There is a workaround, but it is not simple or worth the time. **What problems is PromoRepublic solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use PromoRepublic for multiplatform social media posts. ### 2. I'll list them below: Custom graphics editor with great templates, ready-made graphics, thousands of CC0 Images to use. It even resizes to specific social media including Facebook covers and ads. You can also save the images to use again and again. A calendar to manage several different accounts at once. Choose time to share and even set recurrences. You can manage several social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, and Pinterest. Statistics help you to follow some of your engagement (though not every social media supports it). Though I haven't used the function yet, you can boost Facebook posts in the system. While we haven't leveraged it yet, I am excited about the prospect. Hundreds of Pre-Made memes and what they call "Post Ideas." If you don't know how to use your social media, this can really help. They even have animated graphics. There is a part of the program called "Workforce" that allows you to share a workspace with other employees. If you have a team of more than one marketing person, you'll most likely find this extremely helpful. **What do you dislike about PromoRepublic?** There are a couple of things that could be improved, though I don't have a benchmark to know their feasibility. First, you can only have 1 Twitter account posting at a time. That creates an extra step to manage setting up accounts. Additionally, image-based social media must be done separately from the more text-friendly ones. This can be frustrating as there are times when you want words on the image and times you want words in the post. Also, the image editor is nice, but not quite powerful enough to make strong edits. Just crop and re-arrange. It's still great, but with a more powerful editor, the program would be almost perfect. **What problems is PromoRepublic solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Biggest issue solved by this program is time. By setting up graphics, resizing them in the system, and launching across several social media accounts at once on a single calendar, you get more time to focus on other areas of your business. ### 3. The editor is SO damn intuitive and easier to use than two others I've tried (Canva and RelayThat). I create podcast cover art mostly, but also create social media posts. The Editor flows and makes it easy to whip something up in a couple of minutes (30 seconds if you know exactly what you want). The post scheduler is also intuitive and does exactly what I need. Shows what's ahead and my stats for what I've already done. In a nutshell, it does what you want it do, even if you don't use everything it has to offer. I didn't even mention the templates, bonus graphic elements, bonus background images and all kinds of extra resources included that make content creation a piece of cake. **What do you dislike about PromoRepublic?** Can't save your own canvas sizes. ...... **Recommendations to others considering PromoRepublic:** If you're seeking a social media auto-scheduler and a solid, easy-to-use graphic editor for social media posts, ebook cover designs, podcast cover designs, or even memes, you will find PromoRepublic to be a stellar solution saving you a ton of time and effort. **What problems is PromoRepublic solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can now create new cover art for each episode of my podcast in just a couple minutes as opposed to the length of time it used to take me in a graphics program (or the other services I mentioned earlier). PR just makes things go quickly. I've also found myself making more social media posts simply because it's no longer a hassle. When it's easy to do, I want to do it more. ### 6. Being able to schedule posts and have them re-post as often as you like is super helpful. I have some posts that repeat ever 84 days indefinitely - it's content that needs repeating. You could schedule posts for your entire year in an afternoon. **What do you dislike about PromoRepublic?** Sometimes I have to re-sync all of my social media. Even when I have issues, though, the PromoRepublic team is super responsive and helpful. They also double back to make sure any issues were handled. I'm glad PromoRepublic has rolled out autoposting for Instagram, but am disappointed that there is an additional upgrade fee to use it. I'm actually about to hire out to have someone take care of my IG account because if I'm having to pay extra for the feature, I may as well pay it to a person. **Recommendations to others considering PromoRepublic:** I can't imagine another social media posting tool that offers more. **What problems is PromoRepublic solving and how is that benefiting you?** It replaces an additional person I would need to handle my social. Overall, I'm pleased with the platform and their support is outstanding. I've had a few issues along the way with Promorepublic. But I've always received fast help and I can tell the team genuinely cares about resolving the issues and making sure everything is working well. Also, I'm impressed that they are constantly working on improving their platform and offering extra tools to make using Promorepublic even better. I love being able to design, schedule, and track all my social posts from one tool. They also offer online trading webinars, which is helpful for social media commutation strategies. And now they are adding a way to handle messages and comments as well. This will be a fantastic addition. It's going through some growing pains. Several templates were removed that I relied on for my industry without being replaced with new ones. Our business just switched over and although there is some work to do (full Instagram integration isn't available yet and the app needs developing) the interface is great, with the ability to build out your post images in-app. I also prefer their calendar to others on competitors. Their strongest suit though is customer service; the team are absolutely lovely to deal with and on a bad day I almost want to reach out to them just to get a cheer (I don't actually do that). And to add notes (for future posts) Ability to write notes on the calendar - which can help me plan a year´s worth of different topics and ideas. I tend to be creative in bursts, that is when I sit down to create one topic, I normally come up with 3 or 5. However, If I have to say something, I would like to see them extend the ability to schedule to WordPress blog and WhatsApp. I am sure that this might be in their development plan. **Recommendations to others considering PromoRepublic:** PromoRepublic exceeded my expectations. I am a solopreneur. My core business is consulting and speaking not marketing. However I needed to build presence in Linkedin and other social networks. PromoRepublic allows me to do this without having to hire a marketing team. It allows me to schedule my posts as far ahead as I want. And as many as I want. It has pre-loaded templates (images) which I can modify - although many of them have phrases and quotes that I can use as is. It allows me to add my own branding (logo and catch phrase). It allows me to easily add links and descriptions to my youtube videos and other interesting videos that I want to share. ... allows me to plan for the future and write notes to remember what I want to talk about. Uff It just has so many features. I was looking for something like this ... and I wanted it all without having to shell out a lot of money or affecting my cashflow. If you can get into the lifetime membership - do. It is worth it. **What problems is PromoRepublic solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am trying to position myself and create a strong presence and branding in my social networks. Until now my effort has been sporadic. I am inspired, I make a video and submit a post. I am very inspired and I post 2 or 3 things. Then nothing. PromoRepublic allows me to create a permanent presence both on Linkedin, Facebook (which I am currently working on) and other platforms. Also, PromoRepublic puts me in the planning mind frame. Well, yes, you're right, it may not comfortable but this is the way it works. At some moment you connect Page 1 so the token settles. Later you create Page 2 where your FB profile is an admin. At this stage, you need to re-refresh the token so the system recognizes this newly created page. You see, if the system refreshed your token automatically without you involved in the process it would be considered by Facebook as illegal and against their Policy." ### 19. The people are easy to work with, the platform is super intuitive when I go in to edit, and they even were in front of the Instagram change that means I can post to Instagram. Other platforms fell short there. I've used Tweetdeck, Hootsuite and a couple others. PR keeps me happy. Additionally, I can create an image (regardless of posting in on the platform) super easily in their editor, and can upload elements from my own image library. Sure, it's recommended we don't have the same exact post in the various social accts, but let's face it - it's a time saver. As a 'content bundle' customer of theirs, I provide an outline of what I want each month. This sort of pre-curates and lets them do the detailed work. Sometimes they seem to miss the instruction or have problems following it. However, they fix these issues once I point them out. I'm struggling a bit with GIFs and VIDEOs for posting.
