First, there’s a lack of integration with our accounting software, MYOB. Second, the reporting currently includes subconsultant fees; we’d like the ability to filter reports so they do not include subconsultants, and to view comparisons based on our own invoicing. **What problems is Projectworks solving and how is that benefiting you?** Projectworks has improved our resource management and made it clearer, easier, and faster to manage overall. For example, when we’re entering a new financial year and need to update everyone’s cost/post rate, it would be great to be able to export a template from Projectworks into a CSV, then import it again after updating the CSV file. Projectworks has been a helpful tool to understand gross margin, project status, and key trends that we need in operations. In terms of UI/UX I think it's simple and very straightforward. Some icons just needs further improvement. Love that it has integration options for xero , and an sql database connector for Azue to looker studio. In terms of performance, no downtime that I can recall. Very reliable in getting accurate data required. In terms of pricing i think we're getting the value out of Projectworks as we use it to drive key business decisions. In terms of support, we get immediate answers if ever we need help. One thing that would be very useful to is to have AI Claude connector, AI . The amount of information it provides in one place is incomparable. **What do you dislike about Projectworks?** One of my pet pieves is the integration with Employment Hero when it comes to leave, it needs some refining ie. it only recognises full days, not part days of leave. Additionally, Projectworks helps me track burn to date, allowing me to see where I and my team are at, which is incredibly useful. **What do you dislike about Projectworks?** It would be good to see an hourly burn stacked against a fixed fee project to determine the gain or loss. If this could be compared to the remaining overall fee it would be helpful. If it divided the remaining fixed fee across the remaining months and gave a monthly average remaining fee with corresponding hours for personnel assigned to the project it would be helpful. As a New Zealand-based company, there's no concept of paid overtime or time off in lieu of overtime (TOIL) integrated into Projectworks, making it difficult to track and report this to Xero. We have to manually calculate TOIL and input this data into Xero. Additionally, the timesheet and time columns are in HH:MM format, but Xero and most other programs use decimal hours. It would be really helpful to have the ability to choose between HH:MM and decimal hours. Also, the ability to send overtime hours or TOIL hours to Xero is needed. I also don't like that the price is going up 17% and we just have to accept that and move on. I can see why it has gone up, I still think it is worth it, I'm still happy. But how many price hikes will I sustain and still be happy? I'm not sure. Its intuitive interface allows for easy tracking of progress, making it straightforward to stay updated. Overall, I find it to be a highly efficient solution for companies seeking complete visibility into their projects. **What do you dislike about Projectworks?** This is a very comprehensive tool, though there are a few areas that could use improvement. One notable aspect is the initial learning curve; with so many features available, some screens—particularly those related to reports and dashboards—could benefit from greater customization options. While the support team is efficient, I feel the documentation could be more thorough. **What problems is Projectworks solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool has significantly improved our ability to address issues with visibility, control, and the integration of project information. We have managed to centralize all aspects of our work within a single system, covering everything from resource planning and time tracking to budget management and billing.
