## Progress Telerik Reviews
  ### 1. Awesome Performance, Great UX, and Top-Notch Telerik Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug T. | 2016-22 Full Stack Solution Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I’ve been with Telerik since it launched. Progress feels like it’s all about “nickel & diming you to death,” and it’s clearly very different from what Telerik used to be. The Telerik support team goes above and beyond, and they’re much better than Syncfusion. I’ve recommended Telerik at every company I have been at (or kendo). The components are complete and well tested, and are WCAG compliant. But licensing was always an issue : stuff wont work, wont deploy, so any sort of upgrade was hell. Your product does not include AI / Intelligence as advertised, that an extra $2000, so a dissapointment. Its like buying a car only to fine the 4 wheels are optional extras. In general the Performance is awesome, the intergration is good and the UX are just perfect

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

I dislike Progress and what feels like their asset-sweating approach. They say the product has AI, but it doesn’t—AI is a separate purchase, which comes across as paying again for something you thought you’d already bought. If they’re this upfront about it, it makes me wonder what else is going on in the areas you can’t see? Trust is becoming an issue. With the AJAX product it is getting a little over complicated(like it can do everything) but at the cost of one feature breaking another - thank god for chatGPT. The other huge issue is the Cost of Ownership. If you have 15 developers, and any one of them may touch a telerik bit of code - you want all 15 licensed even if they never touch the UI. A floating license would be an easier sell. Then its up to the senior/lead developer to do all the support calls. This makes the move to kendoui cheaper.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using telerik for a long time, so know it well. For me the rapid prototyping and proof of concept to deliver is great - the client gets to see delivery and can feel confident. For me i can work thru itterations of a UI to get the right mix really quickly. I know that you have tested the stuff, and there is a load of stuff I dont need to worry about (eg WCAG etc)

  ### 2. A Broad Range of Web Controls, Combined with Robust Customization, Elevates the UI/UX Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario V. | Desarrollador de software sénior, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

Lot of web controls that are easy to implement, to enhance UIX, We love the way you can bind and use data using datasources, customization it's also very extensive, forums and online documentation are very helpful, the dojo tool its awesome. we use them in web applications like ASP.net, Java and Angular

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

even tho, the customization it's very poweful, sometimes one can get lost in the "Theme builder app".

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In recent years, users have increasingly come to expect web controls that are both highly responsive and visually engaging. They also place significant value on the ability to customize these controls in terms of both appearance and functionality to better align with their specific needs. For these reasons, Telerik controls have become our preferred choice. Furthermore, the Dojo tool has proven to be exceptionally valuable in accelerating the design process, enabling us to rapidly develop and iterate on mockups.

  ### 3. Huge Time-Saver with a Massive Set of Controls and Fast Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

There are so many controls you can use. It saves really a lot of time to develop with those controls. If you have some problems using them, you can create a support ticket and within 24h you get an answer! maybe not the solution, but they answer.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

The pricing is a bit high for if you only need some of the 100+ controls.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

well, when i needed a control for example a pdf viewer, it was really a long time before they implemented it. Then with support of them, i made my own viewer. until they added the viewer them selves to the list of controls

  ### 4. Progress (Telerik) Winforms/Blazor 2026

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

Having used both the WinForms and Blazor UI packages for a few years now, the great thing about that (plus all of the additional packages that I have access to) is the ease of implementation and the support/documentation (which is extensive to say the least). Pretty much everything has a mini-demo which makes it easy to utilise that particular component. Due to the subscription I'm on, the customer support for tickets is usually 24 hours - I've had to contact them a few times over the years when I was querying rather obscure issues and the team are more than happy to generate projects to try and replicate the problem or will suggest code snippets for me to try (which usually fixes the issue). Overall, very happy with everything they offer and they show no sign of slowing down with updates etc.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

There have only been 1 or 2 instances where what I have been trying to achieve has not been possible (due to how a particular component has been built, but usually they will take what I am asking for into consideratioon for a future build), but apart from that I can't think of anything negative to say about what they offer.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to build an entire solution around their UI packages allow me to focus on building the business solutions into the code without having to worry about creating the visual elements from scratch - it saves weeks (if not months) of time.

