Protecht is a useful platform for storing and interlinking items related to risk management. We have found it to be effective and flexible when tailoring the base platform to our specific business needs. Some of the UX is quite clunky, with slow loading times, particularly in relation to worksheets and dashboards. This can cause heavier workloads to solve simple issues as it involves making slow changes and saving them before then checking that the issue is resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to be so flexible in setting up the system. Customisation makes it very practical to implement. However, if proper guidance is not given or the organisation is not mature enough, that can lead to issues if they don't design the system well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the limitations compared to competitors exist, especially in reporting functionalities. The analytics development team can certainly be improved, especially regarding timeliness. The breadth and flexibility of Protecht is great. The core registers and libraries are a good starting point and the ability to tailor them and also simply create our own content is very valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using the analytics module can take some practice, but it's not overly complex and there is good support available. It is possible to get into difficulty when creating our own registers where they are linked, but the software is designed in a way that it's easy to identify where errors have been made. I'm not sure there's anything in particular I dislike about Protecht. A simplified basic drag and drop style reporting tool would be great, but I understand the next version of IntelSoft will introduce greater simplicity and ease of use. They listened from the start of initial contact with them. They understood that we are not a large company and therefore had to be mindful of costs. As an administrator - it's a delight. It allows for a wide variety of possibilities for creation and customisation.

The analytics module provides the building blocks to produce bespoke, real time reporting across all the Operational Risk registers. It’s easy to produce reports with minimal training and intuitive for consumers with little or no experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's not much I dislike about the analytics tool, but if I had to pick one improvement to analytics it would be the ability to set margins and page set-up when exporting to PowerPoint. The tool allows you to configure the print/export layout when exporting to PDF, but not in PowerPoint.
