We love having project management, procurement, and invoicing all in the same place, which makes everything feel much more streamlined. The customer portal was also a key selling point for us. **What do you dislike about Programa?** The contact list and its integration within the tool could be more robust. We’re a large firm, and we struggle with not having a dedicated place to store our trade discounts for vendors and then have those discounts auto-populate in the procurement section. I also dislike that you can’t add hyperlinks in presentations, meeting notes, or tasks. Lastly, we need the budget portion of Programa to be more robust. I need to be able to enter a budget for each client to work against. I don’t want the budget to build as I build a schedule; I want the schedule to work against the budget. **What problems is Programa solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having everything in one place was a huge issue we were dealing with. This tool lets us keep track of all decisions somewhere other than email, and it also makes it easier to track client approvals. ### 2. My favourite feature is that everything is kept in one place, which makes the whole process much clearer. There’s far less room for errors when ordering products. For example, if two chairs have been specified but only one is ordered, that kind of mistake won’t happen with Programa because everything needs to be approved by the client. **What do you dislike about Programa?** Honestly, there isn’t much I don’t like about it, and they’re always improving the program. One thing that would be great, though, is more granular time tracking within the different stages of a project. **What problems is Programa solving and how is that benefiting you?** It’s solving everything! Scheduling is much faster and more accurate. Because everything is live, all parties can see the most up-to-date information at any time. Procurement is a breeze, and clients can easily approve products. ### 3. The chat features are helpful for staff to check their own questions prior to asking for additional assistance making workflow more streamlined. The AI feature to be able to add items from URL's is extremely efficient, sometimes picking up not the exact information so it needs to be checked but has proven to save a lot of time. Overall the performance is very good, sometimes if the internet is slightly slow you may need to input the same information twice for it to save but mostly is very fast. Connecting through to Xero has removes excel spreadsheets and an external finance team that was previously manually tracking what has been paid this has not only saved money but also human error in transferring this data. **What do you dislike about Programa?** The software is still growing there are some areas where the software is lacking particularly in the financial totals and tracking of client funds and being able to identify multiple currencies on the same project as well as being able to add a client totals on the account that items are deducted from would assist in keeping track of budgets massively. Also a pulse feature to track what has been paid each day across all projects would be beneficial as well as a way to export all schedules together and have a total project financial overview would be helpful. **What problems is Programa solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a massive time saver overall which is key, we spend a lot of time scheduling, invoicing and sourcing items and it has provided us with time to be able to design in other areas. ### 4. The project management format is a clear way to set tasks and stay on top of them. Support has also been quick and helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance. The trade portal is useful, but I do find it lacks brands; still, it can be a good starting point when researching for projects. **What do you dislike about Programa?** Occasionally, it can lag when you’re updating schedules, but this is minor in the bigger scheme of things. I do wish the trade portal had more Australian Made suppliers. It would also be great if there were a way to fill in supplier details without having to type everything out each time, as this can be time-consuming. **What problems is Programa solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not having to create separate templates for schedules, invoicing, and presentations is fantastic. Being able to archive items in a schedule, rather than removing them, is really helpful and makes it easy to keep track of everything. I use it as the Project Manager of an interior design form and all of it's features help me keep the project on track. **What do you dislike about Programa?** There were quite a few things I disliked when I started using Programa a little over a year ago; time tracking, invoices, notes, etc. However, Programa has grown so much and is constantly evolving their software.The biggest issue right now is that you can't add shipping to a line item in an invoice. **What problems is Programa solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving having multiple documents and spreadsheets. Everything is on one software. With their latest update, they made it even easier to see all of the information, pertaining to one project, in one space. ### 6. I appreciate the updates with SketchUp that help us work on designs and make changes a lot quicker. The integration makes project management and client interactions seamless. I definitely like the schedules, which are very easy to use, and the client approval and review features. I also find the feature that allows exporting schedules as PDFs for client sign-offs very valuable, and the AI product clipping is really useful. It has been easy to set up, and the aesthetic of Programa also stands out. **What do you dislike about Programa?** I think the commenting can be improved a lot. Having a chat system where you can talk within the program, as well as having clients give feedback on presentations, would be great. Right now, clients can give feedback on products, but it would be awesome to have the opportunity for back-and-forth communication directly on Programa. For instance, if a client asks a question about a product, it would be much easier if the comments could be made directly in the program instead of going through emails. The customer support and onboarding are very helpful in learning the interface, which is also fairly straight forward. Most importantly, they listen, consider, and implement feedback quickly **What do you dislike about Programa?** There is no phone app. The payout from Programa pay is not informative (does not email when client submits payment or tells you when payment is expected into the bank account). **What problems is Programa solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's eliminating double/triple entry. It's allowing a space for all team members (client, contractor, subs, etc) to have clear communication.