  ### 5. Honestly did not expect it to fix our resourcing mess this fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amara K. | Digital Products Agency, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

The resource allocation view across live projects is something our ops lead checks every single morning now without being asked. Seeing who is overloaded and who has spare capacity in real time means we stopped having the uncomfortable conversation about why something slipped after it already slipped. That visibility alone changed how our team leads make daily decisions and the difference in how planned our weeks feel compared to before has been consistently commented on in our retrospectives.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Setting up project templates for the first time takes longer than expected and the options can feel overwhelming without proper guidance.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were running ten plus client projects with no single place to see how they were all connected. Resources were being pulled in different directions by different project managers who had no visibility into each other's commitments and the conflicts that created were showing up as delivery failures rather than scheduling conversations. Celoxis put everyone on the same page and the reduction in last minute escalations has been significant enough that our delivery director brought it up as a measurable improvement during our last board update.

  ### 6. Excellent UI Controls and Stellar Support, Needs Predictability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fredrik B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I really like Progress Telerik for its comprehensive suite of well-developed UI controls, which allows us to concentrate on our business logic rather than developing our own input controls. The online documentation is very good and makes it easy to understand the features of their control suite, complete with example guides that significantly shorten the implementation time for us. Additionally, I find their customer support to be very helpful, as they always find a way to solve our problems in a short time period. I also appreciate that Telerik provides a much broader suite of controls compared to other tools and is updated more frequently. The initial setup was very easy, which further adds to its ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

We have been disappointed a few times regarding features on the roadmap being pushed backwards several times. Features that we have been waiting for. So we would like more predictability and timeframe on features and on issues with existing functionality. Additionally, we had some troubles when they first introduced the license key in the application.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Progress Telerik provides us a great suite of UI controls, allowing us to focus on our business logic. Their documentation and customer support help us understand features quickly, shortening implementation time, and solving our problems efficiently.

  ### 7. High-quality Blazor controls with strong documentation and fast support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I have been using Telerik UI for Blazor in various client projects for several years now and am overall very satisfied.

I am particularly impressed by the wide selection of high-quality controls: they are not only visually appealing but also very functionally sophisticated and can be easily integrated into existing projects. Another big plus is the extensive documentation. It offers many practical examples that noticeably facilitate both getting started and daily work with the components.

The support from Progress Telerik also deserves praise. For all previous concerns, I have received quick, friendly, and dedicated help. You can tell that the team is genuinely interested in actively supporting users.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

What I like less is the new type of licensing – even though I can understand that these changes were necessary.
Additionally, it would be desirable if the Balzor Data Grid could directly edit the data classes instead of always creating a copy.
But there are workarounds for that.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Telerik UI for Blazor helps us so that we don't have to redevelop all standard controls.

  ### 8. UI components that stopped being the reason our sprints slipped

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jakub D. | Product Engineering Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

The component library depth is genuinely hard to match from anything else we evaluated before committing to Telerik. Grids charts forms and data visualisation components that would have taken our frontend team weeks to build and test from scratch are available production ready and customisable enough that they fit our design system without looking like off the shelf parts. The consistency across components has also meant that our UI behaves predictably across different parts of the application which was a constant source of small but accumulating quality issues before we standardised on Telerik.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

The learning curve on some of the more complex components is steeper than the documentation prepares junior developers for and getting them productive independently takes longer than expected.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frontend development was consistently the bottleneck in our sprint delivery and a significant portion of that time was going into building and maintaining UI components that were not differentiating our product in any meaningful way. Telerik shifted that time toward the parts of our application that actually matter to customers and the sprint velocity improvement that followed was visible enough in our first quarter of full adoption that our product manager brought it up unprompted during a retrospective. The reduction in UI related bugs has also had a downstream effect on our QA cycle time which has shortened our overall release cadence in a way that compounds across

  ### 9. Perfect Solution for Dynamic Labels

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco Q. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I like that Progress Telerik includes two-dimensional barcodes like QR Codes, Data Matrix, and PDF417, which I use in the prints used by our companies (especially labels that identify the products sold); 2D barcodes are increasingly demanded by customers for their ability to store a lot of information in a small space and are useful for automating the receipt of materials. The ability to have formatting dependent on the dataset being worked on is very useful. In collaboration with SQL Server, I can generate a dataset through stored procedures (with the flexibility provided by a programming language), which offers a wide range of customization possibilities. The integration with SQL Server allows me to customize the prints according to customer needs, extracting different data and allowing the prints to evolve over time, which is a great advantage. I did not encounter any difficulty in starting to use Progress Telerik as the software suppliers who call the Telerik prints had already delivered a working software and the first versions of the reports already functioning.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

I haven't found anything so far that represents a problem.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Progress Telerik to update labels in case of company changes or customer requests and to adapt the prints. Additionally, QR codes assist internal logistics, the formatting depends on the data, and the integration with SQL Server customizes the prints.

