Prolix AI Voice Receptionist is a cloud-based artificial intelligence system that answers inbound phone calls on behalf of businesses leveraging trained speech processing such as automatic speech recognition (speech to text) and speech synthesis (text to speech) technology to provide bespoke solutions for SMB use-cases. The software uses natural language processing to understand caller intent, respond to frequently asked questions, schedule appointments, capture caller information, and route calls to appropriate team members when needed. The Prolix AI agentic speech technology is fully set-up by Prolix engineers to the businesses' specifications and system - the set-up is not complete until the customer is impressed by the result! The system operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, handling calls outside of business hours and during peak periods when staff are unavailable. Businesses can customize the AI's responses, greeting scripts, and call handling logic to match their specific workflows by contacting the Prolix Team for an immediate update. Prolix integrates with most major calendar systems/CRMs/phone providers to sync appointment bookings and log call data automatically. The platform includes a dashboard where users can review call transcripts, listen to recordings, and track call analytics. The product is designed for small to medium sized enterprises who need to manage inbound call volume without hiring additional reception staff and have no current technical expertise (who require full set-up).
