I like Projectworks for its simplicity. Unlike other resource planning tools I've used, it's not clunky and hard to use. It's straightforward from a user experience perspective, without hidden buttons, menus, and settings. I find it's still very slow, given the amount of data it holds. It still seems to process it all very slowly, and sometimes it can be a bit of a punish to sit at the screen and wait for it to load. I love that it provides me with one system to perform all these activities, which saves me time by not having to switch between different systems. The integrations with other systems mean I don't have to re-enter data multiple times. I really appreciate the easy-to-use screens. When I'm entering timesheets, I'm able to filter project and activity codes to those relevant to me, which makes data entry quicker. The real-time project status is very helpful, since we can quickly see how much budget is left, especially for clients with strict budgets. The customizable reports are also nice, as long as you have the knowledge to build a report. Time tracking and the leave features in Projectworks are also useful. I find the onboarding part a bit limited in terms of what you can enter. I hope it can be integrated with other HR platforms aside from Bamboo. We currently use Hibob, and it would be quicker and easier if the two were connected to reduce manual input. The customized reporting feature could also be improved to make it more user-friendly. Right now, the process can be difficult to navigate, especially for users who don’t typically use BI tools. Also, the invoicing part feels very limited since it’s basically just sending an email. The transition from using the forecasting tool to being able to prepare an invoice. I also like the access level settings and being able to create these to align with staffing groups. The data migration wasn't exceptionally smooth, so we have had to make a lot of adjustments and still come across invoices not assigned to the correct budgets etc. Another thing I struggle with is some of the limiting filters, especially in the time entries tab - it would be beneficial for us to be able to filter by Budget. In the timesheet view, I'm able to open a new tab for a project and see a breakdown of the fiscal progress, which is incredibly helpful. It’s fantastic for keeping track of all project work, monitoring employee time accurately, and managing client invoicing in one place. The platform’s reporting capabilities are especially impressive — there’s an enormous catalog of reports you can build, which provides deep visibility into project performance, utilization, and financials. Overall, Projectworks is an excellent, comprehensive platform that combines project management, time tracking, and invoicing in a clean, reliable system. My only real suggestions for improvement would be: Offering tutorials or guided learning resources for the reporting features — they’re powerful but can be a bit complex for new users. Adding a feature to auto-prepare draft invoices at the end of each month, so that when admins go to generate invoices, they’re already staged and ready for review.
