Going into my new job, I had never mixed audio before. From the first moment I opened ProTools, I appreciated the simplicity of the layout, making audio editing a more swallowable task. **What do you dislike about Revolution Entertainment Services?** I wish there were more shortcuts within ProTools. There are common shortcuts I use with the Premiere suite that I think would translate well to ProTools. (For example, in premiere, the plus sign key allows you to zoom in) **What problems is Revolution Entertainment Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** ProTools allows you to connect various plugins and keep them at your fingertips. It has even been endorsed by Nares and Grammy prizes. They have even released some official documents that will tell you how to transfer files from one artist to another. It's just the most used music software by the best musicians and audio producers in the world. **What do you dislike about Revolution Entertainment Services?** What I don't like about PT is that it doesn't have the user-friendly interface that other apps do, like Logic Pro. So it could scare a newbie right away after opening it for the first time. Nothing to worry about because there are plenty of tutorials. Also, it's kind of expensive compared with plenty of music production software out there. But it's worth the bucks. **Recommendations to others considering Revolution Entertainment Services:** Just start right away with it. Don't buy or use any other software. Don't get used to anything else. Use ProTools. It's the music industry standard, don't invest time on any other software; I wish I did that some years ago. **What problems is Revolution Entertainment Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm an audio engineer and music producer; PT has helped me deliver my job professionally. Also, it has helped me with my online courses in which I teach mixing and mastering. ### 10. So simple to you and so powerful. Routing and built-in options for audio are excellent too. It's such a reference in the audio pro world. **What do you dislike about Revolution Entertainment Services?** The new subscription plan, MIDI integration still really bad. In general the policy that Avid leads is suicidal. The software is easily incompatible with new OS unless you pay again. Wrong commercial choice. **What problems is Revolution Entertainment Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's the perfect software for editing and mixing. It's the industry standard and because of Avid policy, unfortunately, more and more people go away to work with another DAW. ### 11.
