"One of the more forward-looking platforms in digital marketing"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What I like best about Profound is that it gives me visibility into how LLMs are discussing and surfacing our brand, competitors, and topics across AI-generated responses. The platform makes it easier to understand which prompts matter. The ability to monitor trends, prompts, competitive visibility, and sentiment in one place has been valuable for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There's a learning curve when it comes to using Agents, but that's with every new technology. Fortunately, there are templates pre-built into Profound and I have found those worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Leader for AI Tracking, Monitoring and Insights that enable LLMO"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

The user experience and UI is easy to understand. Navigationg through the interface enables users to find key visibilty metrics that showcase benchmarks vs competitors. Data can be viewed in lots of segmentations if the configurations are thoughfully set up to drive the right insights. The roadmap continues to evolve with the space. The service team has also been very responsive and open to feedback. Integrations with brand's CDN offers unique agent analytics that will continue to be a growing area of analysis that this integration supports. Agentic workflows are an interesting starting point for powering content recommendations and assets. Pricing is competitive vs competion. The performance of the platform has been reliable, we've seen some data issues, but when flaggeed our reps and their engineering team take it seriously and respond very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

Not too many dislikes, but it would be great if it also enabled insights for traditional Google / Bing web rankings in addtion to pure generative answer/response analysis. Google is still the big player, blending rankings and unversal results in their traditioanal SERP. This is still the dominate mainstream platform for seaarch and would be nice to track, monitor and optimiize the full spectrum of the search experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best-in-Class LLM Monitoring with Truly Actionable Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I've worked with a lot of LLM monitoring tools over the last year trying to find the best one for my clients, and Profound is truly the best-in-class option. It doesn't just give you a number to share with leadership; it gives you actionable data you can use to improve your visibility in LLMs. I spend as much time in Profound these days doing LLM research as I do in Ahrefs doing SEO research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There's nothing I dislike about the platform. There are a lot of features I don't use, but when it comes to the features I do use, it does exactly what I need it to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for tracking higher-ed Share of Voice in AI search"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound has completely transformed how we approach our AI search and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy at Yale SOM. Instead of treating AI search like a black box, the platform gives us clear, actionable visibility into how our brand is being mentioned, cited, and recommended across major platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and others. It provides an enterprise-grade framework and user-interface that bridges the gap between traditional SEO and the new era of AI-driven discovery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

I haven't found anything that I dislike about Profound. Their customer service and platform simplicity is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean dashboard for structured AI search visibility and prompt tracking insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What I like best about Profound is its ability to provide visibility into how AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity mention and recommend brands. As an SEO Manager working in B2B SaaS, this gives us a completely new layer of insight beyond traditional SEO and keyword rankings.

The platform helps us understand AI search visibility, brand mentions, competitive positioning, and prompt-level performance in a very structured way. I also like that it connects AI visibility data with actionable content opportunities, which is extremely valuable for modern AEO/GEO strategies.

The dashboard is clean, reporting is easy to understand, and the prompt tracking capabilities are especially useful for monitoring how our products and solutions appear across different AI-generated responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

One area where Profound can improve is expanding the depth of analytics and historical trend reporting for larger enterprise SEO teams. Since the AI search/AEO space is evolving rapidly, there are still some workflows and benchmarks that are developing compared to traditional SEO platforms.

