It's simple enough to use. Ability to customize apps is nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Progress Podio? How apps do not communicate. (i.e. create an app for leads that evolve to sales but in the sales app it does not pull data from previous app or continue to update both). The lack of integration with other platforms like payrolling capabilities, applicants directly applying to system, termination codes, reporting on previous data, tracking tasks, projecting profits, overall project management if very hard to track easily in this system. That you basically can build anything you want. Making relationships between the different "apps" are super easy and empowers your data. Also some of the ways of viewing data is pretty good. It does not seem like any app is really meant to be a calendar (you cannot make a new appointment directly for instance), there is no sync with mails other than to a weird unorganised "feed", and you have to scroll through all of your data in a single row even though you might be rocking a 27" screen. There's not a lot that I like about Podio. At first glance, the interface seems great. The platform is very robust, and does allow for a lot of customization for specific teams' work flows, but that's about as far as I can go with the likes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Progress Podio? Every feature on Podio feels like it's been tacked on as an after-thought. I can generally find a way to do what I want in Podio, but it's almost never in a way that makes sense. Our biggest use case is to organize projects and facilitate communication within our small (less than 20 people) team. To that end, we can create projects and share information - but it's a constant exercise of figuring out how to share the information in such a way that your other team mates will find it and get use out of it. - "Tasks" are a half-brained poorly thought out and barely useful (even, usable) feature. - "Projects" lack organizational features (like labeling or organizing project assets eg, documents, image assets, pdfs, etc) and conversation/discussion tools beyond a constant consciousness comment stream that is mixed with project activity. - "Projects" lack a way to filter projects that \*you\* are involved with or are following. - There is so much noise with all the activity streams, comments, workspace notifications, etc. It is like using Facebook to try to get work done. But if you work in a space where the most common processes are 1) Sell the client your service 2) ?????? 3) Get paid, then you might have issues building processes in Podio that will facilitate more efficient communication and project management.
