What do you like best about Projecturf?

Project Turf stood out as a user friendly and more cost effective solution for our team to use to manage our company project flow. Coming from a legacy system, charged on a per user basis, our old system was becoming expensive and was not user friendly.

What do you dislike about Projecturf?

KISS. It really is simple, basic, flatline system with basic logic to apply when managing projects, tasks and collaboration.

What problems is Projecturf solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our business has a very strong offshore component, so our efficiency as a team, requires working across multiple countries and time zones. "Task Management Perfection"

What do you like best about Projecturf?

We researched several different project management tools and found projecturf to be the best-suited for our needs. As an ad agency, we have hundreds of open jobs and projects. Projecturf allows us to see which team members are working on which projects and allows the account team to better allocate tasks based on availability. We love that you can access the software from anywhere with internet connection. Whether we're in the office, at a client meeting or working remotely, the entire team is aware of what's going on and getting real-time updates.

The interface is simple and extremely intuitive. They always seem to be listening to their customers and making improvements. If we ever do have a technical issue the support team is quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Projecturf?

It would be nice if there was a desktop application so you didn't have to have the program open on your web browser all day. The "app" is really just their mobile website. I think the functionality would be better if there was an app developed to be used on phones and tablets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Projecturf:

We have absolutely no regrets with our decision to use projecturf. We set-up a trial with basecamp, used it for one day and realized it didn't meet all of our needs. The next day we started our projecturf trial and immediately signed-up after our two weeks was up. If you're looking for a cloud-based management system, this is it! What problems is Projecturf solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our agency has become so much more productive since we began using projecturf two years ago. It has also significantly cut-back on our internal emails. Everything is in one concise and organized place, and we can easily go back and reference old jobs without having to dig through emails or company servers. What do you like best about Projecturf?

Threaded communication chains are key for managing many team at once and ensuring all communication is captured in one central location. This is the central hub for all of our project management happenings within our media development studio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Projecturf?

File management and administration can be a little clunky sometimes. Even as an administrator, I cannot change or delete some folders if they were created by other uses. Folders are useful, but can get out of hand easily. The find function works ok. Some features are hidden or in non-intuitive places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Projecturf:

A very nice interface that is mostly intuitive to use. A great project management tool that helps keep our team, studio, and projects organized. There are some features that could be improved, but for the most part we are happy with Projecturf. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Projecturf solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing multiple project teams with a total of about 50 people at once, with turnover every 4 months (at our studio within an institute of higher education).