In some cases, we would also like more granular recommendations around content optimization and stronger integrations with existing SEO reporting ecosystems. However, the platform is evolving quickly, and new features are being added regularly, which is promising for long-term adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Dashboards with Deep Insight into AI Answer Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I really like the level of insight we’re getting from this tool. The interface feels intuitive, and the dashboards are straightforward and easy to use. From an affiliate and performance perspective, it’s extremely valuable to see which partners, content types, and queries are actually driving visibility within AI-generated answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

Profound is great at showing where visibility exists, but connecting that to measurable business impact still requires additional work. From an affiliate and performance perspective, I would like to see stronger links between AI visibility and actual outcomes like traffic or revenue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Profound’s Live Demos Make Learning the Logic Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What I liked most about Profound was the live demo sessions during video meetings. The clear, detailed explanations of both how to use it and the underlying logic made it much easier for me to understand and apply in practice. I also appreciated the intuitive UI/UX and the data integration features, which made the overall experience more efficient, smooth, and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

It was inconvenient that the data became corrupted when I downloaded the raw data in Korean. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I used to guess, Now I don't. Profound gave me confidence (+ results) in my choices"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

The thing I like best about Profound is that it makes me feel less like I'm guessing.

Customer marketing lives and dies on knowing what your buyers actually care about. Not what you THINK they care about. Not what the sales team tells you they care about. What they actually say when no one's trying to close them.

Profound gets you there fast. The research it pulls is real. The synthesis is sharp. I'm not spending three hours reading analyst reports just to find the one sentence that matters. It finds the sentence. I use it.

That's the whole thing. It respects my time and it makes my work better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The integrations are good. getting the insights INTO the places I actually work is still a manual lift.

None of it is a dealbreaker. But it's where I think they have the most room to grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Embracing the new world of AEO with Profound"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound has rolled out quite a few new features and capabilities that have helped my SEO/GEO team a lot in recent months—most notably, the Agents rollout which has helped us better track our AEO health score and monitor which long-tail, high-intent prompts are 'decaying' and, thus, in need of some re-optimization. While we're still just scratching the surface of how we'll make the most of Agents, it's clear that the out-of-the-box/templates ones already in the platform are easy to use, and it's simple enough to use the native AI assistant to build more bespoke/complex agent workflows in a matter of minutes (something we especially enjoy since we're not the most technical squad). I also appreciate the hands-on workshop our account team provided us to ensure we're taking full advantage of Agents and our biweekly check-ins just to go over use cases, needs, comments/concerns, and learn about the upcoming product roadmap in general. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

While Agents is being embedded more and more into our weekly and monthly SEO/GEO workflows, getting the Agents to do EXACTLY what we're looking for is a bit tough; that said, part of the issue falls on us not fully fleshing out our knowledge base and implementing more distinct/specific instructions for LLM Prompt nodes in the Agents themselves. Also, more of a broader SEO space concern, but attribution and knowing which new metrics matter most is something we're still trying to wrap our heads around; in the future, we're looking for some more actionable insights from the platform that can definitively tell us if our website content that we create/refresh using Profound is actually providing the desired ROI in terms of citations/mentions/visibility. "Makes AI Search Visibility Measurable with Prompt-Level Insights and Citation Tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

The single most valuable thing Profound does for us is make AI search visibility measurable. For years we operated on the assumption that traditional SEO and rank tracking captured how buyers find AdQuick. That stopped being true the moment ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews became part of the research path for media planners and brand marketers. Profound is the first tool I've used that gives a clean, daily read on whether we show up in the answers, and just as importantly, whether our competitors do.

The prompt-level data is what I keep coming back to. Seeing the exact questions that surface AdQuick across different AI engines, plus the ones where we're missing, has reshaped how our content and PR teams prioritize. It turns AEO from a vague strategy conversation into a concrete worklist our marketing org can actually execute against.

Citation tracking is the other piece that earns its keep. Knowing which third-party domains the models trust when they answer questions about out-of-home advertising platforms tells us where to focus partnerships, contributed content, and earned media. That's competitive intelligence we didn't have in any structured form before.

The UI is fast, the data is trustworthy, and the team ships meaningfully every few weeks, which matters in a category changing this quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

Honestly, nothing material. If I had to invent something, I'd say the category itself is so new that best practices are still being written in real time, but that's not a Profound problem, that's an industry condition. The team has been responsive every time we've asked for something, and the product has kept pace with how fast the underlying AI engines are changing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