  ### 10. Consistent Cross-Platform Components with a Solid UI and Great Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tuukka U. | Head of Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

Solid components that work consistently across multiple platforms. The UI is solid, the documentation is pretty good, and the customer service is great.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Some components force you into certain workflows and have very complex interactions that can be difficult to manage. At times, the documentation is also a bit vague, which makes it harder to understand how everything is supposed to work together.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a stable set of components for enterprise-style applications that need a consistent look and feel. With theming support and a wide selection of components, most common UI needs in typical applications are already covered, so developers can focus more on the application logic.

  ### 11. Effortlessly Builds Stunning UI, Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro Antonio N. | Full-Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I appreciate Progress Telerik because it saves me time building cool controls and makes it easier to build complete UI forms. I like having the chance to play with the controls on the website, as it gives me ideas on how to implement them. I love the documentation and forums, and the way you can vote for new features and bug fixing. The initial setup was very easy, and I've been using Telerik JS since before it became this big suite. We've been upgrading since then.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

We used to have the cheapest subscription. I didn't like the waiting time for support, so we upgraded.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Progress Telerik saves me time building cool controls and makes it easier to build complete UI forms. I enjoy experimenting with controls online to get implementation ideas.

  ### 12. Powerful, Easy-to-Use Telerik Components for Rapid UI Development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avram H. | Senior Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

Progress Telerik provides powerful, easy-to-use development components that allow rapid development of powerful and user-friendly user interfaces. Pricing is competitive and discounts for bundling multiple licenses and years of support make the products "easy to sell" to decision-makers.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Grids are not optimized to natively handle large datasets, which requires custom logic to handle paging.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Telerik UI components have allowed development focus on business logic by providing out-of-the-box solutions that are visually polished and modern. This saved hundreds of hours of development work on time-critical projects during the COVID pandemic.

  ### 13. Versatile reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yolanda C. | Co Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I use Progress Telerik to create reports included in applications and appreciate it for its ease of use, performance, and versatility. I especially value the UI controls available for MVC, WebForms, Angular, and Blazor as they cater to a wide range of needs. The initial setup was very easy, which made the transition to using it smooth.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

I think documentation could be improved with more advanced use cases and scenarios. Some features of the products are not available in the documentation, for example, some advanced databinding features for Reporting.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Progress Telerik to create reports included in applications, solving the need to display data with a predefined document standard.

  ### 14. Versatile ASP.NET AJAX Controls Elevate Our Internal Apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fraser M. | Senior IT Applications Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

We use the asp.net ajax controls and we love how great the look on our internal applications. We also love that vast array of different types of controls available as we always find one that we need to meet our developement task.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

I think sometimes the examples could be more diverse. We have found copilot to be a great help though when need examples of code.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used the asp.net controls for a wide array of business problems examples are radgrid which we have used many times to simplify data visulation and entry. We have also recently used the PDF document workflows to quickly generate PDF documents from code.

  ### 15. Consistent Visualization, Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giovanni O.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I like the support from Progress Telerik, which is very efficient and fast. The engineers show dedication in addressing the needs. Additionally, I appreciate the extensive documentation and the availability of many sample projects to get started, which makes the process easier.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Yes, it would be interesting if they developed more code examples, because they have a lot of examples, but when one goes to program directly in CCHAR, there are hardly any examples. There are examples for Maui, examples for Maui NET Core 8 and 9, but when one tries to run them in 10, there are quite a few execution problems due to the platform change.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I focus on the business rules without worrying about the visualization, saving myself time. It also benefits the clients by maintaining a consistent visual line across all web, mobile, or desktop platforms.

