Promo is a great resource that allows small companies with small budgets to compete in the digital world and ever-popular video ads. They allow for quick and easy video production at a fraction of the cost of professional videographers. I have found that the system glitches a lot... tells me that i need to reload the page but that the work i have been doing will be lost. The music options could be improved as well. I like that i can completely customize the colors, logos, fonts to match my brand! I work for an agency so I have multiple clients that I am creating videos for and it's super simple to switch out the colors, logos, brands and they make it easy by allowing me to upload multiple logos. Easy to use software, I have been using this for 12 months however recently had an issue where I couldnt log in to the site. The software engineers where on to this immediately and fixed the problem susper fast. Not just that but gave me some credits as an apology for the inconvenience. The platform has amazing content and the videos are super easy to edit! But the best thing for sure is the fast and efficient customer support. I made a couple of mistakes and couldn't edit my videos after publishing it (I didn't know it because it was my first time using the platform), but Tonya from customer support was SUPER helpful and helped me correcting everything. Since that time, I can testify that Promo is the first video creating company that I've ever worked with who is genuinely set up to help their clients/users succeed! This company has truly been a great help to me, an Executive pastor of a small, 11 month old church plant trying to build our membership through social media & marketing. You see, at this point in our journey, our church can't afford big marketing schemes but PROMO is affordable. I can truly testify that they have policies in place to genuinely 'HELP YOU MARKET YOUR VISION!" I especially appreciate that PROMO allows you to pause your subscription and restart at the monthly amount. THIS HAS BEEN A HUUUUUUUGE help for our little church because there are some months that we can't afford to pay our monthly fee. And I thank PROMO for this feature. So far, I've noticed that people are viewing our PROMO videos when I post them on our Facebook Page., so it appears that we are getting some attention. However, I'm still new at this, and am still learning how to publish my PROMO videos so I'm not sure how to effectively analyze how the videos are performing overall. The promo team is exceptionally helpful! I'd even go so far to say that they are even better than Amazon. We really don't like the 3 second minimum timer for video text. With human attention spans getting shorter and shorter, 3 seconds on screen is way too long in a fast paced world. This with larger teams or needing to fulfill more in-depth videos should consider promo for quick turn project arounds, but ultimately should seek more comprehensive platforms for full production. What do you dislike about Promo? Oh man. What a terrible customer service and experience. The bugs in the system wasted so much of my time. Customer service acknowledged they were working through the bugs, but asked me to go through a process with my video I paid over $200 for, but still did not get the video at the end. They have not worked out the bugs and kinks yet. This is not a solution for your videos as of yet- they launched without fully ridding their system of bugs and are charging a premium for an incomplete service. RUN!
