Provar is very easy to learn you just have to Drop and Drag the Fields and Functions and Provar will do its magic behind the scene. Test Scripts were easy to read and Execute. Sometimes Provar is slow and the IDE takes a lot of time to load. One of the major downsides is there are no Training Licenses available for everyone to use or Free Courses so people can learn. If we can have something like Salesforce Trailhead then many users can learn and explore the tool. I know the tool is awesome and it's us lot of flexibility but it is expensive. I do not spend time by doing regression testing manually everytime we have a deployment. For custom components, a new selector must be created which Provar is allowed to create and offer many options, yet sometimes the selectors are failing on test cases and we need to use alternative ways. We use Provar for regression testing and making sure that the system works as it should on out UAT and SIT in our 3 different divisions. Which we are able to do by running the Provar pipeline nightly and check the results in the morning, and if there are any bugs we can create bugs in DevOps and assign it to teams. So glad to hear that you found Provar to help with your Salesforce test automation and didn't have to go through building out a Selenium framework. Selenium is a terrific technology for general web application testing, but many come to the same conclusion that you did - an engineered for Salesforce approach leads to better results. CPQ is an exceptionally complex product, so it's not surprising that CPQ test automation was challenging. Your approach to reach out to Provar Support was exactly the right strategy. I enjoyed working with the IT support team and got resolved all my issues with setup and test cases. I like the Test Builder tool and the fact that I can automate things easily with this tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Provar? The downside of using a tool is that it does not have a smooth CICD process that I can navigate from the tool itself. What problems is Provar solving and how is that benefiting you? Provar is helping me to automate salesforce and hoperx test cases. It helps me to run end-to-end tests. Easy to learn and implement even with a minimum coding knowledge Quick support from Provar team Excellent tool for regression testing Test palette and default functions are very helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Provar? Metadata reload is inconsistent and it could be better. Recommendations to others considering Provar: Easy to learn for people who have some basic coding skills and also for people who don't even know coding knowledge Provar comes up with the updates concerning Salesforce releases, so it is suitable for maintenance of test cases Provar had an excellent support team that responds within 24 hours Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Are you seeing the problem with a full refresh of the metadata or with just the changes?