  ### 16. Rich, Customizable UI Components That Speed Up Development Across Frameworks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

The rich, ready-to-use UI component ecosystem that speeds up our development. The components are well-designed, highly customizable, and consistent across frameworks like ASP.NET, Blazor, and JavaScript.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

One of the main drawbacks of Progress Telerik is its licensing cost, which is relatively high, especially for small teams like us. While the product delivers strong value, the pricing may be a barrier for organizations like us.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Progress Telerik solves the challenge of building high-quality, consistent user interfaces quickly without the needing to develop components from scratch. From my perspective, the benefits are Faster development time, improved UI/UX quality, better focus on business logic, reduced bugs and maintenance

  ### 17. Superlative

Easy to integrate, with rich components overall. Everything feels feature-rich, and I especially like the Telerik Grid—it’s very interactive, with filtering and sorting.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

I’ve been using Telerik for about two years, and I don’t have any complaints about it.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is easy to integrate and saves me a lot of time, so I can focus more on the business logic instead of the UI.

  ### 19. Easy to use and implement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mosu B. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

Easy to use, lots of documentation , help and support, easy to understand tools and features

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

The licenses and support of old functionality being degraded can be off-putting

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

you dont have to build a tool from scratch, the tools with its custom functionality is already build for u to use readly

  ### 20. Streamlined Front-End UX with Robust Controls

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason Z. | Senior IT Systems Analyst, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I really like how Progress Telerik enhances the UX design of our application, providing an appealing, clean, and easy-to-use interface. The security controls feature is particularly impressive, as it allows functions to be shown or hidden based on user roles, ensuring a secure and user-specific experience. I enjoy the ease of implementation within our application, which simplifies the coding process significantly compared to building it entirely from scratch. The software saves our developers an incredible amount of time with its ready-made library for creating front-end designs, thus eliminating the need for hand-coding controls and making input validation straightforward. Furthermore, the seamless integration with Visual Studio 2022 enhances our development process. Over the years, I have appreciated how Progress Telerik introduces and improves new controls, which indicates a commitment to continuous enhancement. The initial setup was very easy, and updating the software with new releases is straightforward, enhancing our experience further. Overall, Progress Telerik has been a great asset for developing a more robust interface as our application's complexity grows.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

There really isn't much I dislike about the product, it works well for what we use it for and happy with the product.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Progress Telerik saves development time with its ready-made libraries and enhances UX design, making interfaces user-friendly and easy to navigate while simplifying input validation and security implementation.

  ### 21. Comprehensive Component Set for Seamless Development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I appreciate Progress Telerik's extensive choice of components that we can seamlessly use across Blazor, MAUI, and WinForms applications. This singular set of components streamlines our workflow by eliminating the need to learn different component sets for each platform. This consistency not only saves valuable time but also ensures that our applications benefit from the robust features Telerik offers, such as the flexible data grid in Blazor, which supports sorting, column switching, and fixing. The extensive demo apps provided by Telerik have been invaluable in getting up to speed with the toolset. Utilizing Progress Telerik since 2010, I've experienced how it continuously helps us in crafting high-quality custom software. I also value the supplier's commitment to simplicity while maintaining high-quality components.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Learning a new component set takes time, as you do not know all the components and their properties, which can be challenging at the beginning.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Progress Telerik for Blazor, MAUI, and WinForms applications. It consolidates our component sets, reducing the need to learn multiple tools and includes components that solve specific problems, like the datagrid in Blazor for sorting and switching columns.

  ### 22. The products of Progress Telerik are simply awesome. Nothing more, nothing less.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernd B. | Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I have been working with the KendoReact components for several years and use them on a daily base. I use the Telerik ThemeBuilder since a couple of months. The components are really rich from a features perspective and the documentation is very good too. And integrating them with my application was as easy as adding a couple of npm packages to my app and I was done. Implementing them in my application is really easy too and they add a lot of functionality if needed.

ThemeBuilder is for styling of a Kendo Theme and it is a great tool that makes it really easy to change the look and feel of your application.

