What do you like best about Progress Kendo UI?

The Progress Kendo UI controls are simple to deploy, easy to maintain and integrate well with a variety of web frameworks. They are full-featured and offer many of the capabilities that we want out of the box. They are also easy to customize in those cases where the default implementation is not enough. What do you dislike about Progress Kendo UI?

I would like to be able to customize the look and feel of the controls more easily. We typically need to integrate the controls into our software applications and ensure they are consistent with our customers' style conventions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Be aware that you can use individual components in the Kendo UI package without implementing the entire solution. We pick and choose what we consider to be the "best of breed" for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Progress Kendo UI solving and how is that benefiting you?

We produce a data-intensive web applications for companies in the wholesale apparel industry. Our web products require high-performance UI components, including grids, drop-down lists and charting controls.

We use the Kendo UI controls in several production applications and have been pleased with their ease of implementation, reliability and performance. The Progress online documentation and support blog is superior and I use it routinely. It is also important to us that this product is open-source and lends itself readily to customization. What do you like best about Progress Kendo UI?

The documentation can be a bit overwhelming at times, but once you understand how it is laid out it is easy to find what you are looking for. The Knowledge Base and support teams are also first rate! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Progress Kendo UI solving and how is that benefiting you?

When a customer asks for a personalized report, it is easy to make it look better than they expected by using the Kendo UI controls because of how professional they look when used. What do you like best about Progress Kendo UI?

This allowed us to work more quickly and efficiently getting our software to the business. Great Support by Kendo team whenever we face any issues. The availability of different controls and thier configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Progress Kendo UI?

Highly configurable so need to dig into its documentation more to get it right. And with frequent releases sometimes it will be headache to upgrade ourselves. No support with typescript as on date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Progress Kendo UI:

We are using it in few departments across the company. We created great components to use in Angular and Asp.NetMVC without us needing to create them ourselves. This allowed us to work more quickly and efficiently getting our software to the business. Great Support by Kendo team whenever we face any issues.

Its well suited to integrate with ASPNET MVC . Its well suited to integrate with AngularJS .
