 32. Excellent library for manipulating PDF documents

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

Reliable, feature rich PDF editing platform. The ability to create annotations, dynamically fill forms, etc. has been incredibly useful. The documentation provided by PSPDFKit has made integration into our platform predictable and without any 'gotchas'. We've not needed to reach out to their support team (it's been very reliable), however, I would expect the experience to be every bit as responsive as the rest of their customer success and account management team - which have been easy to communicate with.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

The cost to utilize the SDK can be prohibitive for small startups. I would prefer a pricing plan that allowed an easier level of entry which would make early stages within a startup more affordable.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are various SDK's/libraries available for working with PDFs, however, the open source libraries available do not come close to covering the many use-cases that are provided by PSPDFKit. The ability to quickly integrate the SDK into an existing project has made it a key component in the features utilized by several of our customers.

**Official Response from MIke Raia:**

> Nick, thank you so much for the kind words. We do try to make our documentation and account teams as helpful as possible, we're glad to be working with you!

 ### 33. Business Partners of PSPDFKit SDK

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan P. | Senior Director, Global Installation Initiatives, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

Their engagement as a partner and working to fit our needs. Their product delivers exactly what we need with ease, but their partnership to work through any obstacles is what I admire. I know my concerns, questions or needs will be dealt with promptly with thoughtful concideration and engagement.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Nothing comes to mind currently. Their product and team are both helpful and professional.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My organization is global. Our toolsets must fit our global need. Many times the "out of box" capabilities of applications we leverage do not provide the scalability necessary to deal with the various language translations and complexity that delivering global products require. PSPFDFKit SDK solve that need with ease that make it easy to do business.

 ### 34. PSPDF tools were used to upgrade a variety of PDF capabilities within the DWR eDiscovery platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan G. | Managing Director/CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

The PDF viewing and processing tools are fast and efficient, and the redaction and annotation capabilites were exceptional. This will be a huge advantage for our users. No other package offered the same functions and performance at a very reasonable price point.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Initial setup and development; dupport and documentation were not great, and the initial payment was complicated requiring a wire-transfers rather than more traditional payment methods. The requirement to perform functions through a browser/Javascript made development a little tricky.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Modernize PDF manipulation; allow redactions of PDF files; allow annotations and fast viewing of large (5,000+ page) PDF files

 ### 35. Professional quality product, professionally delivered

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giles S. | Director of Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

The sales team were straightforward; the product did what they promised. When there was a minor issue with a product key not working, they responded quickly and sorted it out

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

The potential complexity & escalating cost of signing up for extra domains for each new customer to access our use of the PSPDFKit SDK

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identifying key texts within PDFs, highlighting it & displaying it

 ### 36. Renders PDFs perfectly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott O. | Director of Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

I no longer have to debug or support any issues with rendering customer PDFs. They just work.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Using a library means you have a new dependency to manage and keep up to date.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rendering all PDFs in our platform

 ### 37. Good quality PDF toolkit, Great customer support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

We have implemented PSDPFKit SDKs across our applications from the server backend to web and native mobile clients. We've been using their software tools for at least 5 years now, and they have enabled us to provide a lot of value for our customers, and our customers use that feature freuqently. The implementation was technical but straightforward for our developers, and we've been able to extend some of the functionality to suit our needs. Overall, the performance handles documents of varying complexity well, and their UI has been easy for our customers to work with, no matter their skill level. When issues do arise, their support team has been great to work with and most issues are addressed in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Due to some of our technical customizations and handling of annotation data, there have been a few instances where upates to the PSPDFKit software caused some incompatibility issues across platforms, causing us to need to be careful with backwards compatibility with older versions of our mobile apps where it may take users a while to get updated.

Additionally, PSPDFKit is not cheap, but the cost does reflect the quality of the product. The cost of the mobile SDKs will scale with number of users, so make sure to factor that into your budget and revenue calculations for your own software.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PSPDFKit enables us to provide our customers with stable tools to manage, fill out, review, and edit their documents from within our platform.

 ### 38. A true partner in delivering value for our customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

Everyone in the business - from Sales to Customer Success and tech support - is responsive and helpful. And because their products work, our engineers can focus on the solution for our customers, not the gritty details of managing documents.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Genuinely, there is nothing to not like.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The SDK allows our end users to annotate documents and have that available for them on any device. Using their SDK speeds up our development time and means we don't have to recruit our own internal engineers to do this.

 ### 39. Support has been great

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

The kit in itself is something we have been using for a long time, now with this release for the web, we are adopting it into our main application.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

There are some items where we still need to rely on GDPicture to process. Which is understandable, and perhaps an aread of improvement for Docuvieware in the future.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to provide a great PDF engine that we can use to provide a very rich PDF viewer / editor on our website.

 ### 40. Excellent Product & Top-notch Customer Experience

What stands out even more is the exceptional customer support. The team is responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to help us solve any issues quickly. They genuinely care about customer success, which has made our collaboration smooth and efficient.

