Its real-time updates and collaboration tools make it easier to manage distributed teams and track progress effectively. The time-tracking and resource management features are also solid, helping with workload balancing and deadline control. Additionally, I appreciate the reporting and dashboard capabilities, which provide quick visibility into project health and performance metrics. The ability to generate structured reports supports better communication with stakeholders and helps drive more data-informed decisions **What do you dislike about ProjectManager?** While the platform is powerful, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first because of the wide range of features available. There’s a learning curve, especially for new users who may not need all the advanced functionality right away. The mobile app is useful, but it doesn’t offer the same depth as the desktop version, which can be limiting when managing tasks on the go. Reporting is customizable, but having more ready-to-use templates and enhanced visual options would make it even stronger. But all of this comes at a very high cost. **What do you dislike about ProjectManager?** ProjectManager is not competitive, only really caters to larger organizations, not smaller ones. I would recommend you try to match Trello. Trello is used by a variety of IT Industries, and it is our go to everytime. Perhaps consider a free restricted version? **What problems is ProjectManager solving and how is that benefiting you?** Project Management, Time Management, Progress on Projects can be evaluated ### 3. If i set a day in the calender as a holiday or non working day. The tool count and show the hours in the work flow. We do not work on a holiday and we have extra effort to set those hours on 0. We have a lot of Task in a project. If i forget to set the holidays to 0, our capacity planing is wrong. If we do not solve this problem this will be the show stoper for this tool in our project planning. **What problems is ProjectManager solving and how is that benefiting you?** If we can not solve the problem with the capacity planing an the imports/API we can not use this tool further on ### 7. Ability to provide different types of access to projects for the users with same role. eg: If there are 5 managers and we would like to provide Manager A with edit access and rest of the managers with view only access to a specific project, it is not possible. It is all access or no access on projects. 2. Ability to track the changes made by other users. **Recommendations to others considering ProjectManager:** Try exploring all the options with all of your projects. Do a trial run for a couple of months with real data and activities. **What problems is ProjectManager solving and how is that benefiting you?** Streamlines the project management activities and have a portfolio dashboard which helps the PMO. ### 8.
