"Inspecting request, made easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

With Fiddler, it's very easy to setup and start inspecting requests from the get go. The simpleness of use is top. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

The interface could be better... And also, some advanced settings could be easier to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Developer Fiddler Review"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

I like how easy it is to get up and running with the application as well as how versatile it is. I've used it as a proxy to expose a localhost site via IIS, but mostly I've used it to log network traffic in order to debug some problem or figure out how something is working without the source. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

I don't like the user interface design, nor do I like the user experience. I find it somewhat ugly / old looking and I also think it can be pretty complex to use in general if you aren't tech aware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After figuring out the layout, the provided tools are extremely useful and fully featured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

Unfortunately the design from a user experience perspective is very lacking, and often difficult to navigate, especially in the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent debugging tool for working with APIs and 3rd Parties"
5/5
What do you like best about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

First, it does a great job of simply tracking and reporting all requests from a web page. I love the filtering, rules for displaying only requests that match a specific pattern, and the ability the edit and replay a request. Its a critical debugging tool for web developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

The interface can be a bit confusing and hard to find where to do the thing I need to do. However, I do get it worked out in the end. Part of this could be due to the fact that I only use it once a month or so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fiddler - explore all web traffic"
3/5
What do you like best about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

I love how fiddler creates a proxy and tracks pretty much all web traffic coming and going from my development computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

Setting up filters to look at simple traffic patterns is just as tedious as setting up complex filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The tool I used the most"
4/5
What do you like best about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

Use of Breakpoints, fiddle with request and response. First identify the problem by fiddling and only in end do the code change. This is my most liked feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

With all the modern browsers coming up with their own debugging tools, the use of fiddler has reduced. And even most corporates have restrictions to install this software- this was the thing which i really disliked Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best web debugging tool for desktop apps"
5/5
What do you like best about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

It provides the ability to save web requests, highlighting individual requests, making edits to a request and resend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

The biggest limitation is that Fiddler doesn't run on Mac. Alo there are a lot of tabs and buttons on the UI which makes the app not very easy or initiative at the beginning (but once you passed the initial learning stage then it will become a very handy tool). "Great tool for testing your services"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

Easy to use, gives you full control over what you send to your site or your web service.

To make custom calls to your site or service, many times you need to develop some proprietary tool. Fiddler gives this ability very handy - you can customize the request to your site or web service and make any call you want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Telerik Fiddler?

Hard to keep history or different options for alternative calls you might have.

It doesn't not support all protocols one might need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