But the best thing in my opinion is the Telerik support! These guys are incredibly smart and also very fast in responding to any issue that gets reported (if any). I can only say that I'm really very satisfied with the product and the service.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Since now I have not come accross anything that I dislike with the product. As I said before, I'm a happy customer.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If I wouldn't have the components of the KendoReact product or the ThemeBuilder application then I would have to develop a lot of things from scratch which would take a lot of time. So this enables me to be much faster in shipping final products.

  ### 23. Quick to Prototype and Deploy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumanth K. | Technical Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

The products are intuitive to use and integrate well with our own product. The documentation is helpful, making it easy to get started. The learning curve for adaptation is also quite low.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

It would have been helpful to have access to video resources. So far, we have not encountered any issues related to Telerik.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently using Telerik Reporting in our application. Previously, we relied on Crystal Reports for our desktop-based application. Now, as we develop a web-based application, we need users to be able to generate and customize reports according to their requirements and deploy them easily. Telerik Reporting has been helpful during this transition. They have even provided some tools that allow us to convert Crystal Reports to Telerik Reports without any issues.

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

Telerik’s components—both the original AJAX suite and the newer Kendo UI—have always been rock-solid, well-documented, and feature-rich. They save me countless hours on front-end development and make it easy to deliver polished, professional-looking applications. The Telerik Grid, in particular, is incredibly powerful and customizable. I also ap

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Nothing really! There’s a bit of a learning curve when moving between suites (e.g., from AJAX to Kendo UI), and occasionally the documentation could be clearer for edge cases or advanced configurations. Licensing costs can add up for smaller teams, but the value delivered still justifies the investment.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Progress Telerik helps solve the challenge of building rich, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces without reinventing the wheel. Their component libraries dramatically reduce development time by providing ready-made, customizable UI elements—especially for complex features like data grids, forms, scheduling, charts, and file uploads.

In our case, this has translated into faster project delivery, consistent UI/UX across modules, and lower long-term maintenance. The components integrate well with both legacy Web Forms and modern JavaScript frameworks, which is particularly valuable in our environment where we support both. Their tools help us focus on business logic instead of getting bogged down by front-end complexities.

  ### 28. Powerful and Flexible Reporting Tool with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pramod W. | Software Developer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

We are using Telerik reporting last 1 year. we use Telerik reporting for crystal report migration. Initially we face couple of challenges because we are new to this technology but after checking Telerik Documentation and support we got from Telerik team we completed the couple of report.
I like most here Telerik Support by 24 hours always get the reply from the with proper solution.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

1.Accessibility Documentation Could Be Clearer – Features like Enable Accessibility and ViewerRenderToolTips are available but making them work effectively with screen readers (such as NVDA) and different PDF viewers (like Adobe Reader vs. Foxit) often requires trial and error. More complete and practical examples would help a lot.
2.Inconsistent Tooltip Support Across Viewers – Tooltips (via AccessibleDescription) show correctly in Foxit PDF Reader but not in Adobe Reader or most browser-based PDF viewers. This inconsistency can create confusion for end users expecting uniform behavior.
3.CanShrink Property in PageHeaderSection – The CanShrink property does not behave the same way in PageHeaderSection as it does in ReportHeaderSection. Even when content is hidden based on conditions, the section height remains, which affects layout. Aligning its behavior with the ReportHeaderSection would provide more layout flexibility.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Progress Telerik Reporting helps us solve several critical reporting challenges:

Complex Report Generation: We can design and deliver highly structured, data-rich reports without needing to write extensive custom code. Telerik’s drag-and-drop designer and parameter support make building reports quick and efficient.

PDF Accessibility (ADA Compliance): With features like Enable Accessibility and support for tagged PDFs, we can meet accessibility standards—ensuring screen readers like NVDA properly interpret and announce report content.

Server-Side Rendering: The ability to generate reports programmatically using the ReportProcessor.RenderReport API streamlines automation and batch processing of documents.

