Flexibility, ubiquitous, and many great out-of-the-box tools to build from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

WYSIWYG is not always WYSIWYG. Version upgrading has been complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible templates and tools make it easy to customize and edit"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

There are plenty of pre-built widgets for all kinds of content including news, blog, social media, general content, and more. The templates are easy to work with and Sitefinity also options a number of connections to platform such as HubSpot and Marketo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Drag and drop features can be buggy when trying to place widgets and content into pages. Also, sometimes the styling can interfere with adding content because it renders front-end code on the backend making it difficult to place/edit content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Overall, my time with Sitefinity was good."
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

I enjoy making adjustments to web pages in real-time and paying close attention to the placement of elements on the website. Progress's technical support staff is accountable and works diligently to resolve issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

It is difficult to pinpoint a flaw, although the procedure of updating to newer versions may be one. I believe the manual may use some further details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sitefinity Feedback from DART"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

I am very pleased with the product roadmap of this product and their customer support. We are currently testing .net core support since beta version of Sitefinity and their developer has been helping throughout this process. Their response time and time to resolve our development issues for this has been extraordinary. We have scheduled a monthly check-in for our adoption of their new release and allowed us to talk to their dev's directly when we need help. This gives us confidence to use their latest releases as soon as they come in so that we can benefit from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

They need to change the whole stack to .net core for more performance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Sometimes pubilsing and page loads are very slow. We have had very few issues but on a few occasions, we have had challenges with troubleshooting issues and longer than expected resolution time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very Solid not Spectacular"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

It is pretty straightforward to use. It has a good permission approval process that has allowed me to open up content creation to a bigger group than I normally would. We used WordPress and the learning curve wasn't that bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Some of the little editing things like increasing padding or margins is harder than other CMS page builders. Would be nice to be able to do it while editing. Also cant use webp images. It would be nice if they invested in some real solid tutorial videos. The available ones were average at best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Upgrades can be troublesome and end-user features are getting lost in the transition from web forms to MVC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
