What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

It is very easy to use and program, basically you do not need too much knowledge in programming to start it up, it is quite compatible with external systems to centralize the processes that need to be carried out, it has a wide range of developers which makes it easy to find information and documentation about the tool. What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

The tool does not have a sufficiently complete visual editor which at times hinders the design of web pages limiting the creative ideas of developers, some integrated applications take a long time to load which can be frustrating if we want to design a sufficiently fluid and ergonomic website. What problems is Progress Sitefinity solving and how is that benefiting you?

With this tool we can perform the loading and modification of content in real time in a simple way, we also keep our website updated after being created and enabled, it is compatible with various operating systems and browsers making it much more scalable, with the tool we have a website easy to locate on the network. This tool allows in a practical way the creation of websites for any type of purposes offering a series of features that make the experience a little more fluid and less complicated, also allowing to add integrations ranging from accounting sections, consumer management, automatic publication of content and e-commerce systems. What I like best about Sitefinity is how you can personalize and reuse widgets such as content blocks. For example, I have multiple pages that I need to use lengthy content; I could make it a reusable content block and use it across the relevant pages. Save me a lot of time. What do you like best about Progress Sitefinity?

Sitefinity allowed us to launch and operate an eCommerce platform very quickly. Its integration with authorize.net, which we already used on our previous CMS platform, made the transition seamless. Sitefinity has very robust features. We have never had any errors with the Sitefinity code. Sometimes it isn't as customized as we would like, but it's practically bullet-proof when launched. What do you dislike about Progress Sitefinity?

Our organization is a non-profit and usually requires something different than everyone else. It would be nice if Sitefinity had more customization built-in. Usually, changing something requires programming assistance and can not be done on the back end administratively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Progress Sitefinity solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sitefinity solved the problem of having an in-house CMS platform with no external support. All of the updates and security patching used to be on us. Now that we have Sitefinity, we can rely on its programmers' quality implementation and exacting standards to do the job right.