Highly recommend PSPDFKit for anyone looking for a reliable PDF solution backed by great service!

PSDPDFKit has been a vital part of our solutions and services for years now. They help us significantly accelerate our time to market, provide key services to our clients, and reliably deliver solutions that we can easily integrate into our portfolio.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Pricing can be opaque but the team is communicative and collaborative, so we're able to work things out together.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our clients want to PDF everything. :) It would be very costly and difficult to support this with in-house resource. PSDPDFKit helps us to accelerate our time to market in a reliable way.

 ### 44. PDFKit has helped us automate a process that was causing unnecessary waste of time and resources.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis J. | CEO & Managing Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

The easy integration with Power Automate. The quick ejecution of the tasks and the quick resolution to any roadblocks we were facing along the way from our Account Managers. Thank you Carson

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

We have not really found a feature that we dislike

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

filling out a PDF template and publish it

 ### 45. Seamless PDF Integration with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

I recently integrated PSPDFKit into our project, and I couldn't be more impressed. The SDK is robust, easy to implement, and offers a wide range of features. The documentation is clear and comprehensive, making the setup process smooth. Customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever we've had questions. PSPDFKit has significantly improved our application's PDF handling capabilities. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

While PSPDFKit offers a comprehensive range of features, the initial learning curve can be a bit steep. However, the excellent documentation and responsive support team quickly alleviate this challenge.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PSPDFKit provides a robust, reliable solution for managing PDFs, which allows us to focus on other core aspects of our project without worrying about PDF functionality. The SDK's comprehensive features and excellent support ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of any issues.

 ### 46. PSPDFkit fills the gap and makes it easy to implement signatures, annotations, and redactions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

PDFs have traditionally been hard to work with in the browser. PSPDFkit fills that gap and makes it easy to implement signatures, annotations, and redactions.
There aren’t many open source alternatives that offer the same high quality API.
For better or for worse, Industrial manufacturing still uses PDFs for critical functions like technical drawings and certifying inspections. Forcing our manufacturing partners to download and reupload pdfs is not acceptable. Luckily, we’ve been able to use PSPDFkit API to obviate these outdated processes, and keep them in app.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

I hate that we haven't found true web alternatives for PDFs

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Signatures, annotations, and redactions.

 ### 47. Best PDF Framework for iOS, iPadOS and macOS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fran M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

How easily it integrates into pretty much any app project I'm working on.
Great customer support.
Powerful PDF engine for apps.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

I dont have any dislike, it really fullfills all my needs.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This toolkit serves as an indispensable resource for app developers engaged in PDF management within their projects. My experience with it extends over a considerable period (6+ years!)), during which it has significantly simplified previously laborious tasks. The documentation provided is remarkably detailed, offering clear guidance that facilitates the implementation of even the most advanced PDF functionalities with ease.

**Official Response from MIke Raia:**

> Fran,

6 years with us! Wow! Thank you for being a customer and for the kind words. We're so happy you've found PSPDFKit to be so helpful. We hope to serve you and your customers for a long time forward.

 ### 48. Simply the best PDF SDK

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alberto Z. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

Managing a PDF online is often a complex task. When you develop a product for the end user, you need a library where the user can have the same experience as on Adobe Acrobat Desktop. I believe that PSDPDFKIT does this better, while also offering a user-friendly UI, which is crucial for the overall user experience.
In our experience, we're using PSPDFKit to show and browse PDFs that need to be signed, the interface to position in the signing forms and place a signature is super easy.
The customer support is very reactive. The ease of implementation is pretty fast from a technical point of view.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

From a technical point of view, nothing to mention in particular.
From an administrative point of view, I think PSPDFKit should strive to become the standard library for online PDF Viewing.
The world needs simple and beautiful libraries to use. The increasing number of documents to show and to sign online is increasing dramatically. The way how you purchase, select the features and manage domains seems more like a niche library. It would be very helpful to have the possibility to renew and purchase the library in few seconds. Also, the minimum price of the library is very high if you have a software that need it only for few web pages.
But apart from this, no doubts it's the best PDF SDK ever made.

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving the user a simple interface to browse and sign PDFs.

 ### 49. Excellent products

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 50. Plenty features, well documented and great customer service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Nutrient SDK?**

As software engineers, we need a library that can not only meet business requirements but also be easily integrated into our platform. PSPDFKit offers a wide range of features that can be easily tailored to suit basic as well as advanced needs. The technical documentation is well-written and easy to comprehend. Furthermore, whenever we have any questions or issues, the support team is alway quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Nutrient SDK?**

Some UX can be improved. e.g. we cannot add area redaction continuously.
Redaction approach for NodeJs is not available currently

**What problems is Nutrient SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PSPDFkit provides the excellent solution where our team members can view and edit PDFs without downloading sensitive data to their laptops.

**Official Response from MIke Raia:**

> Andrea, thank you for both the kudos and the suggestions regarding the UI. We're constantly looking to improve our tools and your feedback truly helps!
