"A decent website CMS platform"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

The interface is easy to navigate. I'm able to edit websites on either the design or HTML side. I'm also able to write news articles and schedule them for publication at a time and date of my choice. I would say it's on par with other website CMS platforms I've used - not outdoing them but not being outshone by them either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

The main downside is that every so often I'm not able to make website updates when I would like due to an error message (return code: 0) for whatever reason prevents me from saving my changes. This error (not sure if this is just my company or if others also experience this) does eventually resolve itself after a while (not sure how) and so thankfully I can go back and make the updates and save them. "Enterprise level CMS"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Extensible, robust CMS. Following some of the latest trends on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

There is always room for improvement. As any other CMS, taking a new team member to develop under Sitefinity is always a challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

""A great CMS platform!""
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

The connection point is not difficult to explore. I'm ready to alter sites on either the PHP or HTML side. I'm likewise ready to compose news stories and schedule them for distribution at once. I would agree that it's comparable to other site CMS tools I've utilized-not outperforming them yet not being eclipsed by them by the same token. I value that the thing uses an informational collection rearward. I like how flexible the thing is. We can integrate custom code into the Sitefinity project. This supports our ability to integrate electronic business parts, client help decisions, and content that is tweaked for each client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

The principal drawback is that occasionally I'm not ready to make site refreshes when I would like because a blunder message (bring code back: 0) for reasons unknown keeps me from saving my changes. This mistake (not certain on the off chance that this is only my organization or on the other hand assuming others likewise experience this) does ultimately sort itself out sooner or later (not certain how) thus, fortunately, I can return and make the updates and save them. I disdain how limited the database is for the Sitefinity Cloud climate not approaching your creation climate. That was the worst thing for an endeavor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Although overpriced and terribly supported it is an outstanding enterprise solution"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Progress Sitefinity offers a very intuitive back-end interface for marketers to easily maintain their content and get done what they need to. Modules are uniformerly structured and users are up and running easily. The ability to define granular roles and permissions, define workflow as well as its many out of the box features allows it to be customised to meet various client needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Having rolled out 50+ sites on Sitefinity I can say the product is poorley supported by the authors and community. Support forums go years with the same issues that are never resolved. The marketplace is almost non existant. When things go wrong, they go very wrong and you require a developer to jump in (and Sitefinity developers are few and far between). "Sitefinity CMS Meets Our Business Needs Around The World"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Sitefinity CMS meets our needs around the world. It is a scalable solution that provides a multi-language solution for our all of our websites and brands. We looked at many other solutions but found this to be the best fit for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Currently we need significant agency support to build new assets in the CMS so it requires much more technical knowledge. It would be nice to have more out-of-the-box features versus the need to always develop customizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fair and flexible solution!"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

I appreciate that the item utilizes a data set toward the back. I like how adjustable the item is. We can coordinate custom code into the Sitefinity project. This supports our capacity to incorporate web-based business parts, client assistance choices and content that is customized to every individual client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

A ton of what should be possible inside Sitefinity feels hard to find, this could be due to unfortunate documentation in regions. This makes taking on Sitefinity very troublesome. It isn't so much that Sitefinity is horrible here, yet it tends to be all in all an errand to track down the right answer for an issue, and frequently Sitefinity has something set up to guarantee you don't have to waste time, yet it would simply be great if that was simpler to find. "Helpful and Easy to use Software!"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

The user experience of being able to hop in and create/edit content with no deep background, but having the capibilities of deep coding projects if needed. All tools are self-intuative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

If you need deeper programming or coding work done, you'll need addtional support in terms of staff or vendor to execute the project. I do wish there was a bit more support or training where this would be a thought. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Long-time Sitefinity user with nothing but good things to say about this CMS."
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Currently, my favorite thing about Sitefinity is the headless architecture of the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish I had a community of users from my industry using this product. I would enjoy sharing insight with other people that share similar use of sitefinity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great WYSIWYG editor, but documentation and developer tools could be improved"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

The overall editor experience is lovely, really easy to use and makes for a nice 'live-like' experience when changing content out. I would rate the usability of the back-end very highly if you're simply just editing pages and managing basic content outside of this, like media.

Sitefinity is also packed full of features, web services (API) built in, CRM, etc... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

A lot of what can be done within Sitefinity feels difficult to discover, this could be down to poor documentation in areas; while there are examples for some things there are not for others and the docs assume a lot of 'basic Sitefinity knowledge' which doesn't translate from other CMS solutions... This does make adopting Sitefinity quite difficult.

It's not that Sitefinity is terrible here, but it can be quite a chore to find the right solution to a problem, and often Sitefinity have something in place to ensure you do not need to reinvent the wheel, but it would just be nice if that was easier to discover.