Progress Telerik offers a comprehensive set of well-documented, high-quality UI components that are easy to integrate and customize. The controls are visually appealing, perform well, and the frequent updates ensure compatibility with the latest frameworks. Their technical support is responsive and knowledgeable, which helps resolve issues quickly

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

While Progress Telerik offers great value, the learning curve for some advanced features can be steep, and the documentation, though extensive, could provide more real-world usage examples. Additionally, the licensing cost may be high for smaller teams or individual developers.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Progress Telerik helps streamline UI development by providing a wide range of pre-built, customizable components for web and desktop applications. This reduces development time, ensures a consistent look and feel, and improves application performance. It also allows our team to focus more on business logic instead of building UI elements from scratch

  ### 30. Incredibly Easy Integration and Customizable Components That Boost Productivity

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

It is incredibly easy to integrate, and it makes us more productive thanks to its components, which are also easy to customize.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Upgrading from one version to the next can sometimes be challenging when using the ASP.Net version, because you have to make sure the CSS, JS, and NuGet package versions are all aligned.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speeds up development.

  ### 31. Enhanced Controls That Are Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

It provides enhanced controls that users find useful, with little to no extra effort required.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

The complexity of RadGridView can be hard to work through, especially when it comes to adding new rows. I think it becomes even more challenging in our case because we’re using unbound data.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides users with a modern interface that’s both easier to use and visually appealing.

  ### 32. Tech support was wonderful.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

Tech support was very helpful and professional.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

I was using WinForms controls. Features are overwhelming.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve been using Telerik WinForms controls for many years and recently upgraded my projects to the latest 2025 versions. Everything runs smoothly in my local Visual Studio environment regarding the Telerik license activation. However, I encountered an issue when trying to build the project in the CI environment, where Telerik license activation was not initiated.

I contacted technical support, and their response was very timely. They provided a detailed analysis along with additional documentation. After exchanging messages about three times, the problem was finally resolved. I truly appreciate the help from the technical support team—they were polite, knowledgeable, and very professional.

  ### 33. Great Support, but a Slightly Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I really like that there are plenty of usage examples for each component, which makes it easier to get started. The implementation with Angular is also very smooth, and I use it daily in my projects. It’s very rare that I can’t find a component I need — there seems to be a solution for almost every use case. However, if I need to customize something beyond the basic examples, I usually need to reach out to support. I haven’t really used third-party integrations yet, so I can’t comment on that.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Some components have a slightly steep learning curve, especially when it comes to more advanced customizations. Also, the price can feel a bit high for smaller teams or projects.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me develop applications faster by providing ready-to-use and well-designed components. It also ensures code standardization across the project and avoids unnecessary duplication of components. This saves a lot of development time and helps keep the codebase clean and maintainable. Updating to a new version is very simple, and there are frequent updates that keep the library improving over time.

  ### 34. Effortless Controls and Real-World Examples Make It Stand Out

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy J. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

The ease of use in terms of their controls and tools. They also tend to have very realistic examples that can be applied to real-world situations. I also like the technical support over the years.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

They have a lot of tools and suites of tools. It can be confusing to know which bundle or bundles to choose.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Telerik helps with legacy WinForms based applications and modern Blazor based websites by providing robust components that require less coding than existing Visual Studio components from Microsoft. A prime example is the grid controls they have for various platforms. They are easier to implement and have many features that can be enable merely by toggling a property.

  ### 35. Excellent Controls and Fast Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc V. | CTO / CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

The vast amount of great controls. Telerik is easy to integrate and use. Support is fast and able to help.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Sometimes even simple adjustments or additions in components take long to implement or are not implemented at all, even when there are various votes or missing key functionality.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Telerik we create modern looking applications with flexible possibilities. Also reporting is easy to integrate.

  ### 36. Good Set of ASP.Net Ajax Controls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

For those that need a better set of controls than the out of the box Visual Studio ASP.Net Ajax controls, the Telerik controls provide a mature and consistent set of controls that perform well in production and consumer facing web applications.

The controls are easy to implement and in some cases can be directly swapped for the equivalent Visual Studio controls. This allows for ease of integration when converting from older web controls.

I've used more advanced features and had my share of interesting things that I didn't understand when trying to get controls to do what I want. In these cases, I've created support tickets as part of my subscription and found them to be tremendously insightful and helpful. They somehow seem to be able to read our minds in some cases.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Some of the things I dislike about the ASP.Net Ajax controls are:
The lack of a full-fledged style manager. Telerik as some basic style manager features that can be loaded in but it is quite limited compared to their other products.
Poor documentation quality. While this has improved over the years, the javascript api is quite limited to the point of just being a list of methods without any context in how to use the properties and methods in more complex cases.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes for an easy set of controls to implement advanced web user interfaces.

