We can connect from any network and have a central computer back in Europe while we are traveling. This is very important as we have to visit clients and have fast access to all the records and folders in the headquarter **What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?** it takes time to load and some times it connects and disconnects and it is not very reliable. The big problem is that the efficiency of the connection impacts a lot on the speed and user experience. Sometimes it disconnects without any notice or apparent reason and takes time to re connect and start the computer. **Recommendations to others considering Progress ShareFile:** Be sure to get the best plan to solve your problem and have the right amount of training and support sessions. **What problems is Progress ShareFile solving and how is that benefiting you?** it takes time to load and some times it connects and disconnects and it is not very reliable. Working remotely. Mostly the problem of caring information in your computer can be avoided having all in a central computer in a save place and it makes easy to be mobile. We used it extensively when doing all the development of our current software system beginning in 2012. Enterprise File Sync & Sharing is a huge help for project management, insight and sharing data with my peers. We use it to share spreadsheets, utilize group editing, etc. It really does feel secure and easy to use. **What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?** Load times vary but frequently cause issues with our three year old machines. It can be frustrating to learn the technology for new users. We try to do training with them, but those with a background in the industry find it easy to utilize the applications. For example, it happens at least once everyday that I go looking for a file I placed in SF the day before that's gone to my recycle bin--even though I did not delete it. No iOS direct integration - can't open/save direct to Sharefile like dropbox or OneDrive. Costs/month is relatively high compared to features. I often have to do it 3 or 4 times. **Recommendations to others considering Progress ShareFile:** My clients have had problems accessing their folders as a result of their browser - think it is explorer that seems to have a bit of trouble. **What problems is Progress ShareFile solving and how is that benefiting you?** One stop shop for all of my clients images makes life easier. **Official Response from Michelle Dettloff:** > Hi Johnny, Thank you for your review. I can imagine that would be quite frustrating, especially if it is happening often. Easy file transitions/transactions. Great outlook widget. **What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?** Having a tough time getting the remote upload wizard working on our website. Creating the forms and code within ShareFile was easy and was hoping implementing it on the website would be just as easy but we've run into issues. **Recommendations to others considering Progress ShareFile:** Ask all your questions during the demo and give them as much information as possible on what systems you are using. **What problems is Progress ShareFile solving and how is that benefiting you?** Need file storage beyond what our One Drive was delivering. It integrates and makes file submissions/uploads/direct from email one complete workflow. We were able to cut out steps in our process. ### 35. Having an app that worked on all devices is very beneficial and key to onboarding individuals on different platforms. The WebDAV feature is also very useful for interacting with SharePoint Online. **What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?** The key aspects are unclear, but some features or services were discontinued after the purchase. A better form of remote access is built in for users to have more control. **What problems is Progress ShareFile solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allowing mobile users to interact with their desktop apps via the app on their mobile device was a great benefit. **Official Response from Michelle Dettloff:** > Hi! Using RightSignature allows me to get contracts out quickly and signed even quicker. Easy access to the support/sales team and live chat is always a nice feature. **What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?** The platform is a bit un appealing. I'm a visual person and I like the apps I'm using to appeal to the eye. A good feature is the integration into your web browser which can be handy for instant access. **What do you dislike about Progress ShareFile?** there is not much of a reason to choose this over docusign and echosign. They are too similar. **Recommendations to others considering Progress ShareFile:** again its another programme that provides a valuable service but one that can easily be integrated into an office suite software. Its not worth the pricing, which is fair.
