The drag and drop page builder is extremely intuitive and even my non-developer coworkers can build, edit, and modify the pages without breaking anything. The personalization engine is a piece to highlight as well, we can display different CTAs to newbies, different ones to repeat shoppers, etc. Real time analytics dashboard is built in to provide live information about the performance of a page and we can adjust content on the spot. It takes a steep learning curve to be able to customize some of its features, such as .Limited independence of our marketing team due to NET knowledge. Upgrade can cause disruption, sometimes even causing custom widgets to become disrupted until we manually correct them. I like the drag and drop facilities available in Progress Sitefinity. It's easy to grip pages, navigate, and do a lot of things with images, videos, and iFrames. You just drag and drop inside, which is quite convenient. I also appreciate that there are a lot of good features for the site, and the security purpose is very good. I faced the problem that it's not user-friendly compared to WordPress and other platforms. Sometimes, it's time-consuming to edit or upload and save changes. I like the customization in Progress Sitefinity. We can create modules as per our requirements and specifications, which is really helpful. There are some limitations like we cannot do bulk uploads. Which is not possible. Like, there are n number of rows we have to upload. On a website, like a table. The clean, intuitive user interface and how easy it is to update content. We use Sitefinity Cloud, and their support is very helpful. On the rare occasion the site runs into issues (cloud availability incident), support has usually already started looking into or already resolved the problem. They changed their support tiers, so you now have to pay more for the support you used to receive as part of your plan. The response times are now slower, which can be frustrating. It is rather expensive in general. We had custom functionality added by a Sitefinity partner, so upgrading Sitefinity can be somewhat problematic as the custom functionality can break in the process. It's also not easy to see content types or modules linked to a page so to make an update requires going through a maze. It's also very dev heavy making it harder for non technical people to use it. For a small non-profit, this is great because non-technical staff can update the site quickly, and it offers strong features for security and personalized donor communication. Sitefinity's licensing fees and the need for expensive, specialized developers for the initial setup and major changes often put it out of reach for non-profits with limited budgets.