  ### 37. A good components suite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gianluca M. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

What I really appreciate about Progress Telerik is how much easier it makes my daily work as a developer. Their tools—especially the UI components—are intuitive and save me a ton of time when building more complex applications. I also like how smoothly everything integrates across different frameworks, which helps me stay focused on the actual development rather than dealing with compatibility issues. The documentation is clear and helpful, and when I’ve had to reach out to their support team, they’ve always been quick and spot-on with their answers. All in all, it’s a solid toolkit that I’ve come to rely on, and it keeps getting better with each update.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

There isn’t much I’d really call a downside with Progress Telerik, but if I had to mention something, it would be the cost—especially for freelancers or small businesses. The tools are excellent, no doubt about it, but the pricing can be a bit of a stretch if you're working with a tighter budget. Also, a few of the more advanced features can take some time to get the hang of, especially if you’re new to the ecosystem. That said, once you’re up and running, the overall value and the quality of support do make it feel like money well spent.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the things I value most about Progress Telerik’s Components Library is how it helps tackle some of the common headaches in modern app development.

First off, it really speeds things up. Having a full set of ready-made UI components means I don’t have to build everything from scratch, which saves a ton of time. On top of that, I get consistent results across different platforms and devices, without having to dive into endless tweaks or customizations to make things look right.

The quality of the components is also solid—they’re fast, reliable, and clearly well-tested. And whenever I’ve needed help, the documentation has been detailed and the support team quick to respond, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to keep a project moving.

All in all, using Telerik lets me focus more on the logic and real business needs of the application, instead of getting bogged down in UI problems. It definitely boosts my productivity and helps me deliver better results.

  ### 38. Working on telerik ui for blazor since 2 years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sainath S. | Principle Software Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

The documentation covers all the details that are needed for you to use progress telerik in your project. Not just this, with an inline editor in the document that helps you to write your code and understand how the component works in your project. Also, when I raise a support ticket the team usually responds with in 24hours. That’s a wow…

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Like I mentioned above, document has all the details, some times it takes time to search and find what you are specifically looking for. I know you can use the top search bar. When you hit this, even the search results are huge.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are developing an application for our organisation product and this application UI is entirely built using telerik.ui.for.blazor library.

  ### 39. Almost Perfect with some minor issues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitin P. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

-> Completeness (Breadth and Depth or coverage) of the product. e.g. multiple Designer options like a PC-based exe and also a web-based solution.
-> No major/minor bugs
-> Integrating into the current project is simple.
-> Tech support even for the Trial is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Some irritants and minor bugs e.g.
1. If I add->Delete->Re-add the web-based designer or web viewer in my project then in Program.cs the line app.UseTelerikReporting(); is added multiple times. This causes a crash. So while adding this line a check for presence of the line in Program.cs is necessary
2. If I want to add a line in my report then I have to click on "Shapes" then I get an ellipse then change the Type of Shape to a Line and then adjust the Height. This is a very long process.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to migrate from Crystal Reports to a capable reporting solution and Progress Telerik Reporting seems a great fit for that. It is even offering a "Migration Wizard".

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

Wide range of components available. Very complete documentation.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Some older components do not adapt to some security requirements (e.g. inline scripting).

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows time to be saved in development.

  ### 41. Reliable development toolkit that saves tons of coding time!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prita C. | Senior Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

Telerik makes front end and UI development much faster. The pre built components look modern and professional, so I don’t have to spend hours styling or debugging small things. The integration with .NET and Visual Studio is smooth and stable, which really speeds up project delivery.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Some updates break older projects or need a few tweaks to work again. The documentation could be a bit clearer in places, especially when using newer components.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It cuts down repetitive coding and helps us deliver consistent interfaces across multiple projects. We can focus more on logic instead of layout and UI bugs. The time saved on front-end work easily translates into faster turnaround for clients.

•	Performance is top-notch. Even with complex datasets, the grid remains snappy and responsive.
•	The support for data-binding options (like declarative and programmatic) makes it versatile across various architectures.

