We've been customers for a few years now, and while the initial draw remains a strong selling point, I am also so glad to work with a company that listens to and fullfills feature requests and improvments. Even years later, even when considering other quoting software, Proposify continues to shine. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** At times, we'll hit some error messages with Proposify that aren't clear, or help guide us in seeking a solution. In some cases the issues seem to resolve themselves, and in others we are able to solve the issues without an understanding of what caused the problem in the first place. In almost all cases though, we are able to find a solution, or workaround. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps us to formalize the quoting, and contracr process by ensuring that we have signatures attached to (and accepting) our terms of service when providing our software to customers. To this day, the very first proposal we created with Proposify - I still remember our customers being so amped by the layout and particularly mentioned our work during our follow-up interaction with them. Its user-friendly interface basically helps us to profess, presenting professional proposals on time and with brand new quality. The whole process from day one of setting up has been a cakewalk and the support team has been superb, will not leave you hanging when needed. Our job would be impossible to finish in time without Proposify's ready-to-use template gallery and collaborative features for real-time work. Last month I was able to pull my workmates through a really tight deadline, thanks to the availability of the real-time collaboration tool. It arranges the data very well and offers a lot of alternative ways of saving the sections of documents. We were able to see a reduction in approval times for our business and, our sales and marketing departments can work on it more effectively. Besides that, we can reduce the possibility of mistakes by saving parts of content and using them in our next orders. I also am excited about the possibility of showing the video sessions of our equipment that allow our customers to see a clearer picture of the equipment we are quoting. The customer support is always responsive and was really helpful with the implementation process, and as one of Salesforce admins for my company I also appreciate how simple the integration is between Proposify and Salesforce. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** The formatting glitches are usually ignored when using the tables which do have solutions to be found, but they are time-consuming issues that are annoying to users. One more thing that I really wish we had is the ability to "keep text together" a similar feature of Word where I could specify which block of text should go immediately after which image or paragra. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are always asked to make quotes for cars having very different features, but with Proposify, we have been able to write many different versions of this proposal extremely well and have stored our previous work so that we can always remember how we have priced an item before. I do it just infrequently enough to forget each time. The editor is a little outdated but works. Pagination can be finicky but not enough so that we'd ever want to go back to Word docs and PDF's. These two amenities are game changers for our business. As a small business, the least we have quatity of is time and these features allow us to crank out proposals quickly to perspective clients, while also having the ability in real time ot see their review of said proposal. These alone are mind-blowing and so helpful to our sales process, and ultimately are closing workflow. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** What we do not like the most is some of the editing functionality, it can be difficult to move, erase, or manipulate content. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Proposify actually saves us from hiring a contract manager because the functions are all included in the software. ### 27. I stay with it because of its clean platform, constantly updated functions, and great support. My success rate is over 95%, which I believe owes a lot to the flexibility and graphical tools that Proposify provides. Whenever something goes wrong, the team at Proposify fixes it quickly - often on the same day. Even though other proposal software vendors try to lure my business away, they can’t because Proposify still works best for me. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** I used to struggle with creating slightly different proposals for different clients until I found out about Proposify’s customizable templates. This saved time and effort. On top of that, being able to add extra fees into fee tables has helped a lot. It not only helps us close deals but also speeds up sign-up process altogether. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our proposals are often praised for their professionalism and this has frequently been a source of competitive advantage when we are up against others. When clients sign up, everything becomes even easier because now we can easily bill them using Xero through integration with Proposify. ### 28. I like being able to track if a prospect has opened, viewed and/or downloaded a proposal. Multiple users can work in the system at the same time. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** I cannot export documents from my content library. We would like to use Proposify as our "single point of truth" for sales documents, yet I cannot export a PDF from the library to use as a brochure at a trade show. Instead, we have to redo the information with InDesign. Same issue with pricing tables. I keep all of our pricing in a Google Sheet. I'd love to have pricing sync instead of constantly importing a CVS. Double entry is incredibly wasteful. The system is buggy. Oftentimes the "ribbon" disappears so we can't edit documents. Even after refreshing it doesn't appear. Then, magically, it will reappear. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Proposify does a good enough job of empowering me to create proposals, but the platform is buggy and inconsistent. I'd like to see a more robust method of dealing with version control, approval/workflow management. Better use of on-page commenting, possibly tying into our project system, Teamwork, in order to assign edits as tasks. The editor could use some help. It's very basic. We'd like to more advanced features to have more control over page layout. I would like the ability to see layers when I arrange elements. Sometimes the way elements overlap don't make sense and it takes more time than it should to get things to look right. When I copy and paste an element from one page to another, it doesn't paste in the exact same spot and it requires constant adjustment. I'd like to have the ability to select multiple elements and scale the size of all of them at the same time. ### 29. Sales Pipeline Data: Allows us to track the life of a proposal. With insight into a customer's behaviors as they view a proposal, we can better determine how to approach our next steps in the sales cycle. I collaborate closely with our Sales team. They're the primary day-to-day users, and I maintain things behind the scenes. Before Proposify, we struggled with producing proactive proposals due to the hassle of our former process with Word templates. Ensuring the sales team had the correct version, personalization, and formatting issues made using the templates a last resort, and simply put, proactive proposals were rarely being put together for our prospects. The solution was typically to send individual brochures and pricing. Additionally, the proposals looked pretty basic since Word isn't designed for graphics-heavy content and requires the user be an advanced Word user and know all of its quirks. All in all, very time consuming. We chose Proposify to simplify crafting compelling, personalized, and trackable proposals. We didn't even need to burden our in-house graphic designer for the implementation. While setting up the templates took some time up front, Proposify requires minimal template maintenance for us and offered the convenience of updating content in one place and applying it everywhere it showed up. I appreciate Proposify's user-friendly interface, which allows me to easily keep content up to date, construct templates, make edits, and generate new templates on demand. Proposify has streamlined our proposal creation process and empowered our team with self-sufficiency. The data provided on each proposal is also worthwhile to have for both Sales and Marketing. **What do you dislike about Proposify?** The only frustration I've had is with creating pricing tables for the templates. Their support team has given me tips for a workaround, and has even pitched in to help when a lot of changes were needed. That has helped tremendously. There's a bug that sometimes causes some design issues in how the tables carry over from one page to the next, but last I heard this was being fixed. It has been a little tedious, but the customer success team has always been very helpful in remedying it and has been responsive to any issue we may have in a very short turnaround. Still, I dread any time our pricing structure changes, but it always gets resolved. **What problems is Proposify solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to rely on Word templates that never looked as polished as what we achieve with Proposify. Managing various versions of Word templates was challenging and often led to using outdated content.
