**What do you like best about Prometheus Platform?**

Prometheus platform is an open source log monitoring tool. It will also analyse and provide alarm when something goes abnormal

**What do you dislike about Prometheus Platform?**

Dislike about prometheus is its not a log management tool it is designed only to manage metrics

**What problems is Prometheus Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that Prometheus solving is log analysis and alerting mechanism. Built in storage is very limited in Prometheus and data gets vanished in 30 days

**What do you like best about Prometheus Platform?**

Prometheus platform's intuitive tools are easy to use and provide excellent capacity balancing. It allows easy switching from ms project, and most importantly, its implementation time is relatively short, which every user likes.

**What do you dislike about Prometheus Platform?**

It has too many parts separate as separate purchases. Also, some cost calculation fields are harder to program without setup. When I was using it, it wasn't fit for our industry, but the Prometheus team did an excellent job adapting our needs.

**Recommendations to others considering Prometheus Platform:**

Based on my experience, I would recommend the Prometheus platform to others. Its good support and functionality is something everyone likes, and one should not ignore the fact that it has improved in time and worked so well for the user.

**What problems is Prometheus Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prometheus was beneficial in our business industry, as it helped in managing our product and its cost management. As its implementation time is relatively short so one can manage time using this product, and I had highly benefitted from this software during my time.

**What do you like best about Prometheus Platform?**

Prometheus Platform makes streamlining plant processes much easier.  It also has built in functionality for plant maintenance, operations management, and safety oversight.

**What do you dislike about Prometheus Platform?**

SAP interface can be unnecessarily complicated, but there is good support to help work out any isses encountered.  More training from the vendor would be beneficial.

**What problems is Prometheus Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Plant maintenance, operations, and safety management. We also integrate with ERP, EAM, and CMMS aaplications. SAP integration is very important in our use of this product.

Updates sometimes take a while but other than that it's always worked smoothly

Customer understands the program and helps a lot with cost cutting!

Prometheus Database is a sql database used with kafka or any other serial queue for a run time live environment.

**What do you dislike about Prometheus Platform?**

latency may come in Prometheus. you have to manage it all.  Nothing more to dislike.

good database

was doing Ec2 metrics using cloudwatch to monitor and store the data into the Prometheus data base