RadMultiColumnComboBox: A Beautiful Data-Driven Dropdown

•	This control combines the best of a grid and a combo box, allowing users to search and select from structured data with multiple columns.
•	It's highly customizable in look and behavior, making it easy to match your application’s style.
•	With its built-in filtering, virtualization, and keyboard navigation, it dramatically enhances the user experience for selection-heavy interfaces.

Final Thoughts: Together, RadGrid and RadMultiColumnComboBox provide developers with powerful building blocks for enterprise-level applications. Whether you're aiming for high usability or robust data management, these controls make the job faster and the outcome more polished.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

Nothing, Telerik provides the perfect balance of form and function for third-party controls.

  ### 43. Possibly the best UI library for Blazor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin B. | Application Development Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

They have an incredible selection of controls. I have yet to find something that I've needed that they don't have. There are so many additional controls that I haven't needed yet, but I see value it all they do.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

The price is a bit high. If you're not going to use a lot of the product then it may be worth looking elsewhere. Also, there are no free templates to get you started.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can quickly generate dynamic user interfaces.

  ### 44. Great out of the box

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mia C. | Full Stack Web Development Teaching Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

The best part about Kendo React UI besides the components themselves is the Support.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

There's still a few lingering bugs our team has pointed out. For a paid product, I was surprised there were several bugs we found while trying to implement a few different components.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kendo React UI allows us to spin up UI updates and new features much more quickly than "hand-rolled" frontend code.

  ### 45. Exceptional Support when Submitting a Ticket

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

I recently had the opportunity to experience Telerik's support for their Blazor components, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. As a developer, encountering issues is inevitable, but the quality and speed of support can make all the difference in maintaining productivity and project timelines.

My recent interaction began when I submitted a support ticket regarding a specific challenge I was facing with their Blazor suite. To my delight, I received a response within less than 24 hours. This rapid turnaround time is truly commendable and speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service.

What was even more impressive was the quality of the response itself. The support engineer provided the exact right answer to my question, demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of their product and the underlying Blazor framework. They didn't just point me in a general direction; they provided a precise, actionable solution.

Furthermore, the solution was accompanied by clear, step-by-step instructions on how to implement the fix, along with direct links to the relevant documentation. This comprehensive approach saved me significant time and effort, allowing me to quickly resolve the issue and move forward with my development.

In an industry where support experiences can often be a source of frustration, Telerik's Blazor support stands out as a shining example of efficiency, expertise, and customer-centricity. Their prompt, accurate, and well-documented assistance is invaluable for anyone working with their components. I highly recommend Telerik for Blazor, not just for their robust components, but also for their outstanding support team.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

While the support experience has been outstanding, I sometimes find that certain Telerik Blazor components don't offer the exact flexibility I need for specific UI requirements, leading me to create workarounds to achieve the desired functionality.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the significant advantages of Telerik Blazor components is that they provide a rich set of out-of-the-box solutions, which greatly simplifies and accelerates the coding process when building applications.

I believe its the same point i need to make again. the features are great, reporting structure and view is robust, but to reach that point, it takes multiple hours of effort to learn the tool.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am mostly using Progress Telerik for its dashboard creating purposes. and it is very beneficial for me as a data analyst. It is very easy to build a quick report for my offline projects and have the reports customised.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Progress Telerik solves the challenge of rapidly building high-performance, visually appealing, and user-friendly applications across multiple platforms.

By providing a rich set of UI components, developer tools, and reporting capabilities, Telerik simplifies complex development tasks and accelerates delivery timelines. It improves productivity, ensures a consistent user experience, and significantly reduces development overhead.

  ### 49. Enjoy working with Telerik Controls

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haim K. | Head IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Progress Telerik?**

The support is excellent. They even solve problems when the fault is in the code and not the control. The response time is excellent and they are almost always very accurate in their answers.

**What do you dislike about Progress Telerik?**

No particular downside other then the need to rely on 3rd party controls, which I am happy to sacrifice for their convenience.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows for rapid development of native applications in WPF and Winforms (the two main platforms I use). It reduces the complexity particularly when formatting and customizing the controls.

Honestly, there is not much not to like, they have a great product as well as great support team.

**What problems is Progress Telerik solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we start using Telerik controls. we spent a lot of time and resources on building controls ourselves, which were lower quality and more expensive than Telerik control proved to be.
