Their sales channel is very aggressive - wanting early renewals, offering dubious discounts for early renewal, badgering frequently if you are wanting additional licenses, if you are going to renew licenses later in the year, etc. If the software wasn't so strong I would have gone elsewhere on this point alone. What I like best about Kendo UI when using it with ASP.NET MVC is how seamlessly it integrates with the framework. I have used Telerik tools since they started. I have always found the presentation is excellent and it is very flexible. I have used it in almost every language that they have the UI available for.

It was an excellent product when it came out and it still is. I like the way it looks and the extensibilty.

I don't like the fact that they make you pay for the theme builder separately. It was a useful tool that helped you make the controls your own. Now I spend a lot of time in the developer tools of the browser looking up CSS classes and overriding them so I can make it look the way I want. It's a value add and should be provided if you are a paying user.
