One of the areas employees often struggle in security is email security. Everyone wants to be fast an effecient in their work so all too often not alot of time is taken evaluating if an email is legitimate. Byt giving our people safe teachable moments we are able to train them in how to be vigilant and more observant when checking their own email. Its much better to have them have them missing a controlled phishing email and then learning what to look out for, than for it to be after they have already been comprimised by a malicious actor. Proofpoint not only gives us that abilty, but also works closely with us to generate phishing tests that simulate real world attacks that are very relevent to our business and enviroment. Everything else. PPSAT, from an administrator perspective, is designed to "check a box" for compliance, rather than to actually educate your user base. The product is clunky and poorly integrated into the rest of Proofpoint's platform/services. More often than not, I encounter some kind of error in the portal that interrupts what I'm doing.
