"Allows for a wide variety of customization options and expansion modules."
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Thanks to Sitefinity, we were able to set up and begin managing an online store in record time. We were already using authorize.net with our previous CMS, so that part of the transition was smooth. Sitefinity has a lot of advanced functions. The Sitefinity code has always worked flawlessly for us. The level of customization isn't always where we'd like it to be, but once it's there, it's practically indestructible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Sitefinity could benefit from more in-built customization options. Unlike with front-end administration, back-end changes typically necessitate the assistance of a programmer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sitefinity helps us create excellent experiences for our clients."
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Progress Sitefinity is accessible to all stakeholders, making our jobs at BoxCrush easier. The platform is intuitive and easily navigated, which is ideal for our clients and internal team members. The easy-to-use interface translates into well-made and manageable websites that are eye-catching and have exceptional functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Progress Sitefinity often changes the licensing structure, which is confusing for our clients. Since we are a Sitefinity Partner, we want to avoid confusing clients who are less familiar with the nuances of such changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

It is heavily Jquery bases so sometimes there are chances to get stuck with some Jquery errors in the backend, but their community support articles help to resolve them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sitefinity CMS review"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

The separate architecture based on static pages and dynamic modules Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Backend capabilities like sorting and reordering(not filtering) for most of the backend modules. Pages and documents have it, but all other modules - do not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Web CMS That is simple and easy to use"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Progress Sitefinity is a simple and easy-to-use CMS on a cheaper budget than something like Kentico. However it allows you to make sites that are just as beautiful at a fraction of the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Progress Sitefinity's UI can be pretty simple and barebones at times. It's primarily black text on a white background, with menus that are file dropdowns like windows. The UI has few dynamic features, so it can be boring to look at and a little tedious to find where you need to go as some of the menus are very large. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easier to use when compared to other CMS like SharePoint"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

The personalisation part of Sitefinity. I can never do that with SharePoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

I don't like it when a site is made offline and yet the content are still published and listed in the site search but are inaccessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sitefinity"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Sitefinity enables us to do so much out of the box easily. We have many users of all experience levels able to use Sitefinity to get content out there with little training. When we do need support the response has always been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

The upgrade process can be cumbersome, and it's taken some time to adapt to it compared to other solutions. There are a few gaps in functionality that you are expected to develop on your own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sitefinity for everyone"
What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

i like the flexability with the custom modules and widgets to use for displaying things Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

the locking of the error log is annoying but i think that has been addresssed. The to get the categories or related items from the rest api could be easier. I would like async widget option. Get rid of lstring, they are not worth keeping and confuse new people to sitefinity. Caching caches mvc controlsd and i would like a check box on widgets to not cache responses for a specific widget on a page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
