It is pretty obvious that participants do not take the studies seriously and are just here for the money. I have no issue with them wanting to be paid, so long as they take the suveys seriously. On top of that, I've used Prolific for 3 years now and I gotta tell you, some of these participants are downright online bullies. I have received some of the most demeaning and upsetting messages from participants through this platform. I've had people leave comments in my surveys that the studies were bullsh*it or message me saying htat all scientists are trash, etc. etc. **What problems is Prolific solving and how is that benefiting you?** Access to working adults. **Official Response from Marketing Prolific:** > Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your experience and greatly appreciate you taking the time to raise your concerns. There are no options to ever speak to a person (either via chat or on the phone) - your only resort is email, which takes a few days to get a response. They also have serious bugs in basic functionality. For example, the system glitches and does not pay people the amounts you specify. The invoices they provide also contain errors.
