The entire suite can function together. After importing a client's fixed asset information, I can utilize the fixed asset information both in engagement and in tax applications to complete a tax return and an audit or compilation with the same information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The audit software, Engagement, is not as user friendly as it could be. You can link workpapers, but it is time consuming and a two-way hyperlink is not available. I like that when you print a tax return to PDF, Prosystem FX organizes the bookmarks. I also like that you can now print e-file attachments with the tax return, which is a huge timesaver from a tax processing standpoint. I dislike the way that consolidated returns are handled, and that there always seem to be issues with getting them qualified for electronic filing and transmitted successfully. I handle a lot of consolidated returns and there are constant issues due to the fact that clients have the same ID and file on different levels (i.e. some file at consolidated level and some file at the federal level).
